so, funny thing, i’ve switched stuff around!

now it’s toby, xander {xavier}, and terra are all siblings and cousins to ein {zack’s side} and technically jay {aphmau} but the gats wanted to keep in touch with sylvanna so they spent more time together :) also, terra is the half-sister to toby and xander, terra’s mom is in her first marriage with the boy’s dad and it’s his second marriage

but i’m sure i’ve got some family stories :)

so toby is the oldest, xander is the middle, and terra is the youngest

xander hated growing up in public school with the “oh you’re toby’s brother? how funny is that!” stuff and was obviously uncomfortable and wanting out of the situation

terra loved it, though, and would take pride in it and always make ‘my brothers gonna beat you up’ jokes and already be on good terms with teachers

xander was the closest in age with ein, so they spent the most time together

at one of the family get-togethers, they decided to pour milk down the toilet and not flush. they were like 5 or 6 and came back giggling, and after their grandmother found out what they’d done, they got in trouble {ein got in more trouble than xander because zack and elizabeth were not made to be parents}

terra was close with jay, they constantly had sleepovers in middle school despite their schools being hours apart

when jay was homeschooled terra would try and keep them up to date with what was going on in her school, leading to the misconception of school even more than if it was just anime since terra loved making up stories and forgot to say which were made up

sylvanna was happy that her little girl wasn’t going to be lonely during homeschool and would thank jacob and kristine, who waved it off and said they were glad terra had someone with enough energy to keep up with her

toby would try and help ein once he was old enough to see what’s going on, but ein had already shut himself off from the world. instead, toby kept in contact with him over the years through online games and they loved playing tf2 together

when xander and jay were little, they got on each other’s nerves and would ‘play fight’ as sylvanna called it, but xan’s father would call it wrestling. eventually when they lost their first teeth on separate occasions they had to stop

neither of the kids remember this, just that they lost their teeth while family was over

sylvanna told this story to eric and that’s how jay found out about it, who immediately called terra and told her about it {didn’t have xander’s phone number}

terra loved to be outside in summer all of the time, mostly during sunny days. she would get toby and xander outside too, but terra would forget about sunscreen and get burned

xander used to torture her when she got sunburned, but stopped when he was a tween

toby would usually be the responsible one and bring out water/snacks for all of them, their parents would either read outside as the kids had fun or sing/dance inside

xander was the one who gave terra her tattoo idea, toby took all of them to the parlor when it was getting done. terra doesn’t have great pain tolerance, and her brothers ran in as she waved them off going “everything’s good, just a baby” and wiped a tear away

toby tipped the guy directly for an apology, they laughed and said it was okay and that if it was their family, they would’ve done the same thing

terra understood where ein was on being the half sibling and would try to cheer him up when they were little by making drawings of the gats, marin-filla, and filla family

he forgot that it’s in a box in storage, but remembers her smile and gets happy

they also connect over their half-aquatic sides and always worked together on ocean-themed coloring books

terra was ecstatic to learn that her and jay were going to be roommates in college, and gave a lot of ideas for them to hang out and watch netflix and pizza parlors

jay is allergic to pepperoni, so they’re mostly stuck with cheese, but terra doesn’t mind

there was a running joke between the two that terra would put a slice of pepperoni on what food was hers

jay met, and found out about, ein through toby. after she agreed to be the carrier for aaron and lily’s baby, since her second pregnancy would put her in danger, aaron mentioned toby who introduced the hald-siblings

jay was pissed that sylvanna didn’t tell her about ein and elizabeth, as sylvanna explained everything from her side jay asked what terra saw and got that side and put everything together

jay and ein don’t treat each other as siblings, more like strangers on decent enough terms

jay would be more likely to ask terra or toby to look after levin, malachi, and gabriel if zoey is out of commission

i should probably mention all of the schools everyone went to oopsies

terra, toby, and xander went to falcon high, decent public school

jay went to phoenix drop highschool, fluctuating private school

ein went to scale high, bad public school

jay, xander, and terra went to falcon claw university while toby went into military service and met aaron, ein did online college

Ich muss im Herbst immer an das jährliche Keksebacken mit meiner deutschen Oma denken. Die Frau war Landwirtin, auf einem Hof der schon seit Generationen von ihrer Familie bewirtschaftet wurde. Sie war so ein bisschen...tja, wenn Monty Python ein Skit über deutsche Erziehung und Mangel an Emotionalität gedreht hätten, hätten sie die gute Frau casten können. Erzkonservativ und nicht gerade ein Menschenfreund.

