All my Camilo head canons in one post because I can’t keep track of them

• He is gay! At one point he questioned being bi but the older he got it became clear he was just into boys.

•His family has described him to have ‘cat-like’ tendencies such as sleeping on high places and being very reactive to being sprayed with water

•Loves very spicy foods. Isabela attempted to prank him by putting an extremely hot sauce in his dinner, but it backfired and he ate the whole thing. Ended up wanting more and was confused when the ‘kick’ was gone.

•Has zero game. Like none. Cannot get a date someone has to want to date him first.

•Although he lives up to his title as jerk cousin he is surprisingly sensitive and has good emotional intelligence. He knows when and when not to mess with someone based on their mood and this is likely due to spending time with his mother.

•Him and Mirabel fight a lot but have a close relationship, even if it dwindled pre-movie.

•If this were to take place in a modern AU the family would absolutely have him shift into a younger kid for discounts at restaurants. He gets extremely pissed and therefore doesn’t like eating out unless it’s his birthday and it’s guaranteed they won’t make him shift.

•Claustrophobic as all hell

•Specifically hates cruises in terms of vacations. Doesn’t like knowing he cannot leave the ship makes him feel trapped.

•At one point Antonio out grows him and he actually looks close to blowing up a building

•Does theater (obviously) and has scored a good part in nearly every show he has done he is an extremely talented actor and singer

•Is good with the arts in general. Great at writing, visual arts, dancing etc

•Not so great with school. Struggles to understand concepts.

•Thinks he is incredibly stupid and def suffers from imposter syndrome. He is naive sometimes, not clueless.

•if he ever begins crying in public he will randomly stand in a corner pretending he is admiring the paint on the wall

•ALWAYS warm. He loves winter months because he isn’t dying from the heat. During sleepovers with the grandkids he often gets shoved into the middle because dude is just radiating heat

•Tolerant to gore and horror but draws the line at extreme body horror

•Does not have a good reaction time he will always be the last to turn his head

•The towns number one baby sitter. He is very good with kids and a lot of the town kids adore him.

•Messes with Félix a lot but if anything goes wrong in his life ever he runs to him like a scared wet cat.

•Has Julieta’s HEART. He plays coy around her to get free food. However he does really love his aunt a lot and enjoys her company and loves helping her in the kitchen.

The Details of Genderbend Naoya Au:

Just a collection of my thought process and ramblings about this collection of drawings to scratch the itch in my brain.

General ramblings:

This is not a fleshed out au. There isn't much of a storyline and I don't exactly know if I will ever make one.

The au doesn't follow the jjk canon apart from some general things like Toji leaving Megumi and Tsumiki etc.

The ‘story’ follows Naoya Zenin after an accident that should have killed him instead leaves him unscathed. That is, until he wakes up the next day with a girl's body, a kogane companion, and the ability to see strange creatures (cursed spirits) and people who should have been long dead.

Bro is basically now part of a culling game-esque event involving people who were saved from death like him, those who died long ago and were resurrected, and creatures that should have never entered the living realm. Some people such as him with bad karma for their actions, are given certain handicaps and/or punishments when they're brought back from death. Hence girl-Naoya.

But, by destroying the souls of beings with even more bad karma than you, you can gain points that will give you access to abilities (cursed techniques) or lessen your own punishment or handicap.

The Kogane function the same here as they do in canon.

Basically, this is me drawing fem Naoya with a bunch of extra steps 💀

Drawing one:

A lot of the ‘story’ of this au just happened randomly as I was doodling, Kenjaku and Takaba running Naoya over being part of that.

I wanted to draw Naoya reacting to him becoming a girl for the shits and giggle, yk, the sillies

And before I knew it I had Naoya getting run over by a truck 💀

The reason Takaba is the driver is because of that one scene in Kenjaku vs Takaba, Kenjaku is in the passenger's seat just because.

There is no reason as to what they're singing besides me wanting them to have been distracted by something goofy

You might have noticed Naoya is holding something. Idk what it is though

Its like….a wand…a club…? It's based off his first form as a cursed spirit, the one where he looks like a worm

Yes, his shirt does indeed say “why women deserve less”. It's based on that one fanart of him reading a book with the same title.

Drawing two:

The first thing I thought of when I imagined Naoya going on a ‘quest’ to become a man again was that ant carrying a bindle.

