How do you feel about Edmund being last place in the popularity poll?

We admit that it's a little sad to know that Edmund is the least favorite Save the Villainess character so far... but someone had to be on the bottom and frankly, we're happy (but pleased) that at least Jane, our amazing villainess protagonist, was not!

That said, we're very happy to know that Edmund has some ardent fans already! He's a very complex and enjoyable character and, like literally everyone else in the cast (maybe even the villainess herself...), he is hiding some fascinating secrets. Plus, we created Edmund to be both a deconstruction and then a reconstruction of the "perfect prince" trope that is all over otome isekai stories (as well as much of fantasy literature) and his character arc is one of the most unusual and fascinating ones within Save the Villainess.

Suffice to say that Edmund's route (which has already been plotted and outlined) takes this character on a real journey of discovery... one where he has to re-examine everything he ever knew about himself and his world. So even if you choose not to get romantically entangled with Edmund, you will see him going through an amazing transformation... one that we rarely see in fantasy literature involving royalty and nobility.

We would also like to state for the record that Edmund also has broken the world record for blushes per minute and that he just gets cuter each times he blushes.

This is science.