Als Kinder wollten wir auch irgendwie nie so wirklich mit ihr Kekse backen. Ich weiß gar nicht woran's lag-

Wir bekamen erst einmal Schürzen umgebunden, die wahrscheinlich älter waren als der Hof selbst. Oder zumindest so rochen. Unsere aktive Mitarbeit am Entstehungsprozess der Kekse bestand dann daraus, dass wir mal eine Schale mit Mehl oder Zucker halten durften, während Oma mit aggressiver Effizienz ein Blech Spekulatius nach dem nächsten in den Ofen donnerte. Man hatte Mitleid für das Backblech.

Falls ihr noch nie gesehen habt wie Spekulatius gemacht werden: Um diese typischen Motive von krummen Windmühlen und kaum zu erkennenden Tieren zu erzeugen wird der Teig in ein Spekulatiusbrett gedrückt. Dann wird der überschüssige Teig mit einem Draht abgeschnitten:

Und da standen wir halt, leicht verstört, während Omma mit Schwung (und let's be real, wahrscheinlich irgendwelchen lange, lange aufgestauten Emotionen) ihren Teig in diese Bretter knüppelte. Es war das Bild der idealen Großmutter-Enkel-Aktivität.

Omas Lieblingsmotive waren nicht die missratenen Tiere, sondern die auf ihrem sogenannten Heiligenbrett. Die Kekse, die sie mit roher Gewalt mit diesem Brett herstellte sahen alle (angeblich) aus wie christliche Heilige. Bevor sie die auf's Backblech warf hielt sie jeden davon hoch und fragte uns, wer das denn sei. Ich weiß ja nicht wie's euch geht, aber zu meiner Grundschulzeit brachte man uns nicht den kompletten, vollständigen und lückenlosen Kanon der christlichen Heiligen bei. Wir waren aufgeschmissen. Ganz ehrlich, die Drills der US-Marines sind nichts im Vergleich zu einer 1,50 großen erzdeutschen Großmutter, die mit Keks-Schutzpatronen vor dir auf und ab rennt und deine christliche Bildung in Frage stellt.

Okay das mein erster Beitrag und auch eher als Test gedacht.

Das meine Vorstellung, welche Pferde könnten die Jungs von LU in BotW/TotK reiten.

Das wäre:

Ghost für Time (Schimmel von Zelda)

Epona für Twilight (ist sein Pferd)

Golden Boy für Warriors (finde passt einfach)

Mare für Sky (rot, kein sehr schnelles Pferd und ruhig, da ich glaube Sky ist kein so guter Reiter)

Kibô für Wild (ich weiß das echte Pferd von BotW Link hat dunkelbraune Hufe, aber ich find in TotK irgendwie keins, vielleicht hat wer einen Tip für mich wo ich suchen kann)

Fleur für Legend (ist rosa und Blumen wegen Marin)

Toyo für Hyrule (Ich mag die Farbe und es war damals das erste Pferd was ich in BotW gefangen hab)

Spot für Four (weil seine Prinzessin Dot heißt)

Storm für Wind (ist ein blaues Pferd wie der Ozean)

Das sind auch meine aktuellen Pferde die ich in TotK im Stall habe. Ich versuche mich grade an einer Fan Fiktion für Linked Universe und da sollten die Pferde auch ihren Auftritt haben (ob ich das auch hochlade weiß ich jetzt noch nicht, schreiben ist schon nicht einfach)

Pardon My German

Summary: Bob and reader had met on base in Lenore a few years ago. You were quick friends but that changed when Bob asked you on a date to the Hard Deck.

Warnings: drinking, that's it. Fluffy fluff

A quiet "shieße" sounds behind me as I bend over the pool table to take my shot, a smirk playing on my lips. "Pardon my german" Bob apologizes sheepishly. "Someone tell Baby On Board that the phrase is 'pardon my french' " Hangman calls out half jokingly, half condescendingly from the opposite end of the pool table. "I don't know French jackass" Bob retorts playfully. That sent laughter howling around the room, myself included. "Es ist ok, wirklich schatz" I respond with a smile. The laughter then exchanged with "ooh"s from the pilots. "They got you there Bagman" Phoenix eggs on. Hangman holds his hands up in mock surrender, not something he does often. I've seen Hangman staring at me as well. Oh what fun. But Hangman was too cocky for me. And I just could do that to Bob, he's too sweet.