(It gives pathetic energy, which i enjoy giving my Naoya drawings)

This is actually my first time drawing Hana, I actually like drawing her

I'm so sorry to people who like Nobara and Maki, I can't draw them that well 😭😭😭

I'm thinking Hana/Angel are trying to fix whatever is going on with the souls of the deceased/players, and are thus gathering allies (though they also want to defeat a certain king of curses even in this au as well 👀)

Naoya ends up joining her, Maki, and Nobara as allies (no one is happy about this)

They will put him in his place, especially Maki.

(I wonder what would happen if he met Yuki…)

Naoya and Hana is a combination I didn't think I'd ever draw interacting tbh 💀

But for some reason that's what ended up happening

Other thoughts:

It's so cute how the kogane have different designs sometimes based on who they belong to. It reminds me of the crows in kny.

I wonder if they're meant to represent something about each player???

For example, the one we see with Naoya when we're first introduced to his curse form has a skull like face, which we later see on Naoya's second curse form.

His looks so crusty and I love it

I rlly wanted it to be his companion in this au

Honestly, I was thinking Naoya upon turning into a girl would try everything he could to make himself look more traditionally masculine

But I still wanted to draw him in a skirt, you know, because

So…uh…yeah 👍

His ass doesn't even want to be a woman, but let's be fr, he be styling his hair in the mirror or some shit thinking things like ‘if only every woman paid half as much attention to how she holds herself as me!’ Thinking he's giving everyone a good example or something 💀

Mickey's Bong From Mars

This game's taglines include "An adventure* is out of this world (*weed)", "Go for the high score", and "This game has highs and even more highs, no lows." It is very similar to Earthworm Jim and Journey, but it is also similar to a toy for babies that makes animal noises. Most of the game is a cutscene, with one button press about every 20 minutes. While Goofy has his normal voice, Mickey is voiced very seriously. It was released on the Switch, but was also released on mobile, where you can pay for Mickey Coins in order to buy skins for Billy Bong as well as to be able to finish the game at all.

Billy Bong from Mars crashed on Earth and is now trying to get back to Mars. It bonded to Mickey Mouse, the first person who smoked out of it, so he imprinted to Mickey and thus mimicked his face. Mickey is high and wondering where he got gloves, because if skin is a glove for the body, and gloves are gloves for the hands, what is gloves for gloves? He is also very worried about bugs running down his legs, but it is actually him peeing himself.

Educational Duck Armageddon

This game consists of a single screen in which a duck yells urgently, in panic, at you to complete math problems in order to save everybody's life. His wife is the first female president and is also a duck, and she will be killed if you fail at the math problems, because the kidnapper (who may or may not be a duck himself) has stipulated that the husband cannot finish them, and he must have somebody else complete the math. It is the purge. When the president dies, she says "You didn't remember PEMDAS". Once you beat the game, it shows the duck and his family eating peas while the victory music from Final Fantasy plays, entirely composed of quacks. At some point, the duck yells at you to figure out the dimensions of his house, or else the floor will disappear and they will all fall into the center of the Earth.

The game includes microtransactions for the kidnapper's Wife-Knife.

Other games in this series see other members of the duck's family being kidnapped, including his child, his other child, and his father. There are also other subjects, such as biology and geography, in which the duck yells at you to name a point on the map at which his father is kidnapped.

Beautiful Blood Bastards

Known as "Triple B", this game controls with slippery ragdoll physics. The game has pixel graphics. The game was made in Japan, so it includes nonsense English words on the clothing. In the original Japanese, the titular Blood Bastards were named 7 and Up, but, due to copyright concerns, they were renamed to Kevin Number and Jack Jump in America. The more you punch, the more blood appears on the floor, and the more slippery the physics become. You can also pick up baseball bats and other weapons from the sidewalk. The Blood Bastards put on clothing from the enemies they kill.

Cross-Drawing Lore

These games were introduced together in a triple-pack. Their plots tie together, no matter which game you play first, and they end together at the same point. The Blood Bastards arrive to save the president's daughter, where there is a duck yelling at them to do math in order to save his wife, meanwhile Mickey, very high, contemplates his existence as a cartoon character on the side.

