Roleswap/Species Swap Au that's been bouncing around in my head for a while (i blame this amazing art of Oscar/Ward as aliens here) original dialogue/source/comic from marble sky by @somerandomdudelmao

Sculptor: Hey, Captain? Sculptor: What's our protocol for encountering alien life. Ecliptica: uh huh, uh huh Sculptor: Captain, look Ecliptica: look at whaaAAA Sculptor: we're so dead Ecliptica: I'LL PROTECT YOU

Sculptor is a scientist who got approval to collect samples from other planets in person, despite not being entirely qualified for space travel. Ecliptica is the captain of the ship, and is aware she'll lose her job if Sculptor does something stupid and gets hurt. They didn't even leave orbit before getting kidnapped. Ecliptica <- slightly taller (than Sculptor) defense-based space outfit (claws, spikes, etc)

I just love Marble Sky by @somerandomdudelmao. I don't think I've ever made fanart for a comic before, but I already have portraits sketched out for all the other major characters.

I mean, romcom? Space horror? Aliens? Morally questionable scientists? Tired Guy and Wants to Touch Everything Guy dynamic? Shapeshifters? My friends can attest, it's all I've talked about for the past two weeks.
