Alphabet Prompt: Benjamin Tallmadge

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

I’d say a solid 7/10. Affectionate in private, but by that means he’s still a bit hesitant in his actions. Regarding how he shows it, he does it in smaller actions, maybe an arm around your shoulders while walking or while on the couch. He loves it when you initiate acts, because he feels as if he’s on cloud nine.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Ben is the ultimate best friend. Loyal, understanding, quite the sense of humor-he’s got everything you seek out in a friendship. The friendship would start maybe over a mutual friend, or through a shared job? Or maybe in a class where you both don’t know anyone.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

UH-HUH. Ben really enjoys it, but would never say it out loud. Imagine his sassy ass walking into the room and just standing there. And you’re like “…hi Ben.” And he just opens his arms, and you know what that means without him having to say anything.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Yes. He does, tremendously. He enjoys domestic life and craves it when he’s at work and away from you. Ben would run home if it meant he would be back in time for dinner, not wanting you to have to wait an ounce of time for him.

Ben appreciates a clean space. His side of the room may appear on the surface as clean, but when he gets into his groove books, pens, and papers are known to accumulate.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

In person, and with his entire heart on his sleeve. He’d probably cry, too. [🥺]. It would really take something explosive and upsetting to get him to want to end things. He’s loyal, but not enough to a fault-he’d know when it was time to end things.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Oh? Probably right when he trusts his gut. He’ll know the exact moment when he decided that he was hopelessly in love with you, and it would always get him with butterflies in his stomach.

I wouldn’t say he’d be ready to drop to one knee right away, but soon enough. And he wouldn’t flake either, when he asks you to marry him, he’d want to get married right away.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

THE GENTLEST PERSON. Soft when he needs to be, stern when he has to be. He’s gentle physically when it comes to all things you, and is known to wear his emotions like a book. So he understands and is almost always the first to understand. I almost classify Ben as an empath, because he can tell when things have gone wrong even as best as you try to hide it.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

To be in Ben’s arms is like in my top 3 things I’ve ever wanted in my entire life. He’s so good at giving hugs, but he may be a little indifferent to receiving them. It’s not that he hates them, but has he ever really gotten hugs before?? Probably not. He envelops you and smells like the outdoors after a morning shower.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Not very quickly. He knows when he loves you, but he has to be certain that you and him are on the same wavelength.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

A bit. A bit more than he’s willing to admit. Maybe you’ve been hanging around Caleb or Nathan too much. Or Lafayette gives you a hug as a greeting. Or his boss gives you a warm smile when he introduces you to him.

He doesn’t do anything. His stomach twinges, and he knows it’s jealousy, but he trusts you. He knows that you’d never do anything to double cross him.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

I’ve mentioned Ben’s smooches before, how giggly and bashful he gets when it comes to them. His kisses are like spring, beautiful and warm and full of love.

Ben likes to kiss you on your eyelids, but he loves placing little pecks on your cheeks.

Ben loves to be kissed on his knuckles, and his hands. Your butterfly kisses tickle him and he can’t help but smile as you ‘kiss’ his injuries away.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Mediocre, average. Doesn’t actively seek out to babysit or anything, but isn’t opposed to it. Children do love him, however, and as much as he says he is “meh”, you can’t help but smile as he swings a giggling baby around in his arms.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Sleepy and loving. He kisses you good morning and rolls right out of bed for coffee. If you have to be up before him, you usually try and slip out without waking him (‘cause he needs his sleep), but he’ll groan and pull you close to him until you give him morning kisses.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Board games, [comic] books, and vhs tapes. Ben enjoys anything that he gets to do with you, and is awesome at trivia. He’d spend hours scouring the internet for a new sort of game or something to do with you.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

He doesn’t really have much to hide, truthfully. Ben enjoys sharing his interests, and that follows with his college friends and other friendships he has. He would start revealing things as soon as asked, or maybe a little strained, depending on level of privacy.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Admittedly has a small temper. But it’s nothing that needs to be worried about, it’s only when he’s reached his absolute breaking point and can’t take another moment more. If you drop a pan while he’s concentrating or accidentally trip him up while he’s walking, he won’t even bat an eye.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Every.thing. You can tell him once your favorite candle scent and he’ll buy it for you when your birthday comes around. He nearly has a photographic memory, I’d say. Writes things down on calendars (anniversaries, birthdays, pets birthdays, etc,) and jots notes when necessary.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

When he came home after a long day (usually he beats you home) of work and agony. You had dinner on the table and a record on the machine, humming a low tune that makes his heart flutter. He felt so loved at that very moment, and it was hard for him to choke back tears.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Very. Ben defends you to the day he dies, and he does so in very lowkey ways that you much appreciate. Taking phone calls for you when you ask, and stepping into public situations when you beckon him close with a warbly voice.

Ben loves feeling protected, especially by you. When you squeeze his hands in affirmation, or stepping in between him and his work to get him to get some rest.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

A lot. He can’t get over the idea of getting to see you cry of happiness/thoughtfulness when he watches you take something out of wrapping paper that you offhandedly mentioned once. Ben loves putting the effort in because he’s always so surprised when you return it tenfold, no matter how many times he tries to outdo you.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Duplicate buying. I headcanon Ben as a collector, so whether it be comics or memorabilia, he’s known for an accidental duplicate buy every now and then.

