My mind has been plagued with this au so now I'm making it everyone else's problem as well :)

This time I started thinking more about the main cast and how this au would actually look like in a "sonic" game. Took inspiration from a few of my favorite games to have missions be separated into 2 parts, a high speed intro where you're trying to get to your destination (KIU style), and then the rest is a side scroll puzzle oriented crawl (Think metroid but with much less backtracking to keep the pace fast).

Perhaps SatAM's weirdest addition to Sonic's friend group - Dulcy! She was also weird in context of the show seeing as A) she just.... appeared one episode without explanation with the other characters acting like she'd been there from the start, and B) the show did almost nothing with the fact that there are apparently dragons out there! Where's my terrifying aerial battle with roboticized!Sabina?

Sam Maxwell wasn't to everyone's taste, and that's fair- his style is pretty off-beat. But you know what? I always did like this image, showcasing Archie Sonic heroes and villains like this. I always liked the way how the stark black and whites and the heavy inks gave it such an intense feel. It's one of those images that almost feels like a 'Platonic Ideal' of Archie Sonic for me, even if Julian never did get to encounter Von Stryker or Mogul.

Ah well, I still love it.
