my partner got a scam text claiming to be from a road toll company from a city we do not live in, in a state we do not live in (our state does not even have toll roads). it's like getting ads for brands we just fully do not have here.
but anyway I'm adding toll roads to my list of reasons to never move to Melbourne.
also if you get a text claiming to be from eastlink about unpaid tolls obviously don't follow the link they send lol just check ur account on the website if you even have one (i had never even heard of them before)

ive had a shit week ok and also like i need to pay eastlink but the site is down. i need an installment system on my fine but they wont just give u one they have to get you to upload all your income info first and i cant deal with that. i go ok ill buy that wifi extender ive been meaning to buy and the jaycar website is down. i go to play ffxiv and theres an update, of course i forgot i havent played in 3 months of course there is an update. and itll take over an hour to download.
i still havent got a full nights sleep in my new house. i slept til 12:30 today to try and catch up on sleep (i usually wake up at like 730 on the weekend)
anyway these are just the small things i wanted to vent about lol bigger things happened and im just o|-<

Pictured below is Mark E. Smith from The Fall, no introduction needed I guess. Probably a bit weird that only after 84 episodes we use a picture from The Fall on the Tumblr page, one of the most played bands in our radio show (and yes, we do think about the photos we use on this page, I actually have a list of the photos used so as not to use a photo of the same band twice). It’s already been 5 years since Mark E. Smith passed away, and even though I’m a fan of their older work, still he is missed. The track I played in this show, Solicitor In Studio, comes from the Room To Live album, generally considered as not one of their best, but I disagree with that general opinion. Yes, it was released in between two master pieces, Hex Enduction Hour and Perverted By Language (my favorite album of the band), but that does not mean it’s a bad album. It’s useful to read Stephen Hanley’s book to know the circumstances under which the album was recorded (not ideal, i would say), but the result is a Fall album that has its place in their discography.
By the way, I know I am a bit late with this post and the only reason isthat sometimes inspiration to write something is lacking. Let me know if you read this and if these posts are interesting for you. It would be much easier for me to just post playlists but if you’re interested in my writings about the bands I play, you should let me know and I’ll do my best to continue. As large amounts of snow continue to batter the Maritimes from the slow-moving weather system on Sunday, some schools have closed for Monday, with the list of closures and cancellations growing. Snowfall warnings are still in effect Sunday for parts of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, with some parts expected to see an additional 30 to 50 centimeters of snow.
The Halifax Regional Municipality is asking people to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary to allow crews to clear snow safely.
Areas of northern Nova Scotia are expected to see around 15 to 25 centimeters of snow, which will continue into Monday before tapering to flurries throughout the day. Environment Canada warns that conditions will deteriorate later Sunday and that visibility may be reduced to near zero at times of heavy and blowing snow. Eastern Nova Scotia is expected to see the worst of it, as Environment Canada says the area will see around 30 to 50 centimeters of snow, which will continue into Monday. Conditions are also expected to deteriorate further on Sunday as winds and snowfall intensify and visibility is reduced.
Cape Breton Police are asking people to avoid driving unless absolutely necessary. As they say, they have received multiple calls of stuck vehicles on roadways blocking snow removal and access for emergency vehicles. Winter storm warnings have also been issued for Kings and Queens Counties in P.E.I., which is expected to see an additional 15 to 35 centimeters. The highest amounts of snowfall in that region are expected over eastern P.E.I., where they may see up to 35 centimeters. Parts of Queens County may only see 15 centimeters by Monday morning.
The parking ban in Halifax will also continue all day Sunday as crews work to clean up snow, and it will continue overnight into Monday. Transit services in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality were also canceled all day Sunday due to the weather.
Power outages have been scattered across the region, with the majority being in Nova Scotia.
The by-election for District 19 in P.E.I. scheduled for Monday may be postponed if the conditions do not improve by Monday morning.
Irving Shipbuilding has also closed all day and afternoon shifts for the day, with updates regarding the back shift to come later Sunday evening. Sunday’s game between Grand Falls Rapids and the Pictou Country Weeks Crushers at the Pictou County Wellness Center has been postponed due to the weather.
The game on Sunday between the Amherst Ramblers and Truro Bearcats at the Rath Eastlink Community Center was also postponed to 7 p.m. on Tuesday due to the weather.