He’s also guilty of leaving pens and pencils in bed. Oops.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Like literally 0%. He’s so effortlessly flawless, and a beautiful human being.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Yes. A billion times yes. You are accepted into being a part of him when you exchange “I love yous” and feels so lonely when you aren’t around. His heart is fragile and much more so than he’s willing to admit, so when you aren’t with him he looses his own sense of wholeness.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

While Ben is by no means scary-looking, he can be very intimating. He does not hesitate to get someone to back off when he feels it’s right to step in.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Ben admires people who share his interests, and can’t stand when people don’t take time to at least understand a tad bit of what he enjoys. There’s a difference in respecting each other’s space and things, and actively seeking out to disregard them.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

Ben sleeps in socks.

SFW Alphabet | Vasily

You can check tosikowrites tag for more as well as you can send character suggestion for SFW alphabet. Warning: there’s a lot under the cut.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Caught in Japan mute and technically deaf, since people speaking Russian are a quite rare finding in Hokkaido, Vasily is limited in his expression of affection. Obviously, first thing that comes to mind is communication though his amazing drawings but they are static and, therefore, lacking small details that are so important in dialogue. So he pays much more attention to non-verbal part of communication (probably unknowingly) to win a person.

He tries to sit by their side, not opposing but not siding, just right to attract attention. When “talking” to them, Vasily’s eyes become hundred times more expressive: he raises eyebrows in shock, frowns to show misunderstanding or anger, bulges eyes in surprise, squints eyes in disbelief. He has no idea what they are saying unless they draw responses as well. In all other cases Vasily trusts his guts, their general looks, and tone of the voice.

Speaking of drawings. We all can agree Vasily secretly draws them and hides pictures everywhere. He always keeps one, the best one in his opinion, close to the heart. Sugimoto found one of portraits and Vasily waved his arms so hard that he almost took off, but Saichi just smiled and promised to take his secret to the grave. Vasily will definitely show his creations to them when the time comes.

Physical affection. It is so hard. He needs a lot of clues to avoid awkward situations. No hugs, no big skin-to-skin contact unless he is at least 50% sure in their consent. Such low percentage because how much can you tell in situation like his? Vasily loves to be close to them and gets overly excited when they initiate holding hands even if it’s only for a few seconds.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

He is such an unpredictable friend to be honest. You never know what to expect. Today he disappears into thin air just to fall on your head tomorrow with a weird-looking kettle. It’s a new shiny samovar! Now you can drink real tea!

Vasily will follow you anywhere. Just call him, and you will have the best travel companion in the whole world. During the trip, he collects various trinkets and wraps them into his sketches. He drags you to the most crowded places where all fun takes place. Let’s skip the fact that “fun” is not always safe.

Before Vasily met Ogata, he loved to sing in a company. His bass-baritone was a gem of any gatherings and worked on girls like a charm. Now Vasya can’t say a word but you can catch him humming unfamiliar melodies from time to time. If his friend joins in singing, Vasily will clap hands in admiration.

The best around to get drunk with. His self-control is commendable since Vasily knows exact amount of alcohol he can take. He is in charge of bringing everybody back to camp if they decide to take a walk and slapping their hands when they reach for another glass. Not a mother type. His control extends only to drinking.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Classical big spoon and won’t let them be one if they are smaller than him. Vasily likes to cuddle but short cuddling annoys the hell out of him so his ideal cuddle session has to last at least half of hour without any interruptions. He also likes when partner lies on his chest. This position gives Vasya chance to slowly rub their back, ruffle their hair or play with it.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He… never thought about it? Despite widespread Slavic tradition of having large family and house in which sound of children’s stomping never dies down, Vasily never discussed settling down or getting married with anyone. It is not like he is not capable of living sedentary way of life, it just wasn’t relevant. Vasily needs someone to push him towards changing his lifestyle if they want to settle down in a future.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

Unlike the others, Vasily can’t explain himself and simply say “well, it won’t work out, let’s stay friends”. So he gives up trying. There are only two options:

In first Vasily slowly distances himself from them, growing abyss gets increasingly noticeable every next day. In the beginning, he ignores them loudly calling his name in the woods. Then he stops to turn around to their voice, he looks away just not to look them right in the eyes. The more assertive person is, the more they resist his cold treatment, the harsher Vasily becomes.

In second Vasily abruptly leaves country and goes back to Russian Empire. No notice. Nothing. The only reminder of his existence is a trail of shallow footprints in the snow and one or two drawing he did not manage to burn.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Once again, he haven’t thought about it at all. If his loved one brought up a marriage, Vasily would need to have a mental sit down. There is a ton of responsibilities hidden under the marriage concept, it makes ephemeral bond between two dryly official, but Vasily, will marry them if it will make them happier. He is ready to pop a question after two years, and only after another person shows their interest in it.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Stoic and collected in a professional sense but sincere and rough-ly gentle in everyday life. Turgenev, a Russian novelist, wrote that a real Russian has a heart of a child, and Vasily surely falls into this category: behind the image of a cold-blooded sniper hides a personality prone to vivid sensual experiences. He holds loved one like the most precious thing in the world and cares for them deeply.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Loves hugs with all his heart. After long time apart Vasily will squeeze them in a bear hug, leaving their legs hanging freely in the air. During the day Vasily likes to randomly come up from behind and place hands on their waist or thighs, while resting his chin on their shoulder or head. If his partner is teeny-tiny he can’t resist the urge to place them between his legs, their back to his chest, and press them closer, hiding them in his big ass coat.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

After good interpreter magically appears on the horizon? In any case, if he tries to do it without someone who understands Russian, you’ll get funny pantomime accompanied by sighs in different keys. He will write “Я люблю тебя” under another portrait just to get upset that nobody understands him.

