Veronika Voss, the last film released before Fassbinder's death, is a somewhat campy melodrama with overtones of Sunset Blvd. (Billy Wilder, 1950). Veronika (Rosel Zech) is a faded star, whose career began during the Third Reich. There are rumors that she was sexually involved with Joseph Goebbels, which is one reason for her career decline in the postwar era -- the film is set in Munich in 1955. She accidentally meets a sportswriter, Robert Krohn (Hilmar Thate), who has no idea who she is -- a fact that fascinates Veronika, who retains delusions of her celebrity. Krohn in turn is fascinated by Veronika, and sets out to learn more about her, with disastrous consequences for him, his girlfriend Henriette (Cornelia Froboess), and Veronika herself. Veronika is a virtual captive of Dr. Marianne Katz (Annemarie Düringer), a neurologist who keeps her supplied with morphine. Dr. Katz's household is an odd one indeed, consisting of a woman named Josefa (Doris Schade), who is apparently the doctor's assistant and perhaps her lover, and a Black GI (Günther Kaufmann), who seems to be a household factotum and wanders around the clinic/apartment singing snatches of American pop songs of the era. There is a film noir element to the movie, photographed in black and white by Xaver Schwarzenberger, although sometimes it becomes film blanc -- Fassbinder likes to revert to dazzling white sets and starburst filters, especially in scenes where Dr. Katz's villainy is manifest. The result is a film in which style often overwhelms content, but with intriguing results. There is, as I suggested, a prevalent note of camp, especially in scenes involving the doctor and her household and when Veronika sings a torchy, baritonal version of the old Dean Martin hit, "Memories Are Made of This," in the manner of Marlene Dietrich.

First Loki Season 2 Trailer Reveals Evil Kang (Description)

It's been over a year since Tom Hiddleston's Loki wrapped up its first season but the God of Mischief certainly left an impression. It didn't take long until Marvel Studios gave the green light for Loki season 2.

Early on in development, Hiddleston confirmed that the whole cast would be returning. This was seemingly confirmed after Sophia Di Martino's Sylvie and Owen Wilson's Mobius were both spotted on set. Fan favorite character Miss Minutes is also expected to appear as is Jonathon Majors' Kang.

These won't be the only characters showing up for Loki's second season with new cast members and new footage revealed at Marvel's D23 panel.

New Loki Season 2 Footage Revealed

The Marvel Studios panel at D23 showed some exclusive footage of Loki season 2 to attendees.

According to descriptions of the footage via Popverse, Loki is seen being ripped through time, saying “I’ve seen terrible, awful things”.

Hiddleston's character also sees a wall covered in Kang decorations before saying the line "war is on its way." The main cast is seen in space suits and tuxedos.

Matt Ramos revealed that Loki Season 2 shows the character "trying to warn everyone about the coming war with Kang".

Insider correspondent, Kirsten Acuna, added the footage had a "creepy vibe" and that Loki is seen unveiling Kang's face behind a wall in the TVA.

Further information about that scene was revealed by New Rockstars' Erik Voss, who said:

"There's also a shot where Loki chisels away a mural of the Time Keepers to reveal a wall of giant golden Kang variant faces."

It was also revealed at the panel that Indiana Jones and Everything Everywhere All At Once star Ke Huy Quan will be joining the cast of Loki for season 2.

Bestilt av Skolebestyrer Prebensen: Aastad Gaard, - WP 631-638.

ÅSTAD GÅRD

Gården er oppført under Nesøya gods både i 1629 og 1658. Morten eller Markus Ormsen, Aastad, var leilending på gården fra 1643 og i hvert fall til 1681. Første bonde som var eneier i nyere tid, synes å ha vært Ole Eriksen Aastad (1689-1740) som ble eier av gården i 1726. Etter hans død ble går­den overtatt av hans fire barn. Eierforholdet er deretter stadig skiftende. I 1765 ble gården kjøpt av jens Thoresen Berger (1728­1769). Hans enke giftet seg med Iver Helgesen fra Ringi, som i 1785 solgte gården til sin bror Lars Helgesen. Hans datter Ingeborg, giftet seg i 1809 med John Pettersen Berger, som også kjøpte gården, og la den til jorden på Berger. Ingeborg overtok Åstad etter sin manns død, og giftet seg igjen med Andreas Nilsen fra Drammen. Ekteskapet ble barnløst. Som enkemann giftet han seg igjen med Ingeborg Torvet (f. 1819). Deres datter Johanne Aastad ble gift med Erik Thorsen (1845-1935). Han var lærer på Aars & Voss skole i Oslo, og solgte gården til skolestyrer ved samme skole, Thorvald Prebensen i 1891. Selv beholdt Thorsen en villatomt nedenfor jern­banelinjen som fortsatt er i familiens eie. Erik Thorsens sønn, Thor Andreas ( f. 1878), var ved århundreskiftet en av landets fremste ski/kombinertløpere. Skolestyrer Thv. Prebensen anla et nydelig park­anlegg i og rundt Åstaddammen. Hans barn solgte gården i 1935 til Reidar H.W von Koss. Han døde barnløs i 1994, og testamenterte sin formue (hvorunder Åstad gård) til Redningsselskapet og Høyre.
