I love that we all agree that having a tumblr post blow up is an inherently bad thing and yet PM Seymour content is literally a bunch of tumblr users on his discord server being like “show this to the entire internet 🥰” and then he does because they’re an absolute legend.

We’re all just out here ruining peoples lives. It’s awesome.

every time tumblr pulls some bullshit I get closer to trying to remember how my brain worked well enough to use lj so I can get back on dreamwidth in a more functional way

part of my issue is that the dw interface makes me feel more pressured to have Something To Say as opposed to the occasional shitposting I normally do

also I love the ability to curate my blog by sharing posts from others as I do here & afaik you can't really do the elsewhere

I'm open to suggestions for either how to rewire my brain to work on dw or what other place to go to get what I get from here

I want another place I can refer to like I refer to this blue faesite :/

I feel like the Goncharov boom going on must really be setting the tone for all the folks new from/returning to Tumblr from Twitter.

An idea is adopted with little rhyme or reason and those that exist in this place revolve it faster and faster in the collective sitemind, rarely actually acknowledging its origins and granting it just enough detail that it becomes capable of teetering on that precipice of reality. In a way it is as real as most phenomena with how it has stolen its legitimacy through repetition given voice by many mouths.

Perhaps you are fortunate, knowing of it beforehand or knowing enough of these grounds to glean understanding, but maybe you aren’t. Maybe you experience it all adrift and untethered, unable to find your footing beneath the mirrored surface for there is no truth to the concept to steady yourself upon. You witness it as you would a possibility of everything that you were never a part of.

You might try to search for the truth, but this site is hostile to being known in that way, presenting an illusion of a path that leads nowhere. External ingress is just as unhelpful; this place is hidden within a tangle, and thus you must hope it capriciously grants you the solace of knowing.

And maybe a couple weeks later the original post makes it way onto your feed, and that writing under the tongues of those shoes sets the world slightly less askew.

There's something so soothing about sitting outside on your back poarch just before the storm rolls in with it's distant thunder. Right before the birds start singing and th cars start driving by quickly like they do because you live just off a main road. Where you're outside in nothing but the clothes you put on to go to sleep in but you didnt actually sleep so you went outside. You're alone with your dog and your thoughts and although that is usually dangerous, the soft pitter patter of the rain falling around you as you watch the gray clouds swirl above you and you can only think about how often you wish you did this. It's so soft and comforting thatbyou forget all that's bothering you, everything bad in the world and its okay because its just you and your dog in the nice rain before the world wakes up and you have to live a life of anger, sadness, happiness and all the other emotions you have.

PUCK’S CRAB ADVENTURES

i have no idea what clicking the button “share the love” does because it hasn’t done anything when i’ve clicked it So today my beloved friend @riotsquirrrl​ gave me the gift of crabs!

Unfortunately I could not access this gift on mobile because tumblr is a very function website.

But I am home now! And in my browser I was finally able to push the button.

I was laughing very hard at this point, but I did manage to return to my dashboard and what did I see when I returned? Why, this sweet button to the left of my Home button!

I don’t really know what specific kind of Zelda stuff you’re looking for, but I really just scroll the tags and follow some creators I really like, like @/blueskittlesart and @/nell0-0 and a lot of other people who either made a cool art piece or said something funny and i liked it so i followed

it really depends on what kind of Zelda stuff you’re lookin for, but yeah I usually just refresh tags and look for new stuff every hour or so :)