It depends not on the time spent together but on events that they lived through, so it may take from one month to few years. By the time Vasily feels like saying “I love you” they probably realize it by his amorous behavior.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

Patient jealous type. But before we get to it, let’s say few people will take a risk and flirt with a partner of such a mysterious stranger. He carries a riffle, which means he shoots living creatures. Nobody wants to get shot, okay. One can hit on his partner and pray nobody points to it. When it happens, Vasily takes a silent stand behind his loved one and just stares at love rival until they go away. If it doesn’t help, Vasya may flip and take person to the ground with one hard blow. He keeps poker face the whole time.

His partner is flirting with someone? Gets touchy and lovey-dovey? After long monitoring and accepting an unpleasant fact, Vasily bounces back and forth between the stages of denial and anger. Next days he shoos them away with a hand gesture and tortures himself, overthinking if it really was what he thought it was. Puppy eyes and gentle pats are usually enough to calm him down.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

In the beginning Vasily dodges kisses like Neo does bullets. Very unobtrusively all attempts to kiss him come to naught, he rises hand in stop sign or turns around, tightening bashlyk in hurry. Not that he doesn’t want to, he is just afraid. No, not that they will gasp in fright or find scars on his cheeks ugly. He is afraid of pain. Thought of someone touching his face sends unpleasant tingle down to the jaw. Given the physiological position of the tongue and teeth, you can imagine what that bullet… well, better not.

Later Vasily relaxes enough to let them kiss him in the forehead. In return he nuzzles in their hair or neck or anywhere they allow to. As long as they are satisfied with such a surrogate, he is chill and forgets about his deformation.

One day Vasily surrenders to their wishes and lets them unwrap bashlyk like a birthday present. He closes eyes in praying for gentle touch. After realizing the light touch on the lips does not cause pain Vasya develops much more positive attitude towards kissing. Now he kisses them himself, hooray. On the nose, one the cheeks, on the lips. No tongue tho. He prefers to do it in private, far from prying eyes.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

For some vague reason kids seem to really like him? They love his silence and smiling eyes (Tyra Banks is proud of you, sweetie) just as much as his willingness to play with them. Vasily sees no problem to run around enjoying games that have Russian equivalent: kakurenbo/hide and seek similar to “прятки” and janken/rock paper scissors is identical to “камень, ножницы, бумага”. Moreover Vasily’s physical states are impressive: he throws kids in the air and catches them like it’s nothing, spins them around until he gets dizzy, etc. Feels more comfortable to play with little kids and toddlers than teenagers.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Immediately after waking up, Vasily gets up and thoroughly stretches. Usually his partner is still asleep so he has some time to do some housework. In summer and spring, Vasya grabs a scythe and mows overgrown weeds near the house, in fall he cuts firewood for the next season, and in winter you can catch him by the window, looking at endless white fields where he doesn’t have anything to do! After morning routine is over, he greats now woken up partner with a temple kiss and together they decide what to cook for breakfast.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Likes to enjoy privacy of his home. After the list of useful (and not so useful) things has been done, Vasily wants to bury his face in the partner’s neck and relax. He is all about tea party with fresh baked buttered buns, inept massage, cuddling with fingers intertwined. If night out occurs, it is a casual walk around the city/village with a purpose of catching hot news and exchanging niceties.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Vasily has his soul wide open and is ready to tell his partner about the past, family, friends, traditions, and many-many other things, but does he really have an opportunity? During the journey, Vasya tries to get around the inability to speak by drawing and pointing to somehow related items but it rarely makes any sense. In general, he does not dump everything at once so he can back to topic and start conversation from where they left it.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

He has a good understanding that cool head is a main tool in problem solving. You can annoy Vasily as much as you like, he will just shrug his shoulders and shake his head because there’s no point in responding aggressively. In the event of a serious incident (category includes betrayal, treason, encroachment on something important to him) Vasily will hold strong emotions back anyway. It is not that he doesn’t want to tear wrongdoer to pieces, no. He will do it, directing all the destructive power of hatred into action itself.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Great memory, especially visual memory that helps him to find way back to camp or hotel without asking for anyone’s help. Vasily’s watchfulness plays a big role in interaction with others, especially with loved one. Did their gaze linger on a certain stuff? Was it flower? Weapon? Some sort of food? What was their facial expression? He picks up whether they press received present to the chest or try to hide it as soon as possible. Vasily may surprise loved one with a gift that they were staring in the shop but didn’t buy even after few months pass.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

The time is far past midnight. Heavy clouds cover the sky over the river valley, and the only source of light are anvil crawlers, sprawled between bare branches of oaks and beeches. Vasily is wide awake. Rolling thunder has nothing to do with it. He is too concentrated on a person quietly snuffling on his chest. They are so close. He is so happy. He feels… important? Special? Lucky? When they wanted snuggle up to someone in seek of protection, they went to Vasily. Not to Sugimoto whose yell fills people with a primal fear. Not to Shiraishi whose dumb jokes can distract from looming threat. To him. Vasily keeps wondering how his loud heartbeat didn’t wake them up. He can’t wait for a morning to plant a dozen kisses on their cute sleepy face.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

