28. Neck Kisses. Thank you so much! I'm really proud of how this turned out. Buck stress bakes and Eddie worries. (send me a kiss prompt) (send me a dialogue prompt)
It’s been almost three years since the tsunami, and for the most part, Buck has moved on. He can swim again, enjoys going to the beach (especially with Chris and Eddie), and he’s even gone to the renovated Santa Monica Pier a few times. But he’s had enough therapy to know that trauma never really goes away, not permanently anyway. So, he’s not surprised that when the anniversary approaches, the nightmares begin returning, and he tries not to let it wear on him. He talks to Dr. Copeland about it, of course, he’s not ignoring it. He just doesn’t want to make a big deal of it, doesn’t want anyone to worry about him, so he stops sleeping at the station, afraid of waking up screaming where everyone can hear.
Eddie knows, of course, because it’s impossible to hide nightmares from someone you share a bed with--and, God, isn’t that something? They’ve only been together a few months, but Buck is already halfway moved in and maybe they’re moving a little fast, but it’s only because it took them so long to get here. He loves that when he wakes up with his heart hammering in his chest, drenched in sweat, Eddie is there to hold him, to soothe him. Buck also loves that Christopher is just down the hall, that he can poke his head in and listen to his small snuffles and reassure himself that he’s there, he’s alive, he’s safe, before shuffling back to Eddie’s bed.
But as much as he wants to seek out Eddie’s comfort, as much as he relishes the feeling of being held tight and safe in his boyfriend’s arms, there’s a bigger part of him, the part of him that doesn’t let him fall asleep at the station, that is ashamed. He hates the thought of being a burden on Eddie, of keeping him from the sleep he needs, of worrying him over some silly dreams. On the nights those thoughts win, he doesn’t shuffle back to the bedroom after checking on Christopher. He heads to the kitchen instead, and bakes. He’s quiet, moving slowly so as not to cause a clatter, and stirring everything by hand instead of using a beater.
Baking has always been a source of stress relief for Buck. Ever since he was a teenager, and he tried his mother’s banana bread recipe for the first time. He likes using his hands to make something tangible that he can be proud of. The motions of measuring and stirring and whisking and pouring bring him out of his head and into his body, it makes him more aware. And at the end of it he has something delicious he can share with others in return for their affection and compliments. He can watch them smile as they bite into a cookie, soak up praise as they savor it. Even his parents had complimented his baking.
So, for the past couple of weeks, as the anniversary approached and the nightmares got worse and worse, Buck has been waking up in the middle of the night and baking. Blueberry muffins, cookies (snickerdoodles, peanut butter, and oatmeal raisin), banana bread, shortcake and cream for the last strawberries of the season...the list goes on. He brings the treats into the station, and preens as every last one disappears. He lights up when Hen claps him on the back and compliments his muffins or when Chimney double fists peanut butter cookies like a madman or when Eddie moans around a bite of a snickerdoodle and presses a kiss to his cheek in thanks.
(He’s sure Eddie knows it’s a coping mechanism, but he’s glad that Eddie hasn’t called him on it yet. He’s not ready for that conversation.)
Tonight, it’s two days from the anniversary of the tsunami. They have a shift in the morning, so when Buck jolts awake at 2 AM with Christopher’s name on his lips, he can’t bring himself to wake Eddie. He slides out of bed as quietly as he can, tiptoeing down the hall, first to Chris’s room, where he pauses for a moment, taking in the steady rise and fall of his chest, and then to the kitchen. He turns on only as many lights as he needs, leaving the kitchen somewhat dim.
He flips through one of his cookbooks, the one he stole from his mother when he moved out, looking for something to bake, eventually settling on a cake he faintly remembers from his childhood. Lazy Daisy Lemon Cake. It’s a summer cake, sweet and light and tangy from lemon zest, drizzled with a thin glaze. He preheats the oven and gets to work. It’s a simple recipe, but one with a fair amount of prep work involved. He grates and juices the lemons first, making sure he has enough for the recipe, then he sifts the dry ingredients (flour and baking powder) together. He finds his rhythm, and soon enough he’s lost in his movements, and the sensations of his nightmare (the water everywhere, salt burning his eyes, Christopher dragged away from him, under the waves, gone…) fade away.
He’s just put the cake in the oven and is starting on the glaze when hears footsteps behind him. Eddie wraps his arms around Buck’s waist, and rests his head on Buck’s shoulder. His voice is rough with sleep when he whispers in Buck’s ear. “What are you doing?”
“Baking,” Buck whispers back.
Eddie frowns. “Another nightmare?”
Buck nods. “I’m sorry I woke you.”
“None of that,” Eddie shakes his head, still against Buck’s shoulder. “I would much rather you wake me up then try to deal with this on your own, okay? We’re in this together.”
Buck knows that, he does. But sometimes he doesn’t believe it. “I love you,” is all he can say in response.
