Hi Swifties! Now that I have partially recovered from this weekend I wanted to share what I wore to my very first Taylor show! Unfortunately they’re all selfies because I went to the show by myself and didn’t want to keep bothering people to take my picture. More pics and details under the cut!!!

Most of my outfit was originally planned for Lover Fest, so I’ve actually been working on it since before the pandemic! I wanted to recreate my own version of Taylor’s Entertainment Weekly cover with all of the pins of her favorite things. Well, my taste in shows and etc is um… vastly different than Taylor’s! So I am covered in pins for all of my fandoms. It has taken me almost 4 years to assemble all of them and I still don’t feel satisfied that I have all my fandoms represented, but I ran out of time!

Then I’m just wearing all pink to be more Lover-ish. I like to think of my pink pants as good luck (even more so now!) because I bought them to wear to my first Harry Styles (solo) concert in 2018 and it was the show he sang “You’re Still The One” with Kacey Musgraves! So I don’t wear them regularly but I have them around for special occasions and they brought me good luck with my surprise songs! (Holy Ground and False God?!?! I’m still thinking about it)

I had to add the headband with the lyrics to “Style” when this became my Eras Tour outfit, though. That is still my favorite Taylor song of all time, so I wanted to acknowledge it. And I got some awesome fanmade Swiftie earrings and a 13 tattoo for my hand so I didn’t have to try to draw it. I was going to draw the Lover heart on my face but I chickened out at the last minute 🫣

And then at the very last minute I decided I wanted to make a goofy little sign just to have on hand when I was taking pictures, so I went with another fandom reference to go with my jacket.

If anyone is interested, I’ll take some more pictures of the jacket so you can see all my pins up close!

I have been a Swiftie since I started listening to Fearless as a baby little 18 year old and I finally, finally got to go to a show!!!! (If you’re reading this and you’re 18 I’m not calling you a baby - I just very much was at that age smh 🫣) Anyways, thanks for reading! 💕

Some thoughts about Dorothy in the Karma Music Video 🥰

I love that she used Dorothy in her video. For all of you wondering why:

Dorothy symbolises the every girl. She is a dreamer and an optimist. She also represents American values in the story of wizard of Oz.

That was Taylor was and wanted to be when she was younger. She was a hopeless dreamer. She was always the good girl. That was what everyone wanted her to be (remember Miss Americana).

Also the things that the story teaches:

1) believe in yourself! That's what she did when everything was taken from her and she's on her way to get it back and that leads to

2)There’s no place like home

Home is her music which will be finally hers again soon.

3)Even the greatest and most powerful man may be a fake