Zombie Villagers were Originally Boomerang Bros

Minecraft is a game that was released by Mojang Studios. It is a 3D Sandbox that has a blocky style. The goal is to collect resources in order to survive environmental hazards or hostile mobs. You can also explore randomly generated terrain and build worlds and sculptures using a variety colourful tools and blocks. However, the objective is mostly determined by the player's direction. It was initially released as an indie title available for the PC and handheld devices, on November 18, 2011. The Wii U version of the game, dubbed Minecraft: Wii U Edition, was initially released for the Nintendo eShop on December 17, 2015,[4][ dead link] and later it was released as a physical edition on June 17, 2016. [5][ dead link] A Nintendo Switch port, known as Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition, was released for the Nintendo eShop on May 11, 2017. It's the same as the Wii U version, except for the new controls as well as the larger map size. A new version of Minecraft for the New Nintendo 3DS, aptly called Minecraft: New Nintendo 3DS Edition it was released on September 13 in 2017. The original game was a reference to the Mario franchise. A painting of 100m of Donkey Kong (which was based on a drawing by Kristoffer Zetterstrand) was included in the original game. On June 21 on the 21st of June, 2018, a brand new version of Minecraft for the Nintendo Switch was released digitally as well as physically. Super Mario Mash-up[edit]

The Super Mario Mash-up It was released as downloadable content for the Wii U version of May 17, 2016 but it was released as a bundle with the physical version. Map[edit]

Many large-scale, notable Mario landmarks make an appearance in the pre-built world, including Peach's Castle, Delfino Plaza, an Airship, the Sunken Ghost Ship, and many more generic locations including a Ghost House and end-of-level Castles.

Warp Pipe contraptions and World Map-like paths often connect locations. Large sprite representations and 3D statues are displayed throughout the entire map. Treasure, including Minecraft Music Discs and Gold Ingots are usually located at places of interest.

Entering Minecraft's Nether dimension via a recreation of the Valley of Bowser entrance features an accessible Bowser's Castle and additional landmarks. The Nether is an adaptation of World 8 in modern platformers.

Images that are not used (presumably designed to be used in the digital manual) in the files Minecraft: Wii U Edition It is evident that various skins were originally going to be used, but not those used in the final version. They include Hooktail being the Ender Dragon in place of Gobblegut, Midbus being the Pigs and Yoshi being Yoshi being the Horses. Another image shows the Ender Chest in a Mr. I-themed design, instead of the Shy Guy-themed one that was released. Zombie Villagers originally were Boomerang Bros, though they were modified in an update to Hammer Bros. wearing the costumes of the Pianta they were before they were changed.

what was the last call message or call you’ve received and who from? “wished it was from bae nathan” she chuckles. “people don’t text me a lot, and i ignore people when they call me, so most people know not to call me, the only people who actually call me are my parents, and perhaps jaekyung too. but generally speaking, my phone doesn’t get a lot of notifs, and i don’t really use it to get in contact with people, but let’s see… oh… surprise! a group message, just some people from my school, we’re in a group project and trying to coordinate who does what, if we should meet up or not, it’s not really anything exciting, never is”.

what were the last 5 songs you’ve listened to? “i don’t listen to music a lot, only when i dance. it’s a distraction when i study, and i don’t really have the time for it, studying and training fills up a big part of my life. but i suppose we can still look. we got kick it by type zero, then we have make a wish by type zero, and the three others are just three songs by hiroko yakushimaru, the song titles are in japanese though. generally speaking, i really just listen to those two artist, they’re my favorite, and i’m sure there’s lots of other artists i would like, but i have those two, and don’t really feel like i need more. besides that, i don’t have the time to find more artists, and i don’t even listen to music in my free time that often”.

Kennie JD: A reviewer of things from dating shows a la Love is Blind to Tubi movies to Filipino movies, etc. offering some very thoughtful commentary. All while putting her makeup on 😘 Best known for her Bad Movies and a Beat series but really everything she puts out hits. Including her video on the Try Guys Incident.

Athena P: Yet another reviewer with insane makeup, but this one takes the tv shows from childhood and explores the “lore” suggested or outright shown. Absolutely hilarious in her delivery and her fans are called Butt-Lovers! 🍑💥🫲🏻

Studson Studio: A craft-tuber who makes fantastical builds ranging from a recreation of Howl’s Moving Castle from trash to a custom action-figure of Ganondorf from Tears of the Kingdom. Frankly it’s astounding how this guy can just look at a piece of supposed garbage and know exactly what to do with it! (Here’s an idea for a drinking game: Take a sip every time he uses a horseshoe! [You will die💖])

North of the Border: Another craft-tuber but with slightly more…distinct tastes… The mans be making some cursed content is what I’m saying. Creative and bold, but cursed. Beware any uploads that have “realistic” in the title.