Eddie presses a kiss to the base of his neck in response, then follows it with another and another, slowly making his way up Buck’s neck until he reaches his jaw. “I love you too.”
Buck hums softly, and turns around to wrap his arms around Eddie and kiss him on the lips, glaze all but forgotten.
“What are you baking?” Eddie asks, when they pull apart.
“Lemon cake.”
“How long until it comes out of the oven?”
“About half an hour.”
“Okay.” Eddie yawns. “Once it’s done, you’re coming back to bed.”
“I--” Because Buck is used to just staying up all the way until morning when he gets like this. Because it’s 3 AM now, and the cake won’t be done until nearly 4 AM, and they have to be up at 6:30 to get Christopher ready for school, and those two hours hardly seem worth it when he can have coffee and breakfast ready early instead. Besides, he doesn’t want to wake Eddie again.
Eddie, of course, seems to read his mind. He takes Buck’s hands in his and squeezes, grounding him. “You need all the sleep you can get, if you’re not going to sleep on shift. Sleep deprivation is a bad time for anyone, but especially a first responder, you know that.”
Buck sighs. “I know.”
“You don’t need to be worrying about me,” Eddie continues. “Let me worry about you, let me take care of you.”
Buck’s exhausted mind wants to throw a tantrum. He shouldn’t have to do that. He deserves someone less broken. You’re such a--
“You’re not a burden, Evan.” Eddie’s words cut right through every thought that’s racing through his mind. “You never have been, and you never will be. Not to me, and not to the rest of our family.”
Buck doesn’t bother holding back his tears. “Okay. I’ll come back to bed when this is done.”
“You better.” Eddie smiles, and his voice is lighter now, teasing. “It’s cold in there without my personal radiator.”

Stray Kid’s Cafes || OT8
Tumblr media
Summary || Stray kids if they were to own cafes!
Genre || Fluffff
Word Count || 1.7k
Note || I wrote this at 2am. (And nervous as hell to post this) I thought it was a cute idea (cause my love fore cafes u know & longing to go to one but covid-) buuuuut... if you think it’s written poorly, my excuse: my half awaken mind and questioning sleep schedule. It’s also because I’m used to writing formally rather than this. Enjoy though ヽ(ヅ)ノ
⤑Bang Chan
Inside/Theme: Dark, moody, and very spacious. Plants in macrame and outlets everywhere. Grey concrete tables with chairs of dark wood and black iron. Either lofi or jazz plays in the background. Flooring patched with large black and white honeycomb tiles. Wood of deep and mysterious browns are made for walls. Glass pendants dangle from above. Perfect for relaxing or studying. Even more perfect to visit on rainy days.
Hours: 9am - 2am
Menu: Cinnamon rolls, espresso, frappes, omelets, sandwiches, croissants (plain or chocolate), salads, raspberry scones, hot chocolate
It’s like your presence just sparked something in Chan. You were a frequent customer, so not only Chan, but other employees recognize you. It just so happened that this day was the day Chan felt braver than others. When you went up to the counter and ordered a hot latte, it was the beginning of an endless exchangement of (cringey) pickup lines. And they were all based on coffee... “If you were coffee grounds, you'd be espresso 'cause you're so fine.” (oh dear god-) The both of you realizing you don’t have all the time in the world, you finish your order but Chan refuses you to pay with money. “Giving me your number sounds like a fairer trade.” And also, starting from this day, would always be some  note or saying written on the cup sleeve of your coffee.
⤑Minho
Inside/Theme: Cat Cafe! Small white stools and square tables. Windows as the walls with window sills where cats sleep. Cat toys scattered everywhere. Mini houses with beds and staircases hung on the walls. Like an indoor cat community. In the center is a giant wooden structure in the shape of a tree for cats to climb. Each one has a name. You receive a free slice of cake if you remember each cat’s name. 50% of the treats on display are just for the cats. (And of course, every cat there is up for adoption!!)
Hours: 8am - 10pm
Menu: Shortcakes, blueberry muffins, fruit sandwiches, cookies, lattes (with latte art of cats ofc), mochas, bagels, banana bread.
Scenario || You find a cat wandering the streets and get a hold of it, calling the number displayed on its tags. You eventually return it to the cafe. As a thank you, Minho freely gives you a treat off the menu and a free session with the cats. You two make time fly with endless conversations of your guys love for cats and his opinion on why cats should rule over humans and the entire world. When you're at home later that night, it’s 2am. Turns out Minho saved your number when you called for the loose cat earlier because he sent you photos of his own 3 cats. Many photos. And one with him and a funny/weird filter.
⤑Changbin
Inside/Theme || Open and welcoming, very convenient. A cafe kiosk placed in a park, sheltered by the tall swaying trees and surrounded by the small patches of blossoms. The kiosk is made of tan wood, outlined and roofed with black. The cafe space has a stretched out wooden platform next to it. Above is a wooden frame wrapped in string lighting. Iron benches and long tables. The experience is even more enjoyable during spring.