It completely depends on another person’s self-defense skills. If they can take care of themselves, Vasily won’t worry much. They are not a child to have someone watching their every step. If they are less skilled, then he will keep an eye on them. One dirty look is enough for Vasily to become alert and sneak closer to the partner. He will try to avoid a direct confrontation but if it is impossible Vasily will aim for a head.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

The very presence of Vasily in another country is an endless trying so he is used to give his best. Most of Vasya's time is spent on picking social clues and particular interaction qualities between Japanese people, comparison with those in his own culture, and application of synthesized results in his own relationship. For example, if there’s a chance Vasily would buy them the sweetest marshmallow from famous Abrikosov confectionery concern, but following Japanese tradition he would… well, he’ll stick to Russian presents until he spends enough time in Japan. Doesn’t care about anniversaries so do not expect extra effort.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

It can be difficult for a serious person to be with Vasily because of his childish behavior. Yes, it's fun to fool around with the person from outside that is in such a sad position that he has no other choice but to laugh. Only at some point will it seem stupid and unreasonable.

Still, in the Slavic countries, a man has always been considered the leader of the relationship and his opinion was put above all others. Sometimes Vasily tries to change his partner and impose his vision of the world on them. He doesn't look like an strictly uncompromising individual but Vasily may have a little bit of this in him.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Comfort and warmth are the main criteria for Vasily when choosing clothes. In addition, face protection is important to him as well because a good soldier knows how to cover his weaknesses and leave opponents without any benefits. Vasily values his sideburns and takes a good care of them himself. In addition, he is aware his blue eyes are hypnotic secret weapon of Russian Empire and they are another thing he really likes in own appearance.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Crossing the border illegally, he didn’t expect to make friends in the first place, leave alone jumping into romantic relationship. Ending up cuffed instead of having a little fun as a side mission in spontaneous sniper hunt surely leaves him attached. Attachment leads to hurt. If they decide to end the relationship Vasily’s feelings are crushed. You can catch the moment of realization: his shoulders drop and eyebrows rise in surprise as he takes step back. That’s okay. Vasily doesn’t hold grudges. His behavior remains positive despite being hurt.

If they were killed, Vasily will cross the whole damn country to find the culprit. He will search every corner, turn every stone to make them pay. Only then Vasily will allow himself to mourn properly, pray for them. After returning back home, he will light a candle in their memory during each church visit.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

Vasily is far from “innocent” persona people try to picture him. His disability and unfamiliar environment gave him a great disguise but Vasily is sniper, he is deadly. Given his size and physique, Vasya, probably, can suffocate person with single hand, and squeaky sound of leather gloves friction sends goosebumps down his spine.

Corporal punishment was allowed up until 1904 both in army and navy of Russian Empire. I can see Vasily as someone who got into minor troubles but was disliked by his mentors so he got a bit of whipping, flogging, maybe, even running the gauntlet. His back is covered in merely visible thin white and pink lines.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Controlling partner is a big no-no. There are people that tolerate their loved one directing everything, gently pushing towards favored decisions, but Vasily isn’t one of them. It irritates him to the point where Vasya crosses his hands on the chest and throws a mum fit.

Vasily is a smart man, Vasily knows that good things take time. That’s why he can’t imagine himself with an impatient person by his side. In addition, you’ll need patience to deal with his forced silence that prevents intelligible communication.

Pretence. Mostly because Vasily can’t get why would you fake something? It doesn’t make you successful person, it just make you a liar.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)

Doesn’t care where to sleep while it’s still dark. As soon as the first sunbeam hits his face, Vasily quickly jumps on his feet and gets to work. Same goes for any other light source like candle, lamp, torch. Prefers to doze with rifle by his side so that in the case of danger he could easily protect himself and others. Also Vasily sleeps exclusively on his back to minimize face contact with hard surfaces.

The thought of his homeland makes Vasily's heart ache, mostly because he misses sleeping on the Russian stove (remember “печка”?). There’s nothing even close to the heat it radiates. He just wants to curl on the stove and eat fresh kalaches.

Sleep quality is inversely proportional to the presence of dreams. It is easy to understand that Vasily had one: his face expresses complete detachment, and in his eyes you can see immeasurable sadness.

Headcanons:

· A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?) Beelzebub doesn’t really like to show affection in a physical manner, especially around other demons, angels or humans. Their love language is most definitely words of affirmation, acts of service and quality time, the latter two more than the first. Beelzebub shows how they feel about you by simply making sure to spend time with you, or by completing tasks and using miracles to make your day easier.

· B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?) There’d be a lot of complaining about how Hell was going, discussing about how they will be just so happy once the apocalypse is over and done with, but is also very protective. You complain about an ex or someone who has been taking advantage of you, in whatever way? They would get a special visit from a certain demon of hell.

· C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?) Not the most physically affectionate person that you know. Doesn’t not like a cuddle, but definitely is not one to seek it out. You have to ask before you initiate every time and have to tell them what you find comfortable and what you don’t want at that particular time. They do prefer to face you whilst you hug because they like to read your face and make sure what they are doing is not making you feel uncomfortable.

· D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?) No. Definitely not. Beelzebub does feel affection towards you (not love, demons are incapable of love apparently) but they know it’s only temporary. And a demon settling down with a human? Real bad PR. There is no settling down and probably not going to help with the cooking and cleaning. The two of you are just spending time together and enjoying every second. Maybe, if you ended up in Hell, Beelzebub would pull a few strings, so you could still see them and continue your relationship and from there perhaps settle down as much as two demons can, but definitely not whilst you are human.