Suddenly a hand lands on my shoulder I grab but the pull (out of reflex) thankfully was interrupted, as I recognize Bob's face. "sorry, sweetie. Old habits die hard". I peck him on the cheek. His face reddens, we look up and everyone is staring. I chuckle nervously, debating on whether I should explain. "Spy! I'm calling it now" Fanboy calls out causing a ruckus of laughter to erupt. "Close, Marine." I say between sharing laughs. "Entschuldigung ich komme aus Amerika, ja?" Bob asked, chuckles rolling off his tongue as the laughter died down. "Yes." "Naah I'm not buyin the Marine thing, definitely an international superspy". Hangman rebutted. I just shake my head and smile. Picking up my cue, I shoot and land the two cueballs in the same pocket.

Three hours, two drinks and 5 shots later Bob and I are swaying together, holding each other, to the slow song Rooster is playing on the piano. My eyes flutter shut as a pair of soft lips start kissing my neck. "Bobby" I whisper, "not here". "I'm just enjoyin my girl, gotta show everyone you're with me", a hazy drunk smile and matching bloodshot eyes greet me when I come face to face with Bob. "Let's get you home sweetie" "nooooo*hiccup*ooo" he whines. I just giggle and lead him by the arm to my car.

Finally getting his seat belt on correctly, Bob decides to turn up the radio. Like A Stone by Audioslave comes through the speakers and Bob slurs along. "You're so beautiful (Y/n)". "I think you're pretty too Bobby, now where do you live sweetpea?"

The next five minutes is spent with Bob laughing his ass off that I called him sweetpea. "I just stay on base, the bunkersss". A loud gasp scares the shit out of me, causing me to swerve a little.. "Bob are you okay?!" I look to see where the blood was coming from, to my surprise he's fine. Just drunk. "I want some fucking cookies" Bob glares at me as a loud guffaw escapes me. "We can get cookies tomorrow darlin". I pull into the base parking lot after the MPs let us pass. "I like it when you call me darlin. I'm holding to you the cookies ma'am". I laugh to myself as I think that that made more sense in his head. He leans over the counsel and sloppily kisses me. We make out for a few seconds, pulling away out of breath. "get some sleep bobby, call me in the mornin and we can get some breakfas". Bob just smiled and tells me I'm beautiful again as a response.

I watch his cute butt as he disappears into the building. I rest my own swimming head on the steering wheel. I almost fall asleep before a knock at my window startles me. Rolling down my window I look to the MP, "Ma'am you need to leave." Nodding yes I throw the hearse in reverse (I put my hearse in reverse, gonna go for a drive up to the cemetery get inside) and back out of the parking lot. Homeward bound.

I wonder why Till picked eels as his tattoo. I mean, it’s a big one! I guess we’ll never know.

Now I understand what they meant when they said “everything he does is extreme”. Most people get a tattoo, then maybe another one, and he goes in and -bam!- covers his entire back.

The eel nest... That's a good question ! It's true that it's a big tattoo, and according to the tattoo artist, Till didn't move an inch during the days he worked on it, I really don't know how he did it but as he has a great resistance to pain, that must help.

Only Till, and maybe the artist who tattooed it, know the true meaning of this tattoo, so I can only offer you interpretations (this is going to be a long answer) (and before anyone asks, yes I had researched the meaning of eels before, I know it's weird).

There are two mentions of eels in Till's works : the first explicit in Knebel's video ; and the second in the lyrics of the song 'Mutter' ("In ihren Lungen wohnt ein Aal" / "An eel lives in her lungs").

Knebel's version is interesting because according to Éloïse Mozzani : "Ingesting the hot heart gives the talent of prophecy and [...] it "will bring back to life everything that will be presented, and will restore it to life as before". (I don't remember any other mentions either in the lyrics or in the poems...)

It is Knebel's video that is chosen by artist Randy Engelhardt in his presentation of Till's tattoo.

The eel is a snake-like fish with a slimy body, reduced fins, able to breathe out of the water and which lives in rivers, ponds and meadows but goes to the middle of the oceans to lay there. It is sometimes confused with the snake, and therefore its symbolism too, just as it resembles the serpent and the dragon of the Middle Ages.