Hours || 9am - 11pm
Menu || Iced tea, matcha crepe cakes, sandwiches, mocha bread rolls, raspberry lemonade, cappuccinos, ice cream (of many flavors).
Scenario || You should’ve known it was going to rain today. It’s like the huge grey clouds were trying to warn you through the whole morning. Before the pour, though, you strolled through the park and saw the cafe kiosk and let me tell you, those mocha bread rolls sounded good (especially on a chilly day). While sitting on the benches next to the cafe enjoying the mocha rolls, you feel the sky spitting on you and it only gets more aggressive. You look around and see everyone has an umbrella. Except you. Changbin invites you to wait out the rain inside his cafe kiosk (which you gladly accept). He also notices your joy from the mocha bread rolls and decides to show you how he makes it. It was messy (since your lack of baking skills were definitely no help), but fun for the both of you.
⤑Hyunjin
Inside/Theme || A neat and cozy atmosphere dipped in traveling dreams. Walls displayed with plants draping to its heart content and photos of sceneries and dogs (which Hyunjin gladly took and displayed himself). Low tables painted with faint hues of grey, placed against the walls. Linen lounges and small glass vases of baby breaths. Large windows with window sills lined with fuzzy pillows. Towards the back, a small staircase leading to a wooden platform holding up bookshelves.
Hours || 10am - 12am
Menu || Americanos, strawberry crepe cakes, savory crepes, honey toast, fruit tarts, fresh strawberry milk, paninis, strawberry mousse.
Scenario ||  You’re roaming the section where the bookshelves are. Hands drifting across the aligned books and head pondering what to read. You look next to your side, taking note of Hyunjin suddenly talking to you. He asks about your favorite genres to read. He also recommends you some of his favorite literature (which you eventually discover that majority of them are poems/stories of romance) and says it be fun to read them together, along with his treat of fresh strawberry milk. Reading sessions and strawberry milk became a weekly routine for the two of you.
⤑Jisung
Inside/Theme || Shelves of pastries for you to grab and put on a tray. Filled with an aroma of sweet coffee. Simple tables and benches made of deep browns. White counters tiled with a large honeycomb pattern. Walls are of a light grey. Next to windows are woven hanging chairs with cute cartoon animal characters. On the counter is a jar of stick props for photos ‘cause why not.
Hours || 9:30am - 10pm
Menu || Cheesecake (of many different flavors), chocolate cake, iced americanos, croissants, cake rolls, custard bread, cream puffs, egg tarts, tirimisu.
Scenario || You ordered a few slices of cheesecakes after asking Jisung which ones he recommended. It was quite obvious he loved cheesecake more than anything and of course you couldn’t order just one flavor! Along with the few cheesecakes, You also ordered an americano. After receiving your drink (and cheesecake), you found a small note taped on the cup: “If you want more cheesecake suggestions, ask me anytime!” Below was a doodle of a squirrel and his phone number. AND maybe... just maybe... You take a photo of your cheesecakes to show your friend and Jisung ends up photobombing half of the photos you took (with some of the props from the counter). And of course you don’t notice until your friend starts spamming you about the guy in the background.
⤑Felix
Inside/Theme || A video game cafe, sells mainly bubble tea. Very homey with couches and bean bag chairs. A few TVs hooked up to the Switch. Simple patterned rugs and walls of a faint blue. Cute cartoon stickers displayed on walls and concrete counters. White shelves of board games.
Hours || 8am - 11:30pm
Menu || Bubble tea, brownies, cookies (of many kinds), bubble waffles, banana pudding, toast (sweet & savory), pancakes.
Scenario || You enter the cafe when it’s empty. You order a treat of your choice and make your way to play the Switch. With no other customer around, Felix decides it won’t hurt to take an extra break and play with you. (To beat you in a game or more of Super Smash Bros to be specific.) 1 game turned into countless that you both even lost track of your scores. And perhaps he got too distracted and almost missed the growing line waiting at the counter. But! Weekly video game tournaments between the two of you became something to look forward to. And maybe the two of you decided to play UNO one day and boy did the game put the two of you in a pit of raging hell.
⤑Seungmin
Inside/Theme ||  A comforting, more on the minimalistic side cafe. White brick walls, light grey flooring, and high beamed ceilings. Black pendant lights hanging, painting the cafe in light hues of honey. Long high tables with tall iron stools. Small potted succulents aligned on the table. White marble counters and pastries displayed in glass cake stands.
Hours || 7:30am - 10:30pm
Menu || Lattes, croissant sandwiches, chocolate mousse dogs, crepes (sweet and savory), lemon poundcake, biscuits with peach jam, homemade soups.
