I’m a huge fan of anything mechanical/artificial intelligence coded.

I have a pretty polarized preference for colors in art: Very vibrant colors vs. grey scale/pale colors. Personally I switch my style between these two depending on the topic and my mood.

I’m a Engineering major and I love combining my interests in those fields with my passion. I have a deep passion for Astronomy, Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Philosophy, and basically anything science-related.

U.S. Navy declares IOC for its new UAS reconnaissance MQ-4C Triton

The U.S. Navy officially declared the initial operational capability (IOC) of Northrop Grumman Corporation's MQ-4C Triton multi-manned unmanned aircraft on September 14.

Since its Early Operational Capability (EOC) milestone in May 2020, the MQ-4C Triton has operated within the U.S. Navy Pacific Fleet, conducting maritime intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions in the area of responsibility of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command as the Navy's only unmanned, high-altitude, long-lived aircraft.

The MQ-4C Triton, manufactured for use by the U.S. Navy and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), supports a wide range of missions. These include maritime patrol, signal intelligence, search and rescue operations, as well as communications relay tasks.

According to the producer, these aircraft offer persistent surveillance capabilities, assisting in predicting opposing actions and facilitating more effective joint military efforts and enterprises.

Operating at altitudes above 50,000 feet and boasting a 24-hour resistance, the Triton serves as a continuous communications retransmission center, ensuring connectivity between dispersed Navy units, while allowing commanders to operate with a shared operational overview.

“The Triton proved to be invaluable for the maritime patrol and reconnaissance mission in the Indo-Pacific. Now that the system has reached its initial operational capacity, commanders will be able to take full advantage of Triton's powerful set of sensors to detect and stop potential opponents around the world," said Rho Cauley Bruner, director of the Triton program at Northrop Grumman.

"The persistent global maritime awareness is fundamental to deter, or compete and win, our opponents. Triton ensures that we are making informed decisions and operating effectively anywhere in the world," added Captain Josh Guerre, manager of the U.S. Navy's persistent unmanned aircraft systems program.

Northrop Grumman provided the U.S. Navy with a total of five Triton aircraft equipped with multiple intelligence capabilities, with the most recent delivery occurring in June 2023.

There was a little overlap in the classes, thankfully! It still took close to 2 years to take the courses, do the tests, submit the paperwork and everything. Some of these classes met as early as 5am and some, like the 191/775 EMC combo course required a lot of setup/mapping late into the night.

Next up will be to finish the FEMA Basic Academy next year!

And of course, thank you so much to @all-the-w-ness for her support. She put up with a lot while I took these classes and everything I do! It means a lot to me to have her beside me as I go through life.

Also, it was a great experience meeting and networking with all of my classmates and instructors who I learned so much from.

WHO HAS THE MOST RIZZ? WHO IS THE RIZZLER AMONG THEM

This is a difficult question because, I mean, they're all Links. They're all incredibly charming in their own ways, intentionally or not, so I had to make charts to explain. The first describes their flavor of rizz, and the second describes how much they have.

Quick answer: Artisan

Longer answer:

Artisan has the most raw charisma. His games circle around interpersonal relationships, and that extends to him. He's effortlessly charming, both roguish and noble in attitude and appearance, and that plus his positive attitude makes him appealing to interact with. Commander is close behind, but he had to build up his actual charisma, apart from just being attractive, and he knows how to actually utilize his charm. His entire game... I'll let it speak for itself.

As for Mask, he's in his edgy emo teen phase, and he sometimes references an apocalypse that never happened in a land that may or may not exist. He's uncanny and unwilling to open up to most, so most people aren't really willing to spend a ton of time with him. This does not keep girls his age from finding him attractive, though. What teenager girl doesn't find the mysterious angsty boy a bit charming??

The rest: Archer is seen as pretty much universally attractive in his games, and he also forges several decent relations with the individuals of his era. He's awkward at times, but it's part of his charm. Pirate is just hot. Every person I've shown him to starts acting disrespectfully. That's all I'm going to say on that. He's also just a nice guy to hang around. Cloudy and Farmer are pretty much on the same level. They're both wholesome community boys who like to help. They look trustworthy and capable :)) Despite his disposition, Collector is unfailingly kind and willing to help anyone he comes across. He has an aura about himself that people like and trust. Forge is quite similar to Cloudy and Farmer, in that he's got a heart of gold and is always happy to help, but he's a bit more mischievous, a bit more chaotic, and he keeps his secrets close to his chest. Piper is babey, your honor. He gets anxious and quiet sometimes, and he lacks the confidence of his fellow heroes, but he's adorable and I want to squish his cheeks Scout is a bit standoffish, but apart from the usual hero stuff, he's got his moments of goofiness to contrast with his serious attitude. He's considerate, always fighting for the people, and because of that, he's trusted by the people.

In the end, how much rizz each boy has really depends on your personal tastes, but this is my estimation the general consensus.

US Navy Taps Lockheed Martin For LRASM Integration On F-35

The U.S. Navy is looking to tap Lockheed Martin Corporation's Missiles Fire Control (MFC) unit for Integrating the Long Range Anti-ship Missile (LRASM) on the F-35.

The Naval Air Systems Command released a pre-solicitation notice on July 7th, seeking sources for integrating the U.S. Navy’s Long Range Anti-ship Missile (LRASM) on the F-35 platform. The notice states that NAVAIR plans to negotiate and award a sole source delivery order for a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to Lockheed Martin Corporation’s Missiles Fire Control (MFC).

According to the notice Lockheed Martin “will support the F-35 Tactical Missile Operational Flight Program (MOFP) development. LMMFC shall develop and deliver a build of tactical MOFP that is compatible with F-35 and backward compatible with legacy aircraft platforms, including F/A-18, B-1, and P-8.”

News of possible JASSM-ER and LRASM integration on the F-35 goes back to 2018 and has been known for years now, but little was known about when this would begin. During the 2021 Surface Navy Association symposium, Lockheed Martin unveiled artist impressions of an F-35 equipped with two LRASMs. Naval News contacted Lockheed Martin to ask about the unveiling and the progress of the integration if one was happening.

Lockheed Martin officials stated that they had completed initial fit checks for both JASSM-ER and LRASM at the time of the unveiling, and expected planned integration efforts to continue into the year. Congress also allocated funds for the integration effort later that year in the FY22 budget.

LRASM is currently integrated on the U.S. Navy’s F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, which cleared Early Operational Capability (EOC) with the missile in December 2019, and on the U.S. Air Force’s B-1B Lancer, which cleared EOC with the missile in 2017. Aside from these platforms, the missile is being integrated on the P-8A Poseidon, the progress of which Naval News reported on earlier this year, and on the U.S. Air Force’s B-52 Stratofortress.

The LRASM is an anti-ship missile derived from the U.S. Air Force’s AGM-158 Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile Extended Range (JASSM ER). Originally funded under DARPA, the missile won the Navy’s Offensive Anti-surface Warfare Increment I (OASuW) competition. The OASuW program was initiated to address an Urgent Operational Need for a capable anti-ship missile for US forces in the Pacific area.

LRASM incorporates advanced technologies that allow the missile to be employed in contested environments that are more difficult for existing anti-ship missiles. The missile is equipped with a BAE Systems passive Radio Frequency (RF) seeker on top of the existing Infrared seeker carried over from the JASSM-ER.

The passive RF seeker allows it to detect and home in on ships at long ranges using its Electromagnetic (EM) emissions. The infrared seeker takes over once the missile is close enough and allows it to determine optimal aim points for the target, these aim points are stored internally on the missile. When combined, these capabilities allow LRASM to be used with minimal prior or follow-on reconnaissance support.