In French, there is an expression which says : "il y a anguille sous roche" (literally "there are eels under the rock") which amounts to expressing one's perplexity vis-à-vis a situation that one considers questionable. A second expression says : "filer comme une anguille" ("flee like an eel") which is said of something that escapes without being able to hold it, on which nothing can be founded.

The eel is intimately linked to water as an element and to the moon as a guide because eels find their way thanks to the moon. And indeed, a study conducted at the Norwegian Institute of Marine Research has just confirmed that the moon influences the migration of these fish.

For Jean Chevalier and Alain Gheerbrant in their 'Dictionary of symbols' : "The eel - for us elusive and a symbol of dissimulation - is linked both to the snake by its morphology and to aquatic symbols by its habitat. It was, in the Ancient Egypt, the emblem of the Harsomtous of Dendera, rising sun, symbol of the primordial manifestation emerging from the waters. A familiar animal in Japan, it is considered there as a divine messenger : iconography associates it with the turtle. [...] At a lower level, the eel unites the symbolisms of the snake and water. It has kept a sexual connotation in modern slang which sometimes uses the image "eel in the underwear" to designate the penis."

In my native region, Brittany (West of France), the eel is sacred, as Éloïse Mozzani confirms in her book 'The Book of Superstitions, Myths, Beliefs and Legends' : "According to a belief in the Middle Ages, eating eel was harmful to the voice and made young girls sassy with men. However, these few pernicious effects were nothing compared to the magical and medicinal properties attributed to a fish whose divine character the ancient Egyptians recognized - only priests were authorized to consume it - just like the Bretons of the last century and the Japanese who still consider it a divine messenger."

For Didier Colin author of the 'Dictionary of symbols, myths and legends' : "[...] the eel is a symbol of secrecy, mystery, concealment, but also of something which escapes us, which slips between the fingers, which one cannot retain, grasp, understand. However, because it lives in clear waters, it has a much less bad reputation than the snake. [...] The appearance of an eel in a dream can therefore announce to you that "there is an eel under the rock", that is to say that you are being told something that you will not take long to learn, or that you are hiding a a fact of which you will soon have the revelation ; Similarly, in the tradition of omens, seeing a living eel swimming at the surface of the water is the announcement of a secret that will be revealed to us or of a confidence that will be made to us. to find an eel under a rock is to learn a surprising fact that we did not know, but which nevertheless existed without our knowledge. To see a dead eel is to discover a fact relating to a past circumstance or an event which is no longer relevant, but which was concealed from us in its time, or of which we were fooled."

For Melissa Alvarez, author of 'Meet Your Energy Animal', the eel is defined by the following characteristics : "The eel symbolizes transformation, mystery, disguise and hiding. The eel is excellent at using camouflage to protect itself from predators. It is fast and swims by moving her body in a sinusoidal fashion. The eel's electric shock can produce a six hundred volt shock that paralyzes its prey. The eel tends to have poor vision, and it relies on its radar-like sense of perception to search for food. During the day, she buries herself in the mud and rests there until she is ready to go back to hunting. It talents are : Attractiveness ; Ability to relate ; Flexible ; Privacy ; Night ; Sens of observation ; Sensuality ; Vitality. And it challenges : Evasive ; Reserve ; Too cautious ; Lonely ; Fleeing."

John Matthews makes it a powerful totem in his book 'Celtic Animal Totems, A Shamanic Journey to Meet Your Allied Animal' : "A great source of wisdom and inspiration like the salmon (on which it feeds), the he eel also has a reputation for protection. Irish mythology suggests that certain eels could transform into destructive weapons when wielded by a warrior. This is how the name of the famous spear Gae-Bolg belonging to Cuchulainn, comes from the Eel Morrigan herself assumes the form of an eel in magical combat with Cuchulainn. Given its ability to insinuate itself into the least accessible places, the eel is an ally of choice when seeking the answer to a difficult question, requiring subtlety and flexibility in its approach. Totem precepts :

Pathfinder : Anything can go like water flows.

Protector : Beware of treacherous currents.

Challenger : Actions always have consequences.

Hint : The deep waters contain treasures."

There must surely be other meanings to this animal, and an intimate meaning specific to Till of which only he can speak. But I think it might give you some directions...

Tom Wlaschiha gilt als einer der wenigen deutschen Schauspieler, die den Sprung nach Hollywood geschafft haben. International bekannt wurde er durch die Rolle des Jaqen H’ghar in der bekannten Serie “Game of Thrones” sowie der des Dmitrii Antonov in “Stranger Things”.

