Dimitri - a name Men gave him. At least, that’s the name they called out when they wished to pray to him.
The Tempest King, The Mad King, God of Destruction, God of Storms, God of Retribution - he went by many titles that changed over the years. It depended on who told the stories, who heard them, were they exaggerated (in most cases, yes), were they on his side - or her side. It all made a difference to these twisting tales that always seemed to add extra information with each generation.
To the point he wasn’t even sure who he was really.
A loner, that was more obvious. He remained in his ethereal temple for the most part, listening to the calls of those who wanted late loved ones avenged, those who wanted forgiveness for their crimes, even from farmers who greatly needed rain for their crops. It seemed a strange bunch of requests for someone most hated, others tried to understand.
Really, he just wanted to lead the dead to peace. To avenge those who were taken too soon for no reason. To destroy anyone who tried to overpower the weak for their own gain. The whole crop thing was just due to his strange ability concerning the weather... He wore storm-clouds like a cape. They formed at his shoulders and wisped down his back. As an emotional God, he worse his feelings on his chest...or back in this case - as the clouds would reflect his mood. Fine and light when in a good mood, dark when lonely or irritated, raining when upset, hurt or depressed - and storming when he was enraged. The weather reflected on Fódlan - depending on where he had wandered at the time. Some even believed this weather was related to a different deity all together.
But there was a side to him the other Gods/Goddess’ - and especially Men - never seemed to see. The side that enjoyed the vision of families together. How he would guide lost children back home to see the relief on the parents faces. How he kept an eye on orphans who tried to run away. If anything - to stop these children becoming destroyed, as he was once. A very long time ago.
Now his days consisted of nothing. Maybe the occasional War with Edelgard and Claude. It was almost automatic. There was a rage there as she tried to inflict her obsession with forcing change on the land of men - but...it was all in the motions at this point. Sometimes he would win, sometimes he would lose - cast into the land of Men for a time until he was strong enough to return to his temple.
Most of all...it was getting boring. He couldn’t even remember why they fought in the first place...

from the beginning: she was always kinda screwed, just a matter of when. for the longest time, she had no clue that she & her mum were her dad’s second family
absolutely the prettiest girl on the playground with an ego to match, a little entitled & expecting only good things for herself, because that was just how the world seemed to work for her
until her dad’s actual wife burst into their house when she was 14 & things went to shit, yknow
sorin ends up being bribed with a scholarship to a fancy private school to keep her mouth shut, with her dad thinking she’d be an easy to manipulate dumbass
she takes the deal, but unfortunately it’s never enough & sorin starts blackmailing her dad to make her life happy enough that she won’t feel the need to divulge his secret
so the story went that she’s self-made, single-mum family, scholar & entrepreneur etc
in reality, she got bored with those false achievements a year in, but she was too much of an overachiever who found a single cheat code for life & wasn’t willing to give it up...
at least until she started a band (retro rosy) that she thought was low stakes enough that it wouldn’t matter if she failed at it, so she didn’t get her dad to pull any strings
& proceeded to enjoy the whole “reaping the rewards of your efforts” thing a lot more than she expected. through some growing up into the mix, and you get:
one belated coming of age arc! sorin cuts herself off after she graduates from college & the band’s dissolution. she ends up starting from the bottom, though probably with a lil boost from her impressive resume mostly gotten from her blackmailing her dad
also she’s keeping up with her growing love for bass by occasionally moonlighting as a session bassist!
it’s not a totally clean slate, but that’s fine. it’ll be all her from this point on ♡
personality wise, she’s a mixed bag of growing pains. her image matters a lot to her, not in the sense that she wants to be known as nice, but as capable. #girlboss shit. taken too many shortcuts to be truly cutthroat & a little too bitter to be soft. a pretty straight talking, no bullshit kinda person, not very subtle about how she feels either. kind of demanding & sometimes behaves like she thinks she’s still the queen of the playground ( guess she peaked emotionally at age 5 lmao ) a perfectionist who isn’t used to failing, so she’ll invest too much of herself into the things she needs/wants to accomplish on her own & has too little for the rest of it. slowly getting more introspective about her life & a lil more mellow, less instinctively reactive. prone to bad ideas on a good day, weirdly lucky about them for ~unknown apartment reasons~... getting into the worker bee life & living for fridays, very determined to Make Something Of Herself but unsure if the consultancy life is where she wants to do it. she’s got a bunch of insecurities from her childhood that she kept buried under her false achievements, but now she’s trying very hard to like herself in the absence of them & making progress she can be properly proud of! also just really likes playing her lil bass so hit her up for a jam session

