✨Proud make moment! ♥️ For the launch of our new Grange Aran yarn, tomorrow, I thought I would show y’all a bit of a preview of this yarn in action! I knit the #verdea by @mishi2x in the 🧶colorway: “Salted Pearl”, and I just couldn’t be happier! ✨I loved every stitch, BUT, obviously the cables are my favorite! I mean- Hello stitch definition! It’s still a bit chilly in our neck of the woods here in PA, but I can easily use this as a layering piece to function as a jacket, to keep off the brisk morning air. ✨I loved working with this yarn SO much, that I dropped everything and immediately swatched for a new sweater design! ✨Grange Aran is dropping on the website tomorrow at 12 PM EST, in our 20 new solid colors, and we will also have Salted Pearl in our offerings for those of you who want to knit one of these gorgeous cardigans of your very own. Y’all know we love a great colorwork sweater! And recently @unwind_knitwear has revamped her pattern: “The Lost City”, and @trnchd knit this beautiful sample using our Roan DK in “Static”, as the main color ✨ ✨🧶We have restocked our Roan DK, including “Static”, if you are looking to make a Lost City Sweater of your very own #Repost @trnchd ・・・ The Lost City updated version by @unwind_knitwear is out today! Check out Rachel’s post for an early bird discount code. This was her first colorwork sweater that’s been redone with better grading and instructions. The best part is how customizable it is. So many of us testers split for the sleeves in between different colorwork sections and added or subtracted length we needed. This was on my knit list for a few years and I’m glad I was able to cross it off with this test knit. I decided to go crazy with the colors and I think it paid off. No need to be this ambitious, a 2-color or even 3-color without needing to hold 3 colors at the same time looks great too. I paired 3 Selvage DK colors with Primrose Yarn Co’s Roan DK, a base I’ve been meaning to try, and I’m glad I did. ✨OBSESSED✨ with this new Aran base we are launching in a few weeks time! Hey y’all! Kelsey here, checking in, and I just wanted to give a review of this new base in real time, as I am working with it. I am knitting the “Verdea” by @mishi2x in 🧶our colorway: “Salted Pearl”, and I just cast on the second collar panel last night. Superwash is a very difficult fiber type to get “plump”,…but this yarn; it is my new favorite and current obsession, and I plan to switch right over to designing a new pullover after I finish this sample! The fabric created with it, reads exceptionally well in textured knitting and it holds color like a dream…so all you deep and moody/ fall pallet color soul mates of mine- you will be in good company with this yarn line, as well as pleasantly surprised with the new colors we are bringing in with this yarn. This yarn is a true Aran weight. It comes in 115g (140 yds) & 250 (300 yds) skeins. *ordering 250g skeins will come with a price perk, and will be set as dye to order when this yarn is launched* …to be frank with you, I still can’t get over the stitch definition on these cables. Even after I took these pictures! My mind is literally 🤯 blown, in the best of ways.
