Ezrabine is one of my fav ships. Ik a lot of people only see them as “Space Siblings” but I can’t help but ship them. The way that Ezra had a HUGE crush on Sabine and then realized that maybe he should try being her friend instead, was cute because it paved the way for them to become so close. I think Sabine didn’t realize she had feelings for Ezra until she stayed on Krownest, and realized just how much she missed him.

Then when Ezra came to help with Saxon and getting her father back, just cemented her feelings. I do think tho that she decided not to tell him for fear of being rejected, and left like she had been so many times in her life. Ezra also didn’t say anything because of the fact that Sabine had told him many, many, MANY, times that she wasn’t interested and he didn’t want to make her uncomfortable again or get rejected for the millionth time.

When Kanan dies, things change. They are dealing with their grief and with consoling Hera, on top of still fighting for the rebellion. Even tho, they both know that time isn’t guaranteed, and that life is precious and to not wasted time with the people you love, there just wasn’t a time to tell each other and then it was too late and Ezra was gone.

The Ashoka series gave us soooo much hope, (and is STILL giving hope), with the way that Sabine, stayed in Ezra’s tower, wore his clothes, still kept his lightsaber, helped Lothal, dreamed of him, and waited TEN FUCKING YEARS for Ashoka to find a way to find him. Then, when presented with a choice of making sure that Thrawn has no way of coming back but potentially never seeing Ezra again or risk Thrawn coming back but seeing Ezra again, she chooses EZRA OVER STARTING ANOTHER WAR!!!!!!!! SHE IS SO IN LOVE WITH THIS MAN!!!!! I mean you don’t do all of those things for a SIBLING! (This coming from someone with a twin brother). Also Ezra never got over his crush, he just shoved it deep down, and without realizing it, it turned from a childish crush, to a real, deep, mature, mind-blowing love.

I REFUSE TO BELIEVE OTHERWISE DAVE

Even if Dave doesn’t make them end up in canon, they belong together in my heart, and so I will continue to ship and feel they belong together

OK DAVE!!!! YOU CANT STOP ME BITCH!!!!!