you were born on a scorching hot day in irving , your father says so, anyway. you’re convinced he’s being dramatic. your birth went smoothly; after two previous children, your parents had become disillusioned by childbirth. just another one to add to the bunch, and one that was meant to save a dying marriage. still, they loved you nonetheless. your father, to this day. your mother, until you were ten, and then she up and left without a warning.
your father keeps food on the table by fixing cars. you spend your days in the hot sun watching him replace parts and continuously try to crank vehicles until they run. he fist pumps every time one does. ‘ how lame, ’ you think, but it’s inspiring how hard he works to take care of three kids. and he does a good job.
therefore , you spend much of your early life trying to make him proud. you’re smart as a whip, and all your teachers have good things to say about you when it comes to academics. you’re a bit of a troublemaker, though. your father doesn’t mind that too much; he was the same at your age. and he’s proud — proud to see you work so hard.
you spend your teenage years doing much of the same. though , you begin to come home a bit later than usual, and your excuse is that you’ve been at ashley’s or samantha’s, but really all three of you were out partying. you don’t think your father would care (your grades are fine & he wants you to live like a normal teenager) , but you still lie about it. why ? well, who knows, maybe you like the adrenaline rush it gives you. like most things, you do them for the thrill.
you join the swim team. you’re kind of bad , but that’s okay. just like always , you work hard, and you realize that you’re kind of a natural. your father cheers louder than anyone else in the stands. it pushes you to do better. with your good grades and athletics , your guidance counselor tells you you’re a shoo in for a scholarship from whatever university you want. you apply to several. if it’s one thing you hate, its this town. you can’t wait to make it out, and you figure, this might be your only way.
you’re eighteen, and you’re in love. it’s crazy how love can make you see things differently. suddenly , this town doesn’t seem half bad. all your friends find it cute , and you tell them everything. the things he tells you or the way he makes you feel. it’s a crazy feeling; you never want it to end.
you throw your cap in the air. finally , high school is over. college is looming. you’ve been accepted to several & received scholarships from at least a few. you lie in bed thinking about it. now, you suddenly don’t want to leave so bad. don’t want to leave him behind. how could someone leave another they love so easily? it makes you hate your mother more.
for the first time, you disappoint your father. you don’t go to college. you don’t give a damn. you want to stay where love is. you’re addicted to the feeling. this lasts for three years. now, you’re twenty-one; you’ve gotten a job at zoinkies, and that keeps you away for most of the day. you randomly decide to visit your boyfriend during a lunch break one day. you find him in bed with someone else. suddenly , you realize love isn’t as addicting as you once thought. what once made the world beautiful now made it hideous. what once made you feel so high had somehow made you feel so low. it was horrible, and you’d realized your mistakes.
you threw away your future for love. something as rotten and twisted as love. something you swore you’d never let yourself feel again. something that you put away in a locked box with no key. irving was the same place you’d always known it to be. boring, drab, familiar. at least you had your family. that was barely enough to keep you sane, though, and it was hard to feel normal.
you turned to the thing that help. alcohol, partying, any escape at all. you lacked coping skills — that much was clear, but you didn’t care. you blamed it on something else entirely. just as your teachers had said, you’re a bit of a troublemaker. you do anything to make yourself feel alive, to make yourself feel free of the hurt.
it’s two years later now. you’re still not over it in some ways, as regret turns to anger and resentment. you’re bitter. who wouldn’t be? but you feel like you’ve had time to mourn. maybe it’s because you never acknowledged it in the way you should’ve ( it’s still locked away in that box. ) you still have your bad habits. you still work at your stupid job that you hate. you’re lost, but you’ll figure it out. you always do. so, you continue to float , seemingly stuck in the town that you never let go of, and you wonder what comes next. only time will tell.