· E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?) Emotionlessly and like a band aid. Pretty much is like ‘your usefulness to me has ceased and, as such, I wish to terminate our relationship.’ Very formal. And doesn’t stick around they just up and leave. If it was for their own good (being threatened by other demons or angels etc.) then they’d probably feel like they were doing it for your own safety, and therefore would want to make it hurt as much as possible because logically it means you would want to avoid them. Totally would send demons to check up on you or go up themself to make sure you were safe and ok.

· F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?) I don’t see Beelzebub getting married? As I said, they are very much in it more for the spending good quality time together and enjoying every second than actually committing to something long term. For Beelzebub, its more a denial of something being there and the fact that they know that, long term, its not going to work out. You’re human. They’re a demon. One day you are going to expire. If you really pushed and shoved, maybe they’d be down for getting engaged and being married but you’d have to push a lot and it would take a while for them to agree.

· G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?) I think emotionally, Beelzebub is as blunt as blunt can be. There is no careful side to the way they speak, they just say it as it is. Over time, they learn that sometimes you need a shoulder and although its not their favourite thing to be doing, they’d definitely be there for you in whatever way they can physically, but they find the whole talking to comfort thing quite difficult

· H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?) Definitely prefers hugs over cuddles, because they are brief but still portray affection. Warm, tight but yes brief.

· I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?) I don’t think Beelzebub would ever say the word. It’s just not something in their vocab. The way they ‘say’ it is through simply being with you and through acts of service or quality time.

· J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?) Oh yeah boy they get jealous. They are possessive to say the least, but in a cute way (this is also how you know they love you). Its not so much a trust thing but more a ‘hey, you are hitting on my partner and I don’t like this because ya know. They are my partner’. Most definitely will release all Hell against someone who you specifically ask for help with, but mostly will send the mother of all death glares until the person annoying you gets a hint. Beelzebub knows you will ask for help when you need it, so they stand in the background until they get the call.

· K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?) Kissing for Beelzebub is quite new and different, but they like it. Especially when they kiss the back of your hand or when you kiss them on the lips. When it first happened, it was awkward because they were inexperienced, but as time went on, they got really, really, insanely good at it. Almost sinful some would say. They also know when all you need is a chaste kiss vs when you need something heavy, even if you don’t know yourself.

· L = Little ones (How are they around children?) Ok, kids confuse Beelzebub because they are just smaller humans but kids friggin love Beelzebub. They dress weird, talk funny and are blunt as heck. Brilliant. You have to kinda stand guard however after Beelzebub accidently terrorised your cousins with stories from when they used to torture the souls of hell. (“Talking about rot is fine, how to flay a human being and how it feels not so much, dear.”)

· M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?) Beelzebub is usually not around in the mornings, once you go to sleep they are off doing devilish deeds or whatever Hell requires of them. Usually, you send a love heart emoji to their phone and you get a good morning text back. They will pop around as you have breakfast and they tell you how they spent the night as you slowly wake up.

· N = Night (How are nights spent with them?) Watching movies or showing Beelzebub parts of humanity to be celebrated is definitely one of your favourite nightly activities because Beelzebub always provides a challenge and is always there to listen and try to understand. Beelzebub will always stay until you fall asleep, something that you reassure them doesn’t need to happen but Beelzebub genuinely enjoys the feeling of you falling asleep in their arms. Even if it takes a while to worm out without waking you up.

· O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?) Remember how I said they were blunt? Yeah, right away you know everything and anything. How much they despise humanity and angels, that they are a demon and a high ranking one at that. That one day Hell will win the battle over Heaven and there will only be Hell and how they can’t wait for that day. What really got them, however, was that you just smiled and went ‘great! I’m Y/N, let’s hang out until the war to end all wars happens!’ and it t h r o w s them off so badly that they need a minute to recover from the recoil

· P = Patience (How easily angered are they?) It doesn’t take much to annoy and anger Beelzebub, and you can always tell because they start buzzing out their z’s longer than when they are calm and almost seem to radiate ‘pissed off’ energy. Sometimes, they just take a calming breath and proceed calmly, other times voices are raised, and you have to remind them to take a walk and the both of you would come back to discuss the issue calmly, unless they are ranting about work. Then you just wait for the yelling to finish.

· Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?) I think they remember the big things, like dates and favourites/hates. Like, they will remember that your birthday is on your birthday, but they will forget it because time is meaningless, and they will look at the calendar you bought them and realise your birthday was a week ago. Dates in their head but they don’t think its important to know what day it is every single day if that makes sense? They won’t remember little things however, there is a lot on their minds at any given time. They listen and try to remember but sometimes it just goes in one ear and out the other.

· R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?) The time when you managed to rip into Hastur for barging in on date night for something that was very much not important. It was hysterical to see his jaw on the ground as you yelled about how you didn’t care if he was the Duke of Hell, it’s date night, no other demons allowed.

· S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?) Very. They don’t see you as a china doll, but you are precious, and breakable. After all, you are only human. They trust you to take care of yourself and to ask for help when needed, but if they see you slipping and not asking for help they will simply provide a few demonic miracles of their own to make sure your day goes smooth and that you are protected and safe. May ask a couple of close demons (well, as close as demons can get) to follow you somewhat discreetly when you have to go away on a trip and Beelzebub cannot come. But it’s very rare that they will do that because demons are not discreet and you’ve always found out within the first day of being followed.

