Their respective color schemes go something like this

Machete

Vasco's colors are supposed to resemble sun, gold and honey, he looks warm, inviting and charismatic. Up close his coat has a healthy sheen to it that gives the impression of vitality and understated regalness. I tend to add a little bit of light yellow overlay on him to make it seem like he's glowing softly. He likes dressing in blues, which provide this breezy sky/sea backdrop to his otherwise uniformly tan and brassy fur.

Machete is albinistic so he doesn't have any colors of his own, except white and an array of pale pinks, which come from blood showing though skin and tissue instead of actual pigmentation (he's kind of translucent in a way if you think about it). He dresses nearly exclusively in black and aggressive orangish red, mostly for work reasons of course but also because together they create one of the most striking color combinations. After growing up desaturated and mousy, he craves contrast and vibrancy.

might as well clean out my inbox and use it as a means of warm up if i wanna do wc designs again.

also don't worry about him looking so clean and well-kept here this is him pre-breakup he gets so much worse after squirrelflight breaks up with him but i lacked the energy to rlly clean up the sketch let alone line and color it. he refused to take a bath for months and he's got burn scars from the fire scene. mayb i'll clean it later who knows.

A few months ago, this tumblr account was banned. Not only was I unable to log in, but my friends couldn't see that the blog had ever existed. This was around when a lot of trans girls were posting about how their innocent pictures were marked as explicit, how they'd gotten banned, etc.

It took a few months for tumblr to say something along the lines of "oh, sorry - here's your account back!", with no explanation of why I'd been banned in the first place. This is all to say that this website not only isn't getting better, it's getting worse. Feature-wise, I understand all of the people saying "oh, tumblr is the best social media site, not because it's gotten better, but because everything else has gotten worse". What those people are ignoring is the recent hell that this site puts trans girls through.

This is all to say that I'm not coming back after this post. Thanks, @staff! You're somehow worse than my bio teacher, and my school's tech support team (who took six months to tell me "we care about your privacy that's why we're forcing you to use only google products")

Hey! This is a Warrior Cats Rewrite blog, run by @elios-zosimos-bandy and @syrnaxi.

We're mainly focusing on the original series, The Prophecies Begin, with a side foray into the second series and those events, as well as some of the characters from much earlier in the series from the novellas.