still swims but doesn’t have as much time for it. probably not as good, but since she spends the summer lifeguarding, she uses that time to practice & try to get back to where she was. also kinda jaded asf so even if she says she wants to get back into it, she probably won’t lmaoo.
is a horrible driver. how did she get a license ?? not even she knows. def the type to like have a leg up on the dash board, hand out the window, and only one hand on the wheel while speedin idk how she makes it out alive
can take a car apart and put it back together again thanks to her dad. also changes her own tires so let her change your tires. im just sayin
stays up way too late & would sleep until 2 pm everyday if she didn’t have to work. should probably work on being an adult and going to bed at a normal time but just half the time doesn’t give a fuck so she’s probably sleep deprived a lot. therefore also has a

* former friends / enemies — she’s lived here her whole life, so she’s at least got one. these two just don’t get along/no longer get along for whatever reason that can be plotted out.
* coworkers — she works zoinkies throughout the year and picks up shifts as a lifeguard during the summer so your muses could know her from that. could delve into a close friend territory too lmao. they probably just sit in break rooms and talk about rude customers or bossy managers lmaooo.
* literally anything your heart desires — a lot could work. we could even just start from nowhere & have them meet for the first time if they’re newer/just to town.

long story short: love island was fun as hell. she did in fact find love, was a fan favorite, and won the whole damn show. she and her boyfriend moved in together shortly after becoming $100,000 richer. and you would think that a couple strong enough to win love island would be together forever, right? it basically ended up in disaster for sofia with her finding out he cheated on her and had her out here looking STUPID. she was truly heartbroken considering they had been in the talks of engagement. but what can ya do?

some background (TW homophobia):
brady is the third child of colonal bradford wright, sr. and isabella wright. his father obviously comes from the military and his mom is one of those stay-at-home military moms/wives with no actual hobbies. they’re also both from well-off families so, you know. they got moneyyyy.
the family moved around a lot due to general relocation and living on different military bases and things like that. as a result, brady and his 2 older siblings were all born in a different state. brady himself was born in colorado, where he lived for the first 7 years of his life. since then, he’s never lived somewhere longer than 5 years.
because of the lifestyles isabella and the colonel both came from in their own childhoods, and then all of the people the colonel was associated with over the years, brady was raised in an environment where appearance was key. his parents have all these rich friends and each of the children had to appear polite, put together, well-mannered, etc. when they went to their fancy parties. arguments were not well-received, so brady and his siblings learned to be quiet and get through it. it was never much of a choice at all.
the relationship with his parents, and especially his dad, is complicated. they’re strict, conservative, traditional... all the things brady isn’t. they were never quiet about the political/societal opinions and ensured the kids didn’t form their own. but of course, that was kinda bullshit, and brady and his siblings learned to think what they wanted. but it was complex at home. political debates just didn’t, or really couldn’t, happen. defying authority was simply not tolerated ― and having a father in the military was no joke. so brady didn’t argue. just like when he was a kid, he’d gotten good at shutting up and dealing with the terrible things they would say at the dinner table.
needless to say, brady discovering his own bisexuality in his early teens became a closely kept secret; his parents’ extremely conservative views and family trips to church every week made sure of that. now that he’s an adult, it’s become much less of a secret. if you’re a close friend of brady’s, you probably know that he’s bi. but it’s not quite something he’s shouting from any rooftops anytime soon. as difficult as things have been with his parents over the years, he’s just not quite ready for everything that would come along with coming out yet. so being totally out and proud is a work in progress for him atm.