· T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?) Its not that they don’t try, they just know what you like and what works, and it requires very little effort to get it all set up. They like to keep things simple and not overcomplicated because the moment it becomes complex is the moment something can go wrong. The one thing they do try to do is to make sure its uninterrupted time and that the time they’ve organised is for you and you only.

· U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?) Is messy. Hell is super messy as is and that’s just the environment they are used to but you hate it when it makes it’s way into your house. Also, bringing work home. You find it frustrating when it eats up all of your time together and it used to happen constantly until finally you brought up how annoying it was, then they prioritised what needed to come home and what didn’t.

· V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?) Not very? They look how they look and it doesn’t really matter to them.

· W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?) Probably more than they’d like to admit. If they go a long time without seeing you, they miss your presence and how you manage to keep their head clear. The longer they go without seeing you, the more short-tempered they become.

· X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.) You found a fly hat similar to theirs once and bought it on a whim. Loves seeing you in it because they think it makes you look adorable also means it makes you look like theirs and they love that more than they’d like to admit.

· Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?) Probably someone who was exactly like the angels. There are very few angels that Beelzebub would tolerate but if you were very very church-y and tries to convince them that God is good and all they need is God to forgive them for them to be happy? Nope, not gonna happen.

· Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?) They don’t sleep but the one time you convinced them to at least try it, they were one of the most restless sleepers you’ve ever known. Kicking, turning, hitting you twice and even managed to headbutt you once. Turns out, horrid nightmares. Never went to sleep again.

A - Z ㅡ Taeyong

NOT NSFW!!!

A/N: A twist on the traditional A-Z that’s NSFW and now a fluffy version. Yes, I made these up, sorry if they’re bad-

A - According To ...

According to Taeil, Taeyong is very sensitive and just wants to be loved.

B - Bored [ what he does when he’s bored ]

Scrolls through his phone or sleeps if possible- Basically, what we all do too.

C - Cuddling

Cuddle bug, he loves cuddles. He doesn’t mind if he’s the big or little spoon, or your limbs are all tangled together, facing one another. Anything with contact he’s fine with- He likes burying his face, can’t say why... He’s gorgeous, not sure why he’d hide. But he finds it most comfortable and a good way to block out the light, plus he’s enraptured in your scent, nuzzling into the crook of your neck or chest. He’ll snuggle anywhere, in bed, on the sofa, in the back of a taxi, etc... When he’s sleepy or has a bit of alcohol in his system he’s the most cuddly, murmuring shit no one can understand.

D - Day or Night?

He prefers night. Usually in the darkness of his bed, illuminated by his phone.

E - Excited [ what he does when he’s excited ]

He wiggles! He’s a wiggler~ When he gets excited his hands clasp together, or onto the person he’s with and he smiles, even laughs. He’ll even go as far as to bounce around, clapping his hands. When he can’t hold it in he does a variety of weird motions, not really knowing what to do with his hands for once.

F - Fans

He loves his fans so much! He credits them with everything, without them he wouldn’t be where he is today and NCT wouldn’t. Each and everyday he reads what fans say on either the fan board, twitter, youtube comments, instagram, etc... And I bet you each and everyday he smiles because of the things he reads. He told fans once if they see NCT on the street to run up to them and hug them without saying anything [pretty sure that’s what a lot of sasaeng fans try to do anyway in the airport, and you’d definitely get a bodyguard on your ass]- He just wants NCTzenies to love one another and NCT!

G - Gayness

Hmm, around 40% I would say. Jaeyong is still a strong ship. He’s a very subtle and chill gay, but still a confident one- Except for when it comes to Jungwoo and Win, then he gets flustered... bc... cute angels.

H - Heart

He’s got such a big heart and so many don’t know!!! He did wrongs in his past and has been branded for them ever since, even tho time and time again he’s apologized, cried, and addressed them with regret... With his lyrics too you can tell he wants to be loved, as Taeil said. He’s a leader, and has to be compassionate and sympathetic to be able to handle his group mates and have them all love him- He’s a huge softie, have you ever seen him around animals?

J - Jealousy

He’s jealous. If it’s just between mates it’s fine, Johnny and Jae hanging out, chill. But it comes when he’s attached to certain people who he finds himself close with, but they give another attention... He needs attention, especially yours. He’ll find something else to do other than watch, pour himself a glass of water, look at his phone, turn around and act like he’s going to sleep. It’s a mini silent treatment until you address him. He’ll still ask later about it, what was Yuta saying that was so important? Be a bit obvious he’s jealous, he doesn’t mind if you know, he’d prefer you/them know than be oblivious.

K - Kisses

A great kisser!!! He gives all his friends little pecks on their cheeks and says his kisses are a reward to his members~ Any chance this giggling mess has pop a smooch on your cheek, nose, or forward he will- Even for the littlest of things, the way you cutely sneezed or whined at him for being too loud. When it comes to your lips, he has a thousand different kissed saved for each occasion; a sweet and chaste kiss for when your sleepy, a rushed and teeth-bared smooch for when he’s excited, long sensual make-outs when he’s upset or emotional, rough and passionate kisses when your pulling on his shirt, etc... His lips are so soft and travel all over the he can reach, your hand, sure, your hair, of course, your nose, certainly, the back of your neck and shoulder, naturally~

M - Moody

He can be a moody bitch, no lie. Especially since he’s exhausted far too often and doesn’t have the energy to deal with everyone 24/7. When he gets in his moods he can become really quiet and keep to himself, his typical look of boredom on his face...

