New sketchbook spread, largely featuring my fanwalker, Mé, the shapeshifter who is so polite and really really really wants you to join their cult dedicated to an angel bent on cleansing all of mortal life ♡. And also might reduce you to a steaming pile of blood jam.
Also, I actually love the fact that the sex scene was Tharn's dream because this told us, us the viewers, what Tharn finds arousing and appealing. He likes it when Phaya goes for his neck. He likes it when Phaya is pushy. He likes the idea of being held down and taken, so... pretty much everything that Phaya's been doing until now? Must've felt like a mating ritual, so to speak, to our poor Tharn 😁
I truly loved the moment when Chalothon told Phaya, "I will take him away from you. Even if he has to die." Because this perfectly portrays the haughty omniscience of a god. So what if he has to kill Tharn in this life to keep them apart, Chalothon will simply wait for Wansarut's next incarnation and try again. As an immortal being, he has all the time in the universe on his hands. That's just so... creepy 😱
According to the latest interview with Saint Suppapong, The Sign cost almost 100 million baht to make! Everyone was telling him not to do it, that he could not handle it, that it couldn't be done, that CGI was way too expensive. And he still did it because he wanted to challenge himself and push the boundaries of the Thai entertainment industry. And he paid for it out of his own pocket, no outside sponsors. And he had the guts to hire a complete newbie for one of the leads. And he also worked as an advisor for the drama in religious matters because he himself is very religious so he was very careful to get it right. Holy smokes! Saint Suppapong, I salute you!
(I wonder if religion is one of the things over which he and Babe bonded because they seem like two peas in a pod in this matter.)
Absolutely hilarious! Babe made a dirty joke and then had a blast expanding on his theory of Tharn having a choking kink - while the rest of the cast was slowly dying in the background. Seriously, Babe might be tiny but he has hidden depths. And a dirty mind!
Another tiny detail that really gets me in the PhayaTharn love scene is the mirror bit at the end, when you can actually see Tharn moving too, you can see the muscles in Babe's hip flexing. It's such a small detail, barely noticeable, but it makes the whole thing more real. You actually believe that Tharn is enjoying this a lot since Babe's not lying there like a limp noodle, letting Billy do all the hard - 😁 - work, ya know? You look at them and you think, yeah, yup, Tharn's loving this.
