Owned by the always friendly (and seldom sober) April Rhodes, A Cup-pella is a tiny coffee shop in which the only thing more mismatched than the random assortment of furniture and decor is the clientele. And yet, just like an obscenely pink feathered lampshade somehow manages to work right next to a sensible Chesterfield, April’s regulars have become a family. Some came for a much needed caffeine fix, and others in search of a part-time job. Some treat April’s tiny stage as their own personal trampoline to the Grammys, and others just want to enjoy the show. But whatever their reasons to open that bright yellow door for the first time, the truth is it now feels a bit like home.

If They Had A Kid: Lena Luthor and Kara Danvers

So, on a personal note, I'm probably not picking FCs for these. My reasoning is that I'm legit lazy and also just feel like it limits certain things. Also for all f/f pairings I'll specify who carried but I'm using Kryptonian tech so that the child is biologically both, cos I can.

Name: Kieran Winslow Jack Danvers-Luthor

Gender: Nonbinary (AMAB)

Personality: On the surface, Kieran is their mom's child. Bright ball of sunshine, loves everybody, lots of energy and hope for the world. No doubt they're Kara's kid. They talk a little too fast and love a little too deeply. They're ambitious and cunning, but never cruel. They can get caught up in projects and forget to be a person very easily. They feel too much and do their best to hide it. Not because they're ashamed but because it tends to overwhelm them and causes mental shut downs.

General appearance: Tall, lanky, stronger than they look. Blonde hair like Kara, shoulder length. Lena's eyes, so the blue with the golden brown heterochromia that typically looks green (I've spent TOO LONG looking at Katie's eyes okay). They appreciate a cute dress and a well tailored suit, but wear a lot of jeans with either cute blouses or button downs with the sleeves rolled up. Also, the occasional studded leather jacket and skinny jeans (or leather pants) may make an appearance from time to time. They have a bracelet with the House of El crest that's lined with a variant of synthetic kryptonite that isn't deadly (Lena spent a long time on it) but still works as a power dampener, as an alternative to the lead lined glasses of their mom and uncle. They do wear glasses, just not lead lined ones, it's a fashion choice more than anything.

Special Talents: All of Kara's super powers. Ignoring those, juggling.

Who they like better: If pressured to answer, it's always aunt Alex.

Who they take after more: Lena but most people think Kara.

Who carried: Lena

Personal headcanon: Keiran takes after Lena on most fronts but so much of it overlaps with Kara that people legitimately don't see their mammy's influence. But those closest to their parents will tell you that they take more after Lena. Especially in the way they feel too much, bleed from other people's wounds, how they want to fix the world. They spend more time using their powers repairing damage in the city than they do fighting crime, because what good is saving the day if you leave the people to pick up your mess?

Name: Eliza Astra Samantha Danvers-Luthor

Gender: Female

General appearance: Spitting image of Lena. From head to heels. Much like her sibling, wears the kryptonite House of El bracelet.

Personality: Eliza is a puppy in a boardroom. She's all high energy and smiles. A little awkward but very determined. What is lying and how do you learn to do it? She's asking for a friend. Her ambition is high, even if her execution could sometimes take some work. She wears her heart on her sleeve and uses it to her advantage. She is the ultimate example of kill them with kindness.

Special Talents: All of Kara's superpowers. Ignoring those, singing.

Who they like better: What is having favorites? That's like choosing between potsticker flavors and how dare you not get all?

Who they take after more: Outside of looks? Kara.

Who carried: Lena

Personal headcanon: She takes over LCorp as an adult. Doesn't typically use her powers. Often uses LCorps resources to help Kieran repair the city.

Fc suggestions for a St.James sister?

If you want to go for something really interesting, I could see a plot where Harmony Pearce (played by Lindsay Pearce) is a St. James sister. The thought in my head is that their parents are both Dominants and split up while they were babies and split up the kids, deciding they didn't get along well enough to let the kids know each other. Traits I'm taking from Jesse for his sibling include his fantastic hair and eyes.

what fc could you see for Harmony? Lindsay Pearce has very limited resources but I love Harmony as a character.

⇒ CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY:

Harmony Pearce has been acting since she was in utero. Her mother submitted her ultrasound to be featured in an episode of Murder, She Wrote, earning the fetus her first acting role! In fact, CBS had inquired about using the ultrasound in a few more of their television series- they claimed her tiny body was the perfect shape and no other fetus could compare. 

When April 9th finally rolled around and welcomed a beautiful baby girl, she already had a resume full of screen work to use for future auditions. By the age of 14 months, Harmony landed the most prestigious role amongst toddlers all over the globe; the new Gerber baby. Her chubby, rosy cheeks and big blue eyes were showcased on commercials and glass jars all over America, even being banned in some small towns for being ’too adorable to be featured on television’ - or so she claims. 

Around the tender age of three years old, her father introduced her to his vinyl collection, which included every musical cast recording ever made. She quickly latched onto side A of “The Wizard of Oz” recording, so much so, that Harmony would beg her father to play ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ every evening after dinner on their white baby grand. The pair quickly came to the realization that she was born with a natural talent, and immediately signed her up for a talent show hosted by the local summer camp; which she won, and proudly displayed the big, engraved trophy in her bedroom. 

Many ballet, jazz, and vocal classes later, Harmony is enrolled as a student at William McKinley High School. After being home schooled with the help of a tutor, Harmony felt it was time for a big change - a real high school experience. Her parents insisted she attend a private school, but she decided public would look good for her ‘down-to-earth’ image when she’s presented a Tony Award and gives a speech reaching out to the theatre nerds across America who aren’t as fortunate as she. 

Harmony is looking forward to making a splash as a transfer student. With word of Rachel Berry being the Glee club star, she is looking forward to changing things up with a little friendly competition - after all, friendly is all you can be to your opponent when you know you’re the best.