brady has always been more creative than he was ever truly able to express, so he spent a lot of time in his earlier years with an old camcorder he’d been given, messing around and making movies (and forcing his siblings and childhood friends to participate). it’s hard to tell for certain when it became the most important thing to him, but at some point brady decided videography was his passion and directing was his dream. so now you’d be hard pressed to find brady without his camera.
his sister introduced him to vibez and pushed him to apply as a way to do something he loves and is good at, so... here he is!!!
he’s also an artist, but it’s more of a hobby. he likes digital art and pencil sketches but also enjoys experimenting with paint.

eiley is originally from weston, ma -- one of the richest towns in massachusetts that’s only twenty-ish minutes east of beaumont university.
her parents are both graduates of beaumont university, both with doctorates in the medical field. that being said, with the combination of their salaries, they’ve got quite the wealth -- and that’s just outside the inherited wealth from each of her parents’ families. that being said, eiley lived quite comfortably.
growing up, eiley cheered competitively and did so throughout most of high school when a rotator cuff injury put her out for her senior season. she did the little cheers on the sidelines of games, but was benched for the competitive season. after her surgery, she just decided to not go back nor pursue collegiate cheer, but to delve into her studies.
she was inspired by both of her parents’ careers that she made it her dream too and pursued that full-speed ahead, even attending the same university that they did after taking a gap year. during her gap year, she gained a lot of popularity on instagram from all of her traveling, thus now gaining the title “instagram model”, but she really doesn’t identify too closely with that. it’s just something she does for fun (with some monetary gain). school & becoming a doctor are ranked higher on her list of priorities than instagram is.
when she got to beaumont, she rushed sigma epsilon chi to be apart of the sisterhood her mother was too apart of. the lifestyle and atmosphere just seemed to feel like home. being a legacy, it was really easy for eiley to be a part of it.
eiley’s first year at beaumont was life-changing. when she started that fall, she had no idea how drastic her life would be as by that thanksgiving break, she would discover she was about 9 weeks pregnant. admittedly, eiley was quite open with her own sexuality and didn't shy away from landing in strangers. if you ask anyone, eiley doesn’t know who the father is and that was a lot for her family to take in. being their only daughter, they had high expectations and pregnancy out of wedlock was not one of them. by the time the baby came that june, they were accepting. she was mostly glad that her sorority sisters helped her through everything and were supportive. that only made her bond with her sisters closer.
now that her daughter, catalina, is over a year old, they’ve come up with a routine that’s helped everyone out. although eiley would rather be with her baby all the time, she’s pushing through to her doctorate with the help of her family and full-time nanny. about 5 days of the week she sees her baby, whether it be for an hour or for a weekend.

she’s such a kind and gentle soul that would genuinely never hurt anyone intentionally. however, once her mind is made up, that’s what she’ll stick to and she’ll try to let you down in the nicest way possible.
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY HER SWEETNESS & KINDNESS!!! if you piss her off enough, she will snap quick and hard while maintaining a calm demeanor (she’ll cry later). her words can be as soft as silk or crack like a whip. don’t cross her.