Scenario || Lets just say your day has been extremely hectic. For a cure, a treat from your favorite cafe sounds like a good plan. Though, you end up entering the cafe five minutes after closing hours. Great. Seungmin, who is inside cleaning up one of the tables, notices (and also recognizes you’re the frequent customer he has gotten to be friends with over his shifts). He unlocks the door and happily lets you stay after hours. You have latte (which Seungmin actually draws a happy face on the cream) and a chocolate mousse dog while chatting with Seungmin. Thanks to Seungmin’s constant invitations, late orders and chats ended up becoming regular.
⤑Jeongin
Inside/Theme || Low platform seating and low round tables. Small jars of fairy lights and daisies. Background music is either lofi or indie. Walls of a comforting dark green and floors of dark wood. Framed cute doodles and warm signs decorate the walls. High ceilings with gold lamps hanging.
Hours || 7:30am - 9pm
Menu || Milk bread, milkshakes, taiyaki (with different fillings), taro crepe cakes, fruit tea with popping boba, soufflé pancakes.
Scenario || You know that broken or no internet connection running dinosaur game (if not look it up and it’ll literally change ur life.)? Well, you brought your laptop to study but surely a game or two won’t be a big deal. And maybe playing also lended time to mentally prepare yourself just to ask for the wifi password. When Jeongin came to serve your cake order (a taro crepe cake or any crepe cake is a must try in life), he places the plate next to you and begins to speak as he notices your screen (where you keep running into pterodactyls and failing). And no, he wasn’t giving you the wifi password. “Can I try?” Beating each other’s high scores, still no wifi, and chatting. That’s how the rest of the afternoon went. (With Jeongin taking a break every now and then to help the customers of course.)

Sam stood proudly as he surveyed the new sign going up. “Fresh Baked & Awesome” was going to be the best café/bakery this town had ever seen. And his would be the first bakery in the small settlement, so it was potentially going to be a huge deal. He’d already sent out coupons and flyers for opening day specials. People had already been coming by to see if it was open for business.
“Looks great Sammy.” Dean commented from behind. Sam turned to his older brother. Dean had a huge grin. “Nervous?”
“Ha, never. You?”
“Nope.”
While the two brothers and their friends had pooled together to get this bakery open, it was originally Sam’s idea, which made Sam manager by default. No one could deny the natural ability to lead and delegate chores and jobs. Sam just had a way with people in general.
YN was inside putting the finishing touches on the kitchen organization. She had labeled absolutely everything, and made sure the health inspectors found nothing but a clean, well maintained cooking area. All her ingredients and storage were pristine both in capability and in cleanliness. Fridge and freezer met the same criteria. Everyone had aprons and hair nets, including the guys. YN, being the head baker, would spend the majority of her time in the back, baking and decorating, but would also tend the front if needed.
Dean and Castiel would be the main front counter personnel. They were in charge of the tills, the coffee machines, soda fountain machines, and the display area. If something needed to be restocked, or if they were out completely, they were to notify YN, who would have frozen, ready to bake items standing ready to pull.
The menu board, a chalkboard style with colorful displays, was ready, listing prices for muffins, pastries, cakes, cookies, special order cakes, coffee (regular and specialty), cannoli, tarts, pies, soft drinks, cinnamon rolls, breads, and macarons.
The four friends had each pledged one menu item as their specialty, they were all fantastic cooks, and prided themselves on their work. Sam’s addition was the tarts, he loved all kinds, especially lemon. Castiel was a natural with macarons, no one knew how he did it really, but damn, they were amazing. Dean, of course, was the pie master, as he dubbed himself, having been a fanatic of the round dessert for what seemed like ever. YN, although good at everything on the menu, had a particular fondness for cookies, and had already begun baking batches for the morning.
The bakery would be open daily from 7am to 9pm. Tomorrow morning would be day 1. The four friends called it a night around 11pm, knowing they would have to be here early for baking. The boys would be helping bake the first day, so everyone was to show up at 5am.
The floor above the bakery served as the living quarters for the four friends. There were four separate bedrooms, and a shared living/dining space. The renovations for the entire building took 6 months to complete, the friends doing most of the work themselves, and with some quality equipment from Bobby’s Business Equipment, and some occasional volunteer help from Dean and Sam’s Dad. They worked hard, making sure the entire building was the very definition of perfection, every crevice, every nook, every cupboard.
Dean couldn’t sleep, wandering into YN’s room as he sometimes did, seeking the one thing that would help him sleep, mind-blowing sex. It was a friends with benefits thing. Sometimes Sam sought the same solace, but he wasn’t the restless one tonight. Dean removed his clothes, crawling in to join YN, who began removing her tank and shorts when she heard him enter. His mouth found hers as he moved his body to cover hers, kneeing her legs apart and sliding his cock into the warm, wet heat.
