Dumb trope I have with one of my F/Os because they're nonhuman and I think this would be silly.

Nonhuman character who meets a human character, and despite having long ago learned their name, almost never refers to them as anything other than "human", "the human", ect. The one time they call their partner by their actual name is during their most heartfelt moments, so it's a cute moment of ":00 you said my name?"
