The man knelt on the ground, his hands examinating the soil beneath him. That was an area unknown to him. Why was he back on the Shadow Isles? He wasn’t ready to face Thresh just yet but maybe he would find something to help him with his task. He knew her soul was trapped in the lantern, but would killing the Warden release her? Who knew.

The soil around that area seemed to have been digged recently, what only raised his suspicion. Why would a damned soul go inside the earth like that?

With his guns held tightly, Lucian moved foward, somewhat tempted to find the source of that mystery as well.

Thresh ran a hand along the black stone of the abandoned monastery, pushing open the worn doors and stepping into the halls.  He hadn’t ventured this way in a long time, part of him was afraid to, afraid to see what had become of the buildings he once called home.

“Hello?” he called into the empty halls, expecting no response, but unable to shake the feeling that he wasn’t alone, that someone, someone at least a little bit alive.

He’s strong. Stronger than almost anyone she’s ever seen before—lithe were the people of the Oovi-Kat tribe, and she’d hardly ever thought that anyone’s arms could get so... big! She wonders what someone would have to do, to look so heavy, like sort of barrier. Neeko’s arms reach out, curious, and she touches them. Gingerly, light.

Even still, the response is immediate.

A flash of sadness sparks through her mind, before it floods her whole body. “Oh!” she squeaks out, unintentional. Neeko blinks a few times, tries to steady herself, and looks up to the larger man. His name is Yorick, his sho’ma is weak, and it begs... though she’s not sure for what. “Neeko is sorry,” she says. “Are you... are you alright?”

crimson liquid drip from rose colored lips , hues glow within` the nightly hour , and nine tails droop to the ground . a light blue sphere is held close to her chest as the life essence of another has been stolen for the night . ahri toyed with her food for too long , and she tired herself out for doing so . this one felt special though . their very being enticed the gumiho , and she wanted to know more about them . who they are , what they did , things they loved , food they hated , everything . the gumiho subconsciously allowed herself to become close , and it took a piece of her heart with it .

painted by the humans as a killer , the vastayan knew she was more than that . her nine tails and reputation did not define her as the woman she sees herself as . the tales of her may all be true , but behind her means to kill is a soul . she may have lived through everything runeterra has to offer , but she finds herself entrapped in a realm with familiar faces . there`s no escaping this forsaken world , and she`s yet to go insane because of it . day by day , intrigued ionians come to the forest to see if she is real ... sadly , those who visit never return .  ———  a single tear rolls down her cheek as she begins to feel the memories of the human seep through .

eyes closed as she took in all the pain and suffering this man had going on . it was as if life looked at this being and did not want for him to live life to the fullest . her taking his life may have been his sweet release , but that`s not what she wanted at all . the blood that has tainted her claws is the blood of an unhappy man . precious memories this person carried were shared only with her , and it was then that she truly felt her heart sink . underneath it all , she feels empathy for the souls she takes .

                          ❛    i ... am sorry ... i didn`t know ...    ❜  hues looked down at the orb once more as she spoke softly to herself . there was remorse , pain , sorrow , sadness . the gumiho felt it all , but as the soul became one with her .. she was able to let go of those negative feelings and be the legend she is spoke about . ahri once loved every living thing , but something within` her changed the way she looks at humans ; the very people who tell the tale of the nine - tailed fox . she hides within` the wilderness to blend in with the other predators .

she is , after all , not even a human being .

Rashtrakavi Madhav Prasad Ghimire cremated with state honours Final rites of Rashtrakavi Madhav Prasad Ghimire has been carried out today. He passed away on Tuesday evening at the age of 101 years. The national poet has been cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat with state honours, this afternoon. The late poet’s sons, Indiwar and Rajiv Ghimire, lit the funeral pyre. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Ishwar Pokhrel paid tribute to Rashtrakavi Ghimire at his residence in Lainchaur, earlier today. A contingent of the Nepali Army offered guard of honor to the Rashtrakavi who is also the Honorary Brigadier General of Nepali Army. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai, former Minister for Defence Bhimsen Das Pradhan, high-ranking army officers, litterateurs, artists and the general public also offered final tribute to the Rashtrakavi at the Aryaghat. Nearly two years ago, the revered senior poet had marked his centennial. Ghimire, who made remarkable contributions in Nepali literature, was born on Asoj 7, 1976 BS (September 23, 1919) in Bahundada, Pustun of Lamjung district.