The alarm rang at 4:00am, and the four friends dragged their asses to the showers. There were two showers, so they took turns, sometimes Sam or Dean would join YN to save time. This morning, YN snuck in to join Sam, who had somehow managed to beat her to her favorite bathroom. He grinned as she stepped into the shower behind him, and he turned to her, pushing her against the wall in a heated exchange of need. She didn’t mind being their fuck buddy, and neither of the brothers minded that she was one to both of them.
Cas was the last to shower and dress, Dean having beaten him to the other shower. YN went down to start prep for the baking, turning on the ovens, making a list of all the goodies that would need to be out by opening, including the croissants, bagels and the cinnamon rolls. The coffee machines were turned on and warming up as well. Dean prepped the till before joining the others in the back, and set to work on the pies. Today’s opening day specials were cherry, apple and blueberry. All the ingredients were homemade, even the fillings. Sam worked on getting muffins ready, focussing on carrot, blueberry, chocolate chip and banana, and raisin bran. Castiel worked on cinnamon rolls, then moved to macarons. YN, being YN, baked cookies, then cakes to decorate later.
Half an hour before opening, the whole building smelled wonderful, the mixture of baked goods providing a tantalizing aroma for the 7 am opening. Crowds had already formed outside, lining up to check out the new bakery. When the door was officially unlocked at 7:00 am on the dot, the display counter sported all sorts of fresh goods, assorted bagel flavors, croissants, muffins, donuts, cinnamon buns, some still warm, and all mouth-watering. Coffee had been made, and the tills were busy right from the first moment.
Sam and YN both helped with front counter, getting orders ready while Cas and Dean took orders and payment. By the end of the first hour, YN had to go to the back to bake more goods. The dozens the four friends had made in the morning were almost depleted. The biggest surprises were the amounts of cookies that were being bought this early, and the cake orders.
By the end of the first day, after expenses, the bakery had pulled a huge profit, more than they’d originally estimated. Word spread like wildfire to neighbouring towns, and business was booming by the end of the first week.
Four exhausted friends sat at one of the tables after closing Saturday night, and toasted their success. Sam stood, beer in hand, “To the best opening week ever. None of us could have predicted the business succeeding our wildest expectations. To the three of you, without whom I would never have been able to pull this off.”
YN, Dean and Cas stood, each sporting beers as well. “We want to toast you Sam, without your vision and leadership, this would never have become reality.”
Sam blushed. “To us.”
“To us!” the four friends cheered together, clinking bottles and chugging back a swallow. They finished cleaning up and went upstairs.
Sam followed YN to her room, closing the door behind him. He had spent the night there since opening day, and while she didn’t mind, she was beginning to wonder why the sudden change.
“YN? Can we talk?” It was as if he’d read her mind. She turned to him, and gestured to the bed so they could sit. “I want to thank you for putting in all the extra hours in the kitchen, first of all. I know you’ve been getting up super early to put extra ready-to-bake goods in the freezer so we don’t run out.”
YN shook her head. “I’m the head baker, it’s kinda my job. You don’t have to thank me.”
Sam didn’t let her finish. “I love you.”
YN felt her jaw hit the floor. She wasn’t sure she’d heard him correctly. “What?”
He moved closer to cup her face in his hands, then he pulled her close to place a soft kiss on her lips. “I love you YN.” He saw the hesitation and mild confusion in her eyes. “I don’t know when the feelings changed. But watching you this week, every time you smile, every time you greet me or Dean or Cas, every time you talk to a customer, every thing you do, you do it with a grace and gentleness I can only dream about. Your laugh is infectious and your eyes are like bright emeralds. I can’t imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else.”
Her heart leapt to her throat, and her stomach did flip flops. Fuck! And even more surprising was her response to his words. She realized she felt the same way. “I love you to Sammy.”
He brought their lips together once more, but it was different this time, it wasn’t a friends with benefits thing anymore. His touch, his entire demeanor, changed. He pulled back to dig into his back pocket. “I want you to marry me, be my wife, my partner, and my life.” He opened a small velvet box, revealing to her a stunning, vibrant, diamond ring with garnets accenting the center stone, and set on a 24 karat rose gold band.
Tears pooled in her eyes. “Yes.” She said as she extended her hand so he could place the ring on it. He lowered her to the bed, and they made love that night.
~~
Cas was super happy for the couple when they announced the news the next morning. Dean was happy too, although he sported a hint of jealousy. Cas watched his friend smile and congratulate his brother, but also saw the sadness behind the joy. His heart ached. Cas had a major crush on Dean, but had never told anyone. He knew Dean didn’t see him like that, or he assumed it, since Dean was known to seek the company of females, even YN.
Two days after Sam and YN had announced their engagement, Cas asked Dean to go for a drink with him. At the bar, they sat and talked, laughed, and it felt good to see Dean smiling again by the end of the evening. They walked home and hugged before going to their separate rooms.