GQ: Tom, Sie haben mal in einem Interview gesagt, “Erfolg sei von vielen Faktoren abhängig”. Wie haben Sie es geschafft, da hinzukommen, wo Sie heute sind? Tom Wlaschiha: Ich liebe meinen Beruf und ich hatte nie einen Plan B. Erfolg kann man nicht planen, der passiert dir im besten Fall. Ich habe jede berufliche Gelegenheit mitgenommen, die sich mir geboten hat, weil ich glaube, dass man bei jedem Job etwas lernen kann. Das Ganze ist aber definitiv ein Marathon, kein Sprint.

Sie sind neuer Botschafter für die Uhrenmarke Panerai. Welche Rolle spielt Zeit in Ihrem Leben? Je mehr ich beruflich unterwegs bin und arbeite, desto kostbarer wird natürlich die freie Zeit, die ich nur für mich habe. Aber ich will mich nicht beschweren, das sind ja alles meine Entscheidungen. Ich finds aber auch wichtig, ab und zu mal bewusst nichts zu tun und richtig schön Zeit totzuschlagen.

Was ist Ihr größter Zeitfresser?  Vermutlich mein Handy.

Die Uhrenbranche ist aktuell sehr gesättigt. Was macht für Sie persönlich ein perfektes Uhrendesign aus? Was Uhren oder Schmuck oder Design ganz allgemein betrifft, bin ich sehr minimalistisch. Eine Uhr soll das können, wofür sie gebaut wurde. Ich muss nicht mit meiner Uhr sprechen oder mir von ihr Mails vorlesen lassen. Mich fasziniert die große Tradition und Handwerkskunst, die Uhren wie die von Panerai verbinden. In jeder von ihr stecken Hunderte Stunden Handarbeit. Panerai Uhren wurden ursprünglich für die italienische Marine gefertigt und das sieht man ihnen auch heute noch an. Sie sind von einer perfekten Schlichtheit im besten Wortsinn und einer unbestechlichen Funktionalität.

Die richtige Uhr am Handgelenk zu tragen, wird für viele Menschen immer wichtiger. Ist die Uhr für Sie Status- oder Identitätssymbol? Eine Uhr trage ich für mich selbst und niemanden sonst, ein kleines Kunstwerk, das ich immer dabei habe und über das ich mich freue.

Sehen Sie sich in der Schauspielbranche eher als Dienstleister oder Künstler? Hmm.... jetzt geht ́s an mein Schauspieler-Ego. Jeder Schauspieler sieht sich, glaube ich, gern als Künstler, ich befürchte aber, dass man oft Dienstleister ist, was ja nicht per se negativ ist. Film und speziell Fernsehen sind in erster Linie ein Geschäft, in dem man funktionieren und wo man sehr oft unter Zeitdruck abliefern muss. Ich versuch dann aber doch schon immer, ein kleines bisschen Kunst mit reinzupacken. Die Abhängigkeiten der Schauspielbranche

Wie geht man mit dem Gefühl um, in der Branche ständig davon abhängig zu sein, dass jemand etwas in einem sieht und einen besetzt? Das kann durchaus frustrierend sein, besonders wenn man jung und ungeduldig ist und gerade mit dem Beruf anfängt. Es hilft dann, sich bewusst zu machen, dass Ablehnung meist nicht persönlich gemeint ist. Und dann muss man die Zähne zusammenbeißen und weiter machen.

Sie spielen in Ihren Filmen und Serien die unterschiedlichsten Charaktere. Gibt es Rollen, von denen man eine Art Entzugsphase braucht oder bei denen man Angst hat, dass sie einen nachhaltig verändern? Nein, die Rolle bleibt nach Drehschluss immer am Set. Ich mag Rollen, die komplett anders sind als ich, das ist ja der große Spaß an dem Beruf. Aber am Ende ist Schauspiel Technik, sonst wären die Wartezimmer von Psychologen voll von Schauspielern mit Identitätskrisen.

