Malak is terrified as he sees what you’ve given him, absolutely assuming you’re going to put him in it. He’s only got very distant recollection of being put inside one before, but does know well that only bad boys get put in one, and he does not want that.

He shrinks up, curling in on himself and backing away, heart beating faster and faster as his eyes prick with tears. He bites his lip and hides his head, hopeful to forget it’s there. At some point he’s given a glimpse of himself inside one, and is so confused that he does in fact start bawling, messy and fussy.

Some people claimed to feel their bond like an invisible force. Something that pushed and pulled, waxed and waned, but it was always there. Always connecting them. 

Then there were some people who felt an even stronger connection with their soulmate. They claimed to communicate telepathically or by writing on their arms. 

Or they could see through their soulmate’s eyes.
