Having NRPF can lead vulnerable people to sex work

Case study from ‘Making Change Happen: The impact of national policies on our clients’ lives… A report by Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network (LRMN)’, published March 2018

'Kaleisha* is a 25 year old woman from Barbados*. Kaleisha came to LRMN in 2016 asking for advice as she has NRPF and four children she struggles to support. When she came to us, Kaleisha had stopped working as her accommodation was one hour and a half from her work, and childcare expenses became unaffordable. As a result she accrued debts of thousands of pounds. She received no support from friends, and on a rare occasions borrowed money from her family. She also heavily relies on foodbanks such as LRMN to feed herself and her children. Kaleisha previously had access to Public Funds, but recently the Home Office decided to revoke that access in her most recent grant of leave and she must now quickly find a way to provide for her family. Kaleisha spoke to her adviser about having to resort to sex work in order to repay loans from her family, which added to her anxiety and mental health deterioration. Her dyslexia also means that she struggles to keep track of her finances and struggles to read documents provided by support agencies and GPs. Cases like Kaleisha’s highlight the need for more support for people with NRPF in reaching independence and meet their basic needs. Lack of a strong support network can lead vulnerable women to look elsewhere for money, and this can sometimes mean turning to prostitution.

( Part 11) It seems to me obvious, 'cause obvious reasons, Jon would never kneel at Cersei. Second: Dany owns two basic weapons to kill Extranees. Third: Jon already knows he has two enemies, Extranees in North and Cersei in South. He doesn't need to have a third enemy, militarily stronger than him, 'cause Dragons presence... Cersei is weaker and more controllable militarily than Dany...

We’re going to be pretty much at sea about D going dark even by the end of this season. It’s because, though she is obsessed with sitting on the iron throne and will start committing acts which can be classified under the ‘seemingly justified but also not’ category she will hopefully redeem herself by joining Jon in the fight against the others. This will obviously endear her in Jon’s eyes. 

The whole drama will actually begin in season 8 when Jonny boy will discover upon his arrival in winterfell, because Bran will tell only him about his parentage. Will this become public knowledge immediately? I don’t know only time will tell. But I can bet on anything that the Northerners will NOT accept D as their queen. Jon is the leader they chose and they will stand by him and only him. How will D react when she knows that Kitn is not just Kitn but the rightful King of the seven kingdoms? I can bet that it won’t be good. 

Sansa is not going to like D, nor support her claim to the throne, imo. I think we’re FINALLY definitely going to see some Dani related tension between Jon and Sansa next season. I don’t even think their second reunion is going to be epic. Not if Jon is going to bring D and her dragons to Winterfell. Plus I don’t know if Tyrion’s presence is going to all fuel to the fire. 

We’ll have to see how it all plays out in just six episodes next season!