ok so first things first,,, youngjae was born in south korea to a single mother. at first he knew nothing about his father and his support system was really just his mom, it had been the two of them together since he could remember it. they were super super close and it was no surprise that jae was just the biggest mama’s kid. things weren’t easy, he remembers his mom working a lot and not seeing her much, of learning how to take care of himself in an early age ,, but the concepts of hardship and money (or the lack of it) are quite hard to grasp as a seven year old.
VIOLENCE TW// jae remembers it was around when he was nine or so that he met the man he was supposed to call dad. until then, he had his moments but for the most part, he was a bubbly and out going little kid. things changed then, and he didn’t understand exacty why but his dad would hang around the house, he would be the one getting groceries ,, and it was weird at first, especially because jae never really had the curiosity to learn about his father before, and then it got even weirder because even though he wasn’t v well experienced in the father territory,, he was pretty sure his dad shouldn’t be hitting his mom or yelling at him all the time. was that what dad did?
growing up,, jae realized that his mother ended up taking his father back looking for a financial support. he learned how money was the one thing that opened the door for all of that crap. at age twelve, jae got his first job and there wasn’t one day that would go by without him trying to convince his mother to leave the house with him, he wanted things to be just like it was-- just the two of them. his father didn’t just yell at him anymore. jae couldn’t let him keep hurting his mother. theather was what held him together,,, it was the only thing at school that made him feel something. he liked to pretend to be somebody else,,, with a different life. acting made him forget about the fear that he felt all the time. it was how he dreamed of changing his own life.,,, and he maDE it after graduation, managing an audition to a famous korean company.
first paycheck was when he and his mother moved out,, and hoped to never see that man again. jae is known for being lead actor in famous doramas and back in south korea, he was beginning to be cherished as the nation’s sweetheart. a few years into his career, his father managed to find him again and that was when the threats began. that was when he began giving him money. at first it wasn’t a big amount. all jae wanted was for him to leave again and never show up. but he kept on coming back and that was when he decided to move to the us, with the reason of focusing on his international career. his company stil had no interest in letting the public know his sexuality, since his public was made largely of females, but he was glad that his mother at least was far away from that monster.
jae’s still scared. he’s been scared for a while now. it’s hard to remember exactly when he began feeling so frightened and just didn’t stop. he’s a good actor and been getting more and more attention with the projects he’s been working on--- he hates how he needs to lie all the time. about everything. he hates feeling so small and unable to be himself. he hates he acts like a whole new person and that’s who people like. he lets out this frustration in the small things he does get to do. he wants to feel free-- he wants to feel like he does things for himself. he knows it’s far from reality but relationships are the core of it-- he falls so deep and enters so quickly;; but gets out of it just as easily, often ignoring emotional responsabilities. he hates feeling trapped. all he wants is to just. be.

some people are born lucky, and others are lucky to be born, and as her name might suggest diamond tiaira patterson was one of thee few born lucky in chicago. her father is a big time music producer who peaked in the 90s all the way through the mid 2000s who worked with all your early childhood favorites and her mother is a former elite gymnast who wowed crowds in the summer olympics in ‘91.
the patterson name oozed greatness in the city and saw nothing but success, diamond was destined for greatness when her mom forced put her into gymnastics at age four, and the young woman thrived and excelled every since, even dedicating her talents to track and field, cheerleading, and volleyball in high school where she was a 4x state champion between cheerleading and volleyball. but, gymnastics always came first no matter what.
the glory at such a young age was enthralling, diamond loved the attention, she loved performing, it became a 2nd nature, but the pressure from her mom to push harder and harder, and the fear of letting her down was something that drove her competitive nature through the roof. but it gave her an edge, her desire to be great was sickening.
but, she had all the talent, and the accomplishments to back whatever she had to say.
the competitiveness drove her to sabotage a fellow competitor who scored a point higher than her, and had the possibility of beating her, so diamond put a teeny tiny thumbtack on the balance beam, and her opponent landed foot first on it and twisted that ankle all the way up and landed on her neck, her career? riley was born in seattle, WA, the oldest child of luke and erin bennett. he has a younger brother, quinn (currently age 12). luke is a veterinarian and erin is a lawyer, so both parents were always pretty busy while riley was growing up. but they always made sure to have family time, even if that time was just going to church every sunday, all eating around the dinner table most nights a week, or just barely making it to one of riley’s little league games. they were good parents, making sure riley knew what he had and respected his own privileges and the world around him. really, he couldn’t complain about the way he was raised.
the age gap between riley and his brother did not go unnoticed, though. it was kind of a difficult adjustment for him, going from being an only child to a pretty lonely ten-year-old whose already-busy parents had to give 90% of their free attention to the baby. riley was always an understanding, good-natured kid, so he got it. it wasn’t their fault, or baby quinn’s. but as the years went on and his brother only became more needy and annoying right as riley was entering his middle school years, it was no surprise that he longed for attention — any attention, even if it was negative.
it was why riley started to act out in those early years. minor things like talking back advanced to skipping classes, which turned into experimenting with weed on school grounds with his new “friends”. then, suddenly, riley was not a very nice kid. someone he knew he wasn’t, and didn’t want to be. but it got him the attention he craved — all leading up to his expulsion from his middle school. several past warnings had piled up to an incident involving his friends setting school property on fire, with 14-year-old riley caught up in the middle of it unwillingly. his reluctance to participate hadn’t helped his case, though, especially when one of the kids was found with a whole lot more than weed on him.
needless to say, that moment was kind of the kick in the ass riley had needed to pull his shit together, even if it never should have gotten that far. his family relocated to the south and riley could start fresh in high school. he hung out with people who actually knew, understood, and liked him for the loving person he was. with time, he earned back his parents’ trust, mostly because they knew who he really was (and had always told him that when he was getting into so much trouble). and maybe they blamed themselves a little bit too, because riley found that they were both making the extra effort to be home for dinner more often than they weren’t, and the four of them felt whole again.
riley was floored by how easy it was to discover his passions when he wasn’t trying to fake who he was. he took an elective photography class in high school and realized that not only was he genuinely enjoying himself, but he had a natural eye for it. photography became his number one passion and ultimate goal in life. so he left for college in new orleans, focusing on what he loved and finding his people, and he never looked back.

