I have a bit of a weird rant and I feel like u would understand my frustration... do you ever go to a friends house to watch something that is scheduled for live broadcast on a free to air channel, and u get there and they're like "OK I'm gonna chromecast it" or "I'll get the YouTube livestream up" or "I'll just stream it from the TV channels website" like NOOOOOO I miss television. I want to watch ads for the local supermarket that tells the specials, and get the news bulletins. I hate that ppl are unplugging their TVs from their aerials these days. I went to a friend's house to watch eurovision and we had to stream it on her freaking playstation, it is so uncultured to me. What do you think? Is this a relatable issue affecting aficionados of The Past™️?

That's a great question! I am definitely an aficionado of the past, but I can also appreciate some mod cons as they say. But yeah, I actually LOVE shitty/cheesy commercials from other countries/states, so I'm probably the best and worst person to receive this rant, lol (I'm also a fan of any regional grocery store--you're in Texas? We better hit up your local so I can just wander around for a bit)

I love it when it's cut like that and you can basically see Babe in ffwd leaning more and more and MORE towards Billy until he's outright resting against him. He does it in almost every interview or reaction vid. They start sitting side by side or even apart but it's like gravity, there comes a moment when Billy simply makes space for him and lets him snuggle.

I'm on my third watch of 莲花楼 and I just love it so much. It makes me so happy. There is just SO MUCH in each episode, so many great jumping off points for fic and continuing adventures. And I adore (most of) the characters SO FUCKING MUCH. Just makes my heart sing.

There are also very few scenes that I feel a desire to skip/ffwd through or otherwise ignore. And even those that I don't care for are usually short rather than dragging out over several episodes. The pacing is good for me in that sense especially.

And while I wish the Special/Bonus episode was just part of the regular episodes, I'm glad it's there because for me it is unequivocally a happy ending. I trust Hulijing.

I immediately went COLORBLIND DADDY

the sight of Jin's neck, my god. I don’t need this brain rot 🥲 my mind immediately went here and then TikTok also said this.

But like…make it less toxic and softer. Jin is colorblind but doesn’t tell his best friend and tries the drops for the first time. Is able to notice all the red streaks she has in her hair. She laughs at him and brushes it off as "men take forever to notice when you change your hair". FFWD to adulthood, Jin doesn't run golf courses and country clubs- he owns ski resorts. She's learned by now that he is colorblind, even with the color correcting contact so she doesn't wear green/red. He asks her why and she tells him so that he can always "see" her. idk that's all I got for now. we would definitely be getting a tub scene though.