After a week and a half of just drinks, Cas asked Dean to have dinner with him. Dean didn’t think much of it, but he was happy to spend more time with Cas. He loved the easy going nature Cas displayed, his ability to take any situation and turn it into joy and laughter. Dean also was in love with his beautiful blue eyes, the ones that shined like sapphires under the moonlight.
Dean was in love with Cas, and had no idea.
The restaurant had a special candle lit table prepared for the two men as they entered. A bottle of fruity red wine sat in a bucket of ice. Dinner was already ordered and was served shortly after arriving. Dean hummed in appreciation at the perfect rare steak with mashed potatoes, gravy, and mixed vegetables. The waiter poured the wine, which complimented the meal perfectly. Dean and Cas both stole glances at the other, neither sure if they wanted to make the first move at conversation.
Finally, it was Dean who spoke, although the dinner had been Cas’s idea. “This was a beautiful surprise Cas. I loved it.” He paused, biting the inside of his cheek. He’d never said this before to another man, so the whole experience was very new to him. “And I’m falling in love with you.”
Cas simply stared at Dean, speechless. It took all of two seconds for Cas to leap off the chair and pull Dean up so he could claim his lips. Dean responded, his arms wrapping around Cas, pulling him closer. Cas whispered in Dean’s ear. “Home, now!”
They threw money on the table for the waiter, who was smiling at the romantic scene before him, and couldn’t get home fast enough. The two stumbled on the stairs, kissing and fighting to get each other’s coats off. They went to the shower first, stripping down and getting under the steamy spray. Dean knelt down and stroked Cas’s length, already hard from their kissing, and took him in his mouth. Cas groaned at the sensations that washed over him, grabbing Dean’s hair and fucking his perfect mouth. “Dean!” he cried, shooting cum down his throat. Dean swallowed, licking off the excess and then coming to kiss Cas. They finished in the shower, drying off at super speed, eager to get to the bedroom.
Cas’s room was closest, so they stopped there, Cas pushing Dean to the bed. “Fuck me.” He ordered.
Dean made a noise that sounded like a whimper, scrambling to obey his lover. He pushed Cas to the mattress, found a jar of lube on the bedside table, and generously greased both his aching cock, and Cas’s tight sphincter. Then he was pushing in, both men growling at the pain and pleasure as it mixed, swirled in them, then Dean bottomed out and the lovers sighed. Bliss was the best word they could think of for the whirlwind of new sensations that was overwhelming them.
Dean pulled back and went in again, pushing the other man further into the soft bed. “Harder!” Cas exclaimed. Dean grabbed his hips then, and began to fuck him faster, pounding into the tight ass hole with lustful need. Dean’s cries echoed off the walls as he came inside Cas, semen pouring out from the hole as it pumped into him.
Cas went and grabbed a cloth, washing Dean off thoroughly, then drying him off. Then he pushed Dean down to his knees. “Open your mouth again Dean.”
Dean eagerly complied, his mouth opening wide, ready to take Cas once more. He ran his tongue along the impressive length that was Cas, musk and salt and sweat mixing together as he grabbed his hips to steady himself. Cas grabbed fistfuls of hair, making sure Dean didn’t go anywhere while he fucked his mouth. He pounded hard, thrusting in as far as he could, Dean struggling to take it without gagging.
Cas felt powerful as he made Dean his bitch, fucking his face and making him swallow every single drop. Dean had no complaints. He loved Cas’s assertive nature, his dominance of him, the way he ordered him around the bedroom. Cas cried Dean’s name once more as he shot cum down his throat again, Dean making sure he took every single damn drop.
~~
One month after opening day, Cas and Dean announced their official status as a couple. Sam and YN hugged them both, thrilled they’d found each other. The restaurant itself had gotten so much attention, customers, and good press, that they decided to open a second bakery in the neighbouring town, 20 minutes away. Cas and Dean would manage the new location once built, and Sam and YN would stay to manage the other.
The first month had brought in enough revenue to pay back any loans they’d taken out, pay their salaries, and put down money for the new building. Even then there was still some left over. YN planned to make some extra frozen goods to get the second bakery up and running once it was finished. The boys worked day and night to get the new place up and running, even hiring some staff at both locations to help with customers.
The opening day of the second bakery/café, the four friends were there together, celebrating, John, Bobby, Charlie, Ellen, Jo, Garth, all their friends came as well. Loud cheers erupted from the large group when YN took off her coat to reveal a new tee shirt, sporting the following: FRESH BAKING IN THE OVEN. Banana Olive Oil Cake + Toffee Sauce
I’m serious. Make this cake asap, you wont regret it!!
Coming from a girl who hates bananas, I’m telling you that this is one of my favorite cakes that I’ve made and seeing as it’s topped with whole banana slices (well halves, but whatev), that’s saying something.
It’s simple to make, uses ingredients that almost everyone always has on hand, and it’s flavor and texture are unreeeeeeal.
