(I’m about to get mushy, so beware) Picking a quote from this series for my graduation cap was a no-brainer for me. This series has had an insane impact on my life, to the point where I genuinely don’t know where I’d be without it. From first picking Carry On up the week I turned 15, to having to physically restrain myself from reading WS in one sitting because it was my first hard week of college as a freshman, to reading AWTWB in one sitting the day it released despite being on a family vacation. From starting a sideblog, to making art and fics about it with my sister, and to looking through art or fics when I was having a panic attack to help me calm down. To the amazing community I’ve found online with the most talented and kind people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. My life has been fundamentally changed for the better because I decided to pick up Carry On in January 2016, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

four swords atla au. the four are all the avatar split up somehow for magic reasons and meet each other when they're called to do some world saving shit. shadow is the anti-avatar and can only do the specialty subversions of each bending style (bloodbending, lavabending, lightning generation, and that thing in lok where the airbender suffocated the earth queen). blue is a waterbender who does great with ice, you can figure out red's deal, green is an airbender, and vio is a metalbender. it writes itself tbh

#four swords #shadow being a lavabender is funny. considering. the volcano of it all #also vio would definitely tie his enemy's swords into knots and use metalbending for precision archery #red would use firebending for everything but combat #it would be so funnn

I don't think this counts but I did like using the Bomb Rune alot in BotW. And Bomb Flowers in TotK (I guess I just like blowing things up).

SkSw on the other hand I think it be the Beetle cause I recall using that one the most in my playthroughs

I think maybe a Rito. I really their designs in BotW/TotK. Plus flying sounds more fun & convenient to me.

this time last year i found a hatchet half-buried in the mud by the river. i rinsed it off with river water and hung it from a notch in the porch frame. i've tried to pass it on to others a few times but it doesn't seem to want to go anywhere. last sunday it fell off the notch, an object drawn from the accumulation of objects in my life for my special attention, the hatchet reversed. today i carried it down to the river and laid it back on the stretch of muddy bank where i found it

Still trying different things for my Red fandragon

#the brightest one - upper left - is closest to I actually draw his hair #but balancing that hair with his tunic/undershirt is hard enough when I have the entire RGB color space to choose from #it might be too much to ask from the more limited FR color wheel #I feel like its easier to get the colors harmonious in the ones with lower saturation #buuuut my other FS dragons are all pretty high-saturation and I don't want him to look out of place amongst them #I do like the fact that lower left has his primary color as Cinnamon - I've named that scry “Cinnamon Roll Red” ^_^ #currently leaning toward the one in the upper right as a good balance between saturation and color harmony #flight rising #kae plays flight rising #everything is four swords #red link