Welche Rolle hat Sie bisher am meisten geprägt und warum? Ich glaube nicht, dass mich irgendeine Rolle geprägt hat. Was prägt, ist die Arbeit mit Regisseuren und Kollegen, und die Momente, in denen man das Gefühl hat, dass man Grenzen verschiebt und neue Dinge gelingen. In dieser Hinsicht war zum Beispiel “Das Boot” eine tolle Erfahrung. Meine Rolle dort war über drei Staffeln extrem vielschichtig und ambivalent, hat verschiedene Sprachen gesprochen und mir erlaubt, viele Facetten zu zeigen.

Als Schauspieler kann man, wenn es gerade gut läuft, gutes Geld verdienen, um dann auch wieder eine längere Zeit auf eine konstante Einnahmequelle verzichten zu müssen. Sind Sie gut im Sparen? Zum Glück nicht so gut, dass ich nicht mehr arbeiten müsste.

Welche Rolle spielt Geld in Ihrem Leben? Es beruhigt.

Im Schauspielbusiness ist Ihr Äußeres Ihr Arbeitswerkzeug, Sie selbst wurden auf einem Campingplatz in Sardinien bei einem Schönheitswettbewerb sogar schon mal Zweiter. Sollte man eher eitel oder eher uneitel sein, um in der Branche gut zurechtzukommen? Ein Schauspieler, der von sich behauptet, nicht eitel zu sein, ist vermutlich falsch in dem Beruf. Es geht aber darum, diese Eitelkeit in den Dienst der Sache zu stellen und nicht zum Selbstzweck werden zu lassen. Besagter Wettbewerb in Italien ist auch schon 30 Jahre her, seitdem bröckelt es bei mir an vielen Ecken und Enden. Haben es gutaussehende Menschen Ihrer Ansicht nach vor der Kamera leichter? Das halte ich für ein Gerücht. Es geht um Charisma, nicht um eine glatte Oberfläche.

Sie sind in diesem Jahr 50 Jahre alt geworden. Welche eine Sache würden Sie heute im Rückblick anders machen? Ich bin nicht sehr sentimental und versuche, im Hier und Jetzt zu leben. Fehler zu machen und Sachen auszuprobieren, gehört dazu.

Welche Lebensziele haben Sie sich für die zweite Lebenshälfte gesetzt? Ich hoffe, dass erst Halbzeit ist und ich nicht zu früh ausgewechselt werde.

Was würden Sie Ihrem jüngeren Ich, das am Anfang seiner Karriere stand, heute für einen alles entscheidenden Rat geben? Den Rat gibt es zum Glück nicht, weil jeder Weg individuell ist. Ich würde aber jedem in egal welchem Beruf immer ermutigen, groß zu träumen.

Wie stehen Sie dazu, dass die Reichweite in den sozialen Medien auch in der Schauspielbranche immer mehr zur neuen Währung zu werden scheint? Das fände ich bedenklich. Ich hoffe, dass Reichweite niemals Talent ersetzt.

Sie gelten als Vorbild des deutschen Schauspielers, der es in Hollywood geschafft. Der größte Unterschied zwischen der Arbeit drüben und hier? Das Geld, das eine Produktion hat, und das die Möglichkeiten bestimmt. Und der gnadenlose Optimismus der Amerikaner, die Bereitschaft, immer neue Wege zu gehen, auch wenn man mal scheitert.

Wovor haben Sie mit Blick auf die Gesellschaft aktuell am meisten Angst? Es scheint immer weniger Pragmatismus zu geben. Es geht zunehmend nur noch um Extreme. Die Bereitschaft, sich andere Positionen anzuhören und Kompromisse zu suchen und zu akzeptieren, wird immer geringer.

Spielt es sich mit dem Gedanken an all die Krisen als Schauspieler aktuell schwerer? Es gab schon immer Krisen. Aber mittlerweile wird man das Gefühl nicht los, dass wir in einem permanenten Krisenmodus leben. Eine Krise löst die andere ab. Und das wird auch von den Medien suggeriert und befeuert. Ich bin an einem Punkt, wo ich da auch mal abschalte, meiner mentalen Gesundheit zuliebe.

In einem Interview sagten Sie, Ihr liebstes Hobby sei Schlafen. Schlafen wir in unserer Multitasking-Welt alle zu wenig? Das war natürlich nur halb ernst gemeint. Aber ich versuche schon, Probleme nicht mit ins Bett zu nehmen, dann schläft es sich besser. Und es geht nichts über eine kleine Siesta tagsüber, wenn ich nicht gerade am Set stehe.