This is called an olive oil cake but the olive oil flavor is very subtle. You could use melted coconut oil or vegetable oil in it’s place. I love using olive oil in cakes. As long as you don’t use extra virgin and the cake doesn’t call for heaps of oil, you won’t even notice it.
One nice thing about this cake? Your bananas don’t need to be super ripe. I find that though super ripe bananas can lend a lot of sweetness to your baked goods, they also add a lot of heavy banana flavor. I used bananas that were nice and yellow, but not brown at all yet and they were perfect. The cake is definitely banana based but not overpowering at all.
NO banana mashing is required for this cake, either. I like to blend up the wet ingredients in a blender, then add the bananas and process them until they are broken down but not completely smooth. Then the mixture can be poured in with the dry ingredients and mixed together. Try something like this if you are looking for a stronger flavored olive oil cake!
A little warning to the waste-wise: When preparing the bananas for the top of the cake you will be left with about 8 banana quarters (to keep the banana slices going in the same direction you need more bananas than can actually be used in the cake). The extra bananas will have a flour coating on the bottom. Just throw them into a container and freeze them. They’ll still work great for a future loaf of banana bread.
I was surprised to find when I first tried this cake that the bananas on top were actually incredibly delicious. Lemon juice is brushed over the top of them before they are baked so that they don’t turn brown and that acid gives the cake a little tart pop that is so nice with the sweet.
I’m not going to lie, the best part of this cake is the toffee sauce. I mean, the cake by itself is delicious, yes, but TOFFEE SAUCE. Sprinkled with a little coarse sea salt. I don’t think I need to say more.
This recipe could also be turned into muffins (just reduce the sugar a little), or go with this recipe if you’re into white chocolate 😉
Out of olive oil but still want banana cake? This one’s for you.
Banana Olive Oil Cake + Toffee Sauce
Ingredients
FOR THE CAKE:
½ cup Olive Oil (not extra virgin)
3 large Eggs
1¼ cups Light Brown Sugar
2 teaspoons Vanilla
3 medium-sized Bananas, (ripe, but they don't need to be brown)
1½ cups All-purpose Flour
½ teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Ground Cardamom
extra flour
4 large Bananas (these don't need to be super ripe)
1 Lemon
FOR THE TOFFEE SAUCE:
½ cup (1 stick) Salted Butter
⅔ cup Brown Sugar
½ cup Heavy Cream or Full Fat Coconut Milk
Coarse Sea Salt
Instructions
FOR THE CAKE:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a deep-sided 9" round baking pan.
Place the oil, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla in a blender and process until smooth. Add three of the bananas and process until there are no large chunks of bananas left, yet the mixture is still slightly lumpy. Pour the banana mixture into a large mixing bowl.
In a smaller mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, and cardamom.
Add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and whisk together until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Add about ½ cup of flour to a shallow bowl. Peel the 4 large bananas. Toss the bananas in the flour gently, so that they are fully coated. Using a sharp knife, slice the bananas in half, then slice each half horizontally. You should have 8 slices of banana that curve one way and 8 that curve the other. Take 8 of the banana slices that all curve in the same direction and place them carefully on top of the batter, cut side up, so that they form a wheel of sorts (see photos of cake). Squeeze a little lemon juice on the cut side of each banana and spread across the surface with your finger - this will stop if from browning unpleasantly.
Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a tester inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Let the cake cool for 30 minutes in the pan. Invert onto a serving platter. Top with toffee sauce sprinkle with a little chunky sea salt, and serve (spoon a little extra sauce over the slices of cake).
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Toffee sauce should be stored in the refrigerator.
FOR THE TOFFEE SAUCE:
Place the butter and brown sugar in a saucepan. Heat over low, stirring occasionally, until the butter is melted and the sugar is dissolved.
Bring the heat up to medium high. Cook the mixture at a boil for a few minutes, or until it begins to turn a deep amber color. As soon as the mixture darkens, pour in the cream. Mixture will sputter and seize. Continue to cook until the mixture becomes smooth and silky.
Remove from heat.
Let cool.
Pour over slices of banana cake.
Store in the fridge in an airtight container. Reheat as needed.

7 Day Healthy Meal Plan (June 29-July 5)
posted June 27, 2020 by Gina
A free 7-day, flexible weight loss meal plan including breakfast, lunch and dinner and a shopping list. All recipes include calories and updated WW Smart Points.
7-Day Healthy Meal Plan
I can’t believe it is almost July 4th!! In this week’s meal plan you will notice that there is more meat (beef) for the weekend than I usually include. This is for those that might be BBQ-ing for the holiday and serving a small crowd. If meat is too expensive or hard to find, you can swap it for chicken or fish. You can also check my recipes under the July 4th holiday tab. I have also included interchangeable meals for both Saturday and Sunday lunch and dinner meals so you can pick and choose or move things around to work for your schedule. Have a safe and happy 4th!