N - Neediness

Depends on who it’s with. In this kind of scenario obviously it’s dedicated to the reader, so I’d say only with you is he needy, for attention and all. He’s needy with his members too, since they know him inside and out, but he doesn’t want to put strain on people or seem annoying, so with staff and others he won’t act needy.

O - Open or Closed?

He’s a pretty closed person, he doesn’t make friends easily and it’s especially hard being a celebrity- Knowing who you can trust and get close with and who you can’t... But with his close friends he’s very open, they’re his only outlet since he doesn’t want to worry his family.

P - Picky?

When it comes to food he’s not so picky- I mean he has a list of stuff he doesn’t like, but he’s also very willing to try new things~ When it comes to people, he’s kinda picky who he’d chose as his friends. He has high standards and it takes a lot of work to become close to him, so you’d be the top 1%

Q - Question [ something I wonder about him... ]

With a S/O, would his germaphobia lessen? Would he share a water bottle with me? Cuz I mean I have it also, but I’d share with him

Rustling your hair if you did a good job, interlocking fingers, squeezing the flesh of your arms unconsciously as he spouts, poking your cheek, gently body bumping before chuckling as you push him out of your way, etc...

T - Talent

Off the charts, no questions asked. Amazing actor, singer, rapper, dancer, person, etc...

U - Unique [ a unique characteristic ]

He has so many facets. You all already know what I’m talking about. He’s cool and sexy on stage, but adorable and sometimes awkward off. His persona is so unique, how he’s able to switch so casually. I think it makes him unique, I’ve never met someone who can so coolly be two-faced.

V - Vegetable [ how he is when lazy ]

I’m not 100% sure, but I can guess. If he’s feeling tired and has the chance, he’d probably sleep. Usually tho, he probably plays Animal Crossing or another game on his phone- Possibly even taking some time to lounge around and scroll through the NCT tag on Twitter. If he has to do something he’s obviously going to not want to, but he’s a big boy and as NCT’s leader he’s learned a lot about doing things even though he may not want to and matured a lot as well, so he’ll still silently do whatever it is he’s asked before plopping on the sofa once more.

W - Wink

X - X-Man [ if he had a superpower it would be... ]

He said he’d like the ability to teleport, to visit all the Czennies around the world no doubt- His parents too-

Y - Yellow [ his thoughts on the color ‘Yellow’ ]

If the color gold is considered yellow... He may like it. But in general I think he can agree it’s an ugly and awkward color- I mean when do you ever see him willingly wearing yellow??? Never

Z - Zodiac

Cancer~ Very sensitive. He matches well with Cancer, Taurus, Pisces, & Scorpio ^^ He doesn’t match well with Aries or Libra T T

A : AFFECTION. how does your muse show affection?

Reui has a hard time showing affection in public, but if it’s just him and his partner together he is very much a hands on kind of person with showing affection. Petting hair, giving kissing, hugging, the whole works. He’s less of a words person more of an actions person.

B : BOUQUET. does your muse like flowers? which ones are their favourite?

He does, but he doesn’t really have a specific favorite, any that match his favorite color (purple) are perfect by him.

C : CHOCOLATE. does your muse like chocolate? which one is their favourite?

Reese's Pieces! Undoubtedly his favorite.

D : DATE. what is your muse’s ideal date? where / who with / etc?

Ideal date... Reui doesn’t really have an ideal? He doesn’t let himself dwell and think about dating to much though to be honest. Funny enough probably just hanging in the studio or going to watch a dance or something might be the closest to ideal he’s thought of.

E : EMBRACE. does your muse like hugs? what are their hugs like?

Reui does not like hugs unless it’s a person he really trusts, so normally only his partner or pets. He’s kind of on the smaller side so he tends to hug people around their waist more than anything and he’s super gentle.

F : FLIRT. is your muse good at flirting? how do they flirt?

Reui and fliting got unintentionally hand in hand. He never does so on purpose, not really, but it seems to always happen. When he likes someone he just goes for it, but doesn’t consider it flirting.

G : GIFT. is your muse good at gift - giving or do they struggle to get it right?

Reui sucks at giving gifts, he never knows what to get people. So unless they specifically ask for something he doesn’t tend to give gifts,

H : HEART. is your muse quick or slow to give their heart away?

Very slow. Reui doesn’t tend to find himself attracted to many people and when he does he’s always is skeptical. He knows how badly dating can go, and he knows things can go wrong so easily. This doesn’t mean he doesn’t date though, Reui dates. He just doesn’t always necessarily give his heart to them when he does.

I : I LOVE YOU. does your muse find ‘i love you’ easy or hard to say?

Hard. To go long with the fact he doesn’t get attracted to many people Reui struggles with thinking he’s lying when he says I love you, even if it’s the truth to him.

J : JEALOUSY. does your muse get jealous in a relationship?

Not really actually. He kind of likes it when other people are interested in the person hes dating and that person is only loyal to him.

K : KISS. is your muse a good kisser? why / why not?

Maybe? Unsure. Reui’s kissed people, but maybe not a wide enough variety to be considered good by everyone?

