I hated the Senator the most. He was a nasty, hypocritical opportunist. At least the others were who they were, but Farrugia was the ultimate smarmy politician, and his behavior after the attack was abhorrent. It pisses me off there was never a takedown in canon, and you know, someday I need to write that lol

I hated Nash the most next. Maybe I should hate Bloom more because he clearly had more power and influence, but Nash had no redeeming qualities. Though... he did get his comeuppance in the story.

Bloom, I couldn't stand, but... I hated him most in Book 3, and we ignore so much of that. lol Bloom does not exist in my worlds outside of being a patient in Book 2.

Mario Benedetti Farrugia (Paso de los Toros, Tacuarembó; 14 de septiembre de 1920 - Montevideo, Uruguay; 17 de mayo de 2009) fue un escritor, poeta, dramaturgo y periodista uruguayo, integrante de la Generación del 45, a la que pertenecieron, entre otros, los también escritores Idea Vilariño y Juan Carlos Onetti.1​2​3​

Su prolífica producción literaria incluyó más de ochenta libros, algunos de los cuales fueron traducidos a más de veinte idiomas. En su testamento dejó creada la Fundación Mario Benedetti, para preservar su obra y apoyar la literatura y la lucha por los derechos humanos en Uruguay (en especial el esclarecimiento del paradero de los detenidos desaparecidos de ese país).
