So, Ernst Hausleitner, the Austrian Formula 1 commentator mentiond the he and Alex Wurz left Australia on the same plane as Kimi, Seb, Lando, Carlos "and many more".

We knew about Kimi and Seb leaving early and Lando and Carlos leavin early makes sense as well since they wouldn't compete. But "many more"? And commentators leaving early as well?

I think they all knew the race wasn't going to happen long before it became official.