L : LOVE. who does your muse love?

Reui doesn’t have any immediate family to love, so outside of any partner he (may) love sadly Reui doesn’t have anyone he can easily say he loves.

N : NAUGHTY. what is your muse like in bed?

He looks like a soft fairy, but Reui is honestly pretty kinky in bed. He can be just as soft as he looks or the complete opposite. It really just depends his partner and that they’re into.

O : ODE. does your muse have a way with words?

Nope. Reui fails with words but knows how to move his body.

P : PARTNER. what does your muse look for in a partner? looks / personality?

He doesn’t look for anything in particular really, as he doesn’t seek out relationships. If they come to him they come to him.

Reui would never ask. Even if he was genuinely sure he loved that person, he’s to afraid to mess things up.

R : ROMANCE. is your muse a romantic or a cynic?

Closer to a cynic, but can be a romantic with the right people.

S : SWEETHEART. did your muse have a childhood sweetheart?

There was a girl he used to ‘date’ in primary school, but it was like any other primary school crush... he’s gay now.

T : TRUE LOVE. does your muse believe in true love?

Maybe? He doesn’t know. Probably not. He doesn’t understand how people can stay with one person their whole life, so it’s closer to a no.

U : UNREQUITED. has your muse had their heart broken?

He thought he did, by that girl in primary school... he’s gay now.

V : VALENTINE. how does your muse feel about valentine’s day?

Doesn’t like it. It seems to squishy. Probably partly because he’s been dumped a few to many times on the day for ‘forgetting’ to get his partners gifts or do anything with them.

W : WEDDING. would your muse get married? why / why not?

Probably not. Just like with the true love one, he doesn’t really understand how people can stay stuck to one person their whole life.

X : XOXO. does your muse use / like pet names?

Yes and yes. Reui has a tendency to use all kinds of pet names, and he enjoys being called some as well.

Y : YOURS. does your muse get protective easily?

He gets protective but not jealous. If someone is hurting the person who hes with he will defend them.

Z : ZZZ. how many people has your muse slept with?

... more then he could probably name honestly.

What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

One minute. Give Daedel one whole minute. Then, she’ll stand up and be like “No. I got to do something with my life. Now if you’ll excuse me. There’s a good chocolate ice cream deal waiting for me” XDD

How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)

She usually drinks some hot chocolate (which is essential for monsters of her type. I’ll explain later) and watch a movie until her eyes get droopy X3

How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?

Usually, she remains silent for a while because she’d be really embarrassed to ask. Once she finally musters up the courage, they’ll ask… like 10 minutes after the subject’s been brought up XDDD

What memory do they revisit the most often?

Daedel has two turning points in her life that she thinks about a lot.

One is the time she got her scarf (it’s quite a long story and I will be telling all about it soon ^v^)

And two is when she went to the place where Waterfall ends and Hotland begins to get a flower for her indoor garden. The flower is high up on a ledge and is just right between the border. Daedel is short and she hates Hotland so she’s trying to come up with a way to reach for it. A particular monster saw her from a distance and came up to help her.

That was the day she met her superhero. (Again. Long story but there will be something about it soon XDD)

A) Why are you excited about this character?

Because she is 60% me and 40% who I want to be. I made her not just to represent me. She’s what inspires me to go “Yeah. I can be that kind of person today.” She’s fun, full of life, and she’s playful. And she’s 19. If she can be like that, then I know I can be X3

Also because she’s got a really good aesthetic going on. I wish I could be that cute >>

B) What inspired you to create them?

How I created her was a cute and funny story, actually XDD Me and my then-crush (now-boyfriend) were hanging out a lot by then and we’d just come up with the most random topics to talk about. When it was his turn to come up with a topic, he asked “What kind of monster do you think you’d be like in Undertale?”

He explained first and made up a monster that resembled him (the best monster tbh TTwTT And you guys will get to know him one dae :3). His monster is like 6 foot tall (with the stuff on his head, I bet it’s more than 6 foot) so I thought “Hmmm… my crush made a really tol monster. You know what would be a great monster to partner that? A really smol monster!!” I only thought of that for like a split second tho XDD

At first I thought skeleton but that seemed to be a bit overused so I decided to come up with something new. I always enjoyed the idea of having other elemental monsters. And since we just started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender at that time, I really want to become a water bender (more of an ice bender, really). So I thought about being a smol water/ice elemental monster that lives in Snowdin and loves hugs. I was thinking about flowers that bloom in the coldest weathers and the first flower that came up was Edelwiess. One pun game later, Daedelweiss was born! TA-DA!! XDDD

I owe you big time for helping me make the best character I made, @gameoverzi XDDD

E) Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you?

Of course, she is someone I’d get along with. She’s me XDDDD We’d probably be the dorkiest best friends ever X3

H) What trait do you admire most?

Her child-likeness. I made her because I want to still be a kid despite my age. She’s just so unafraid to play, give, hug people, learn stuff, and go do things no one would do. If you’d put yourself in her shoes, the messy world is wonderful. She knows there’s bad so she takes it upon herself to be the good in it even if she’d be the only one.

And that’s honestly what I look for in people. Their child-like nature. If you look at all my friends and the people I’m incredibly close with, you’ll see that we all still have a spark of our inner child in us. Just goofing off, not worrying about problems too much if we can’t do anything about it, and just… laughing. That is the trait I just love most :3