Leider muss ich immer noch arbeiten, sodass wir bei diesem herrlichen Sonnenwetter nicht am frühen Morgen rausfahren konnten. In der Mittagspause genossen wir ein Eis aus dem Landhandel, herrlich erfrischend😊.

Gegen 17:00 Uhr wollten wir rausfahren, doch die Marine, die sich hier schon seit Tagen präsentiert, machte uns einen Strich durch die Rechnung. Das Kriegsschiff (eins der schnellsten Militärschiffe der Welt) kam bis zur unserer Anlage und die ballerten hier mit Platzpatronen rum, das war so laut!!!

Ganz ehrlich Leute, wenn wir Glück haben, hat jeder von uns ca 80 Jahre auf dieser Erde. Was soll dieser ganze Krieg? Chillt mal ‚n bisschen!!!

Jedenfalls fuhren wir gegen 18:00 Uhr raus zum Bunker, ebenfalls bewaffnet mit Köderfisch und Reeker. Diese kleinen verflixten Dinger😊. Wir hatten sofort Bisse, leider nur kleine Tangdorsche😢. Aber wir setzten immer wieder zurück und ließen uns an den Tiefenlinien treiben. Man kann schon sagen, dass es am meisten an der 40m Linie ruppelte. Und dann hatte ich ihn endlich…meinen ersten Leng😊!

Hänger hatten wir ebenfalls unzählige, wer weiß, was da unten liegt. Vermutlich das letzte Atom U-Boot aus dem 2. Welltkrieg.

Ich muss lernen, denn meine Anhiebe…es gingen sooo viele ins Leere! Aber wenn das so zuppelt und ich merke, dass die Rutenspitze sich nach unten neigt, Ich kann mich nicht beherrschen!

Everybody's Lieblingdirigentin Marin Alsop beklagt nicht zu unrecht an Tàr, nun gäbe es endlich mal einen Film über eine lesbische Dirigentin, und dann missbraucht sie ihre Macht. Als Lanze für die Akzeptanz von Frauen im Konzertbetrieb ist es aufgrund mangelnder Sympathiewerte für die Titelheldin tatsächlich nicht wirklich ideal, so kommt der gute alte Maestro hier jetzt halt wieder besser weg. Aber es ist natürlich ein aufregender und überraschender Film, und einmal mehr eine ganz fabelhafte Cate-Blanchett-Darbietung, obwohl sie mir so richtig toll nicht zu dirigieren scheint, aber das liegt, wie da schon angedeutet, möglichweise auch wieder am alten Maestro hier.

Arbeitswahn und Antisemitismus

Die fanatischsten Lobpreiser der Arbeit waren schon immer zugleich die schlimmsten Antisemiten: Von Marin Luther, dem Vordenker des »protestantischen Arbeitsethos« und Autor des Pamphlets »Von den Juden und ihren Lügen«, über den Industriellen Henry Ford, den Autor des Machwerks »Der internationale Jude«, für den es »nichts Abscheulicheres« gab »als ein müßiges Leben«, bis zum Führer der nationalsozialistischen Volksgemeinschaft. Hitler proklamierte in »Mein Kampf« den »Sieg des Gedankens der schaffenden Arbeit, die selbst ewig antisemitisch war und antisemitisch sein wird«. Wie ernst er das gemeint hatte, konnte man später über den Toren der Vernichtungslager nachlesen: »Arbeit macht frei«. Die Linke hingegen polemisierte gegen die schmarotzenden Müßiggänger und wünschte sich »Arbeiter- und Bauernstaaten«, anstatt die Menschen vom elenden Dasein als Arbeiter zu befreien. Der Arbeitsfanatismus links wie rechts sieht die ehrliche Arbeit um ihren gerechten Lohn betrogen, sei es durch die »Zinsknechtschaft« oder die keineswegs nur von der Antiglobalisierungsbewegung so inbrünstig gehassten »Spekulanten«. Die Agitation geht gegen »die da oben«, gegen die »Bonzen und Parasiten«, die lieber konspirieren als durch anständige Arbeit etwas zum Volkswohlstand beizutragen.

Der Hass auf das unterstellte oder tatsächliche arbeitslose Einkommen ist nicht nur eine falsche, sondern angesichts seiner Ressentimenthaftigkeit und seiner Verherrlichung des Staats eine äußerst gefährliche Antwort auf gesellschaftliche Krisenerscheinungen und ungleiche Reichtumsverteilung