riley majored in studio art because he just loves all art in general. he was exposed to a lot of different styles. although photography was obviously his main focus, he’s taken his skills forward and enjoys doing a lot of random types of art. like, paper mache stuff. don’t ask him, he doesn’t know either.
he does freelance photography work and also worked as a barista throughout college.
once he hit high school he developed a much deeper appreciation for his little brother, and now quinn is one of the most important things in riley’s life. he’d do anything to protect him and make him feel safe & welcome, even if he likes to mess with him with the occasional “ur the reason i got expelled” comment. no one else can mess with him though. brotherly luv.
he is a genuinely kind person and loves very deeply. if you’re one of His People, you’re in for it. he’s touchy and he will take pictures of you to hang on his walls as a dedicated shrine to the people he luvs.
riley is the guy you can call at 3am when you need a hug or someone to yell at or sit next to in silence and he’ll come, no questions asked.
he’s always been an active person. he used to play soccer and baseball as a child, and football in high school. nowadays he loves to go rock climbing or hiking, and he lovingly pesters his friends to go with him.
he can be the life of the party. he never gets too sloppy drunk, but enough to have fun and bring everyone else along for the ride. he’ll start up karaoke and drag people with him. party on, dudes.

he’s an only child but b/c of how conceited, reckless and unpredictable he is, it’s more like having 4 children in one person
i don’t wanna say he’s your resident bad boy but

he’s drugs, alcohols, wild parties and mr. steal yo girl all in one
he does this sort of “game” where he will pretend to like people only to break their heart on purpose + ruin their lives (think cruel intentions); he’s a casanova of sorts
now that he’s out of hs he tries to keep it on the low now because he’s going to run his father’s business by 27 (it’s p much required that he gets the family firm (that’s one of the best in the country and has been expanded all around the us in major cities) as the only legitimate child of the fitzgerald family)
otherwise he’ll lose his inheritance and be disowned. while he dislikes being apart of it all, the family has convinced him that he’s only known money and power and he would fail w/o it so now he can’t imagine being without it
oh and when i say legit i mean his dad had a child w another girl when he had just gotten married to his mom (so it was an affair that nobody knew about) and it was a surprise that it happened so when the fitzgerald group found out they were like “we can’t let this blow up into a scandal” and they basically spun it so it seemed like this was acc some long lost cousin

in the typical rich boy sense he’s always throwing a pity party for himself
his dad and him were v close but then he died when seb was 18 and that ruined him. the murderer was never caught and seb wants to desperately find him but with every year that passes, he sinks deeper and deeper, hiding it w his confidence and obscene amount of pride
?idea: seb’s the lord henry to someone’s dorian gray… playing devil’s advocate and ruining good shell w any chance he can get… just for fun. basically a bad influence--spouting philosophies he had not even cared to practice (such as sin didn’t exist and that we must fall to our instincts rather than allowing social norms to restrict us from what we truly desire) to see them fall. a simple pastime he partook in when there was nothing to do on campus. he was the serpent in eve’s ear, barely caring to really understand them.