Why Should Everyone Meal Plan?
Meal planning is a great way to organize your meals for the week ahead. You also save time and money in the supermarket! And of course, planning ahead helps you stick to your goals!
About The Meal Plan
If you’re new to my meal plans, I’ve been sharing these free, 7-day flexible healthy meal plans (you can see my previous meal plans here) that are meant as a guide, with plenty of wiggle room for you to add more food, coffee, beverages, fruits, snacks, dessert, wine, etc or swap recipes out for meals you prefer, you can search for recipes by course in the index. You should aim for around 1500 calories* per day.
There’s also a precise, organized grocery list that will make grocery shopping so much easier and much less stressful. Save you money and time. You’ll dine out less often, waste less food and you’ll have everything you need on hand to help keep you on track.
Lastly, if you’re on Facebook join my Skinnytaste Facebook Community where everyone’s sharing photos of recipes they are making, you can join here. I’m loving all the ideas everyone’s sharing! If you wish to get on the email list, you can subscribe here so you never miss a meal plan!
Also, if you don’t have the Skinnytaste Meal Planner, now would be a great time to get one to get organized for 2020! There was a print error last year, but it’s perfect now! You can order it here!

THE DETAILS:
Breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday, are designed to serve 1 while dinners and all meals on Saturday and Sunday are designed to serve a family of 4. Some recipes make enough leftovers for two nights or lunch the next day. While we truly believe there is no one size fits all meal plan, we did our best to come up with something that appeals to a wide range of individuals. Everything is Weight Watchers friendly, I included the updated WW Blue SP for your convenience, feel free to swap out any recipes you wish or just use this for inspiration!
The grocery list is comprehensive and includes everything you need to make all meals on the plan. I’ve even included brand recommendations of products I love and use often. Cross check your cabinets because many condiments you’ll notice I use often, so you may already have a lot of them.
And last, but certainly not least, this meal plan is flexible and realistic. There’s plenty of wiggle room for cocktails, healthy snacks, dessert and dinner out. And if necessary, you can move some things around to make it work with your schedule. Please let me know if you’re using these plans, this will help me decide if I should continue sharing them!

Lose Weight Without Starving: 80 Weight Watchers Recipes (With Points!)
For the last couple of months, I have actually been taking part in an on the internet nourishment program with a couple of various other gals, and I have actually been enjoying it. The teacher sends a brand-new routine at the beginning of each week as well as then opens a dialogue with the team members by means of an exclusive Facebook group, where we discuss the various strategies and also techniques she's given us with. It's a really casual team, and also despite the fact that I've never really met any of the various other females personally, we've created an excellent bond as we urge each other in our individual weight reduction, health, and fitness goals.
One woman particularly has been really helpful to everyone in the team. Mary is an older female with many remarkable stories she suches as to discuss, as well as though we frequently joke regarding just how brutally honest she is when she takes among us to job, she has a present for encouraging individuals to look deep within themselves and also change their lives right, and also she does it the most honest and non-judgemental way.
It's fabulous.
I've discovered a lot from Mary in such a short time, and also her fat burning tale has truly motivated me. She was very obese for a lot of her grown-up life, in spite of attempting every solitary crash diet on the market, and also while she commonly saw short-term outcomes, she constantly placed the weight back on within a number of months.
And sometimes she placed on EVEN MORE weight.
But after that eventually her little girl tested her to attempt the Weight Watchers diet with her, as well as the rest, as Mary spokens, is history.
To day, she's shed over 80 pounds, and also when I asked her why this diet regimen has functioned a lot far better than all of the other ones she's tried throughout the years, she said it's since she still has the flexibility to eat so many of the foods she enjoys, so she never ever really feels as though she's missing out on out.
So, as a thanks to Mary and all of the assistance she has supplied me and also my gals over the last couple of months, I made a decision to collect with each other as lots of Weight Watchers recipes as I could possibly find.
This collection of Weight Watchers recipes with factors has every little thing you require to adhere to your day-to-day allocation without sensation as though you're losing out. It's full of wonderful morning meal recipes to kickstart your day, treat recipes to maintain your energy levels up throughout the afternoon depression, family-friendly dinner dishes that are very easy to whip together, as well as several of the most delicious treat recipes I've ever before laid my eyes on.
Who claims you can't reduce weight without depriving?!
And if you are looking for great Weight Watchers recipe publication suggestions, an additional buddy of mine VERY suggests Weight Watchers Family members Foods: 250 Recipes for Bringing Family members, Pals, as well as Food With each other (her youngsters ENJOY the recipes in this publication), Weight Watchers One Pot Recipe book (fantastic for lazy nights when you can't be bothered to cook something complicated), Weight Watchers Cook it Rapid: 250 Recipes in 15, 20, 30 Minutes (her outright favorite recipe book of all time).