OwONekko: An art YouTuber with brutal (and hilarious) thoughts about some of your favorite characters’ designs. She tends to veer towards redesigns like with the fusions from Steven Universe, and designing human forms for non-human characters such as the Heeler family from Bluey

Truegreen7: A popular Pokétuber with a host of playlists and prompts to choose from! Perhaps his most popular being when he invites other artists to a challenge where they are given a prompt and are meant to create a Pokémon from it. However, he also had videos where he has friends randomly pick traits and he makes a Pokémon from them, or he gives himself a prompt such as Pokémon based off his own fears. Always a pleasure when he uploads!!

Microwave Society: Three friends who get together and review…things. Usually it’s movies, especially ones from childhood. Sometimes it’s products from, like, Temu. Either way, they’re going through A Time so you can have a good time.

Razzle: Also a group of friends getting together to review movies. Sometimes they even act out entire scripts to movies. What makes them different from MS, however, is…Well, they drink while doing it. Which lends itself to sone absolute bangers of jokes and quotes.

Pidgin Doll: Admittedly I mostly just watch his Shorts. But in my defense, even those are wonderful to watch. His doll designs and paint marker drawings are gorgeous and unique with their fashions and makeup, and almost every video comes with a little tidbit about either his childhood, his art journey, or just whatever inspired him to create what he did.

Something Wicked: A craft-tuber who makes clay models based off of illustrations from old works and texts. And I mean, like, creatures from alchemical tomes; beasts from 17th century logs; face-butted devils and the sort. He doesn’t have much uploaded so far (admittedly only four at the time of this posting, but that’s because the amount of time, care, and detail he puts into each piece deserves it. Plus you get a nifty lesson in art history or just history in general as he goes into the design choices!

The Harry Gold Show: Welcome to The Harry Gold Show, hosted by the ever forthcoming Harry Gold! He’s…disturbingly good at what he does. And what does he do? Art. Of varying mediums and designs, though mostly digital. Though he has recreated the art style of a dead artist as a gift for his dad. Let me put it this way: There’s a reason some joke that he will give AI a run for its money when it comes to replicating styles (he even did a video putting that to the test!)

Dollightful: This cutesy custom doll-maker has a whole host of “dollightful” designs to observe! From a series based on dragon girls to rainbow girls to a vampire with great taste in art, you’ll always be left cooing over the cuties.

Bravely Series Collab 2021 - Guidelines

Hello! This year’s Bravely Series collab is live, and character reservations are now open.

The theme is Outfit Swap!

Once you have chosen your character, you will be given a randomly generated outfit from another character in the series to draw your character wearing.

How to reserve characters:

Send me an ask/instant message here @bravelyseriescollabs or @misedejem, on the twitter (@/bravelycollabs/@/misedejem), or in the discord server with up to two characters you would like to draw

You may choose any character from the three mainline Bravely titles, or any of the mobile games

It’s first-come-first-served, and one artist per character, so I may request a backup character if your first choice is taken. You’ll be contacted if your favourite becomes available again

Once you choose, I will use a random number generator to assign you a costume. There are 71 to choose from, so plenty of options!

Guidelines for the randomiser:

The random number generator has every playable character, asterisk holder, and any major fairies from the three mainline games

One artist per outfit

In most cases, you will have the opportunity to reroll the generator twice if you do not like a costume, but be aware that due to the limitations, I cannot reserve any outfits that you may have previously rolled. If you get Time Mage and do not want it, reroll, and get Knight, you cannot draw Time Mage anymore, because another artist may already have it

However, if you wish to omit a certain type of outfit from the randomiser completely, that can be arranged (e.g., nothing from BDII, no armour etc.) and if any of these are rolled, it won’t count towards your total. Please let me know if this is the case!

In some cases, I will choose to reroll as well, to avoid a situation where the outfit may not be appropriate for the character, as some of the adults’ designs are not suited for a child etc.

Feel free to adapt the base outfit to suit your character if you’d like, it doesn’t have to be exact

Guidelines:

Anybody can take part, and you can join right up until the deadline

Submissions can be digital or traditional, or even things like cosplay - but block colour backgrounds/transparent backgrounds please!

No smaller than 1000x1000 px if possible, no larger than 4000x4000

Keep it SFW

No harmful imagery, e.g. transphobia will be accepted

Full-body or half-body is fine, but please avoid cropping the sides (visual representation below, feat. a Tiz)

All previous collabs are on this blog if you want ideas~

The deadline is February 26th (BDII’s first anniversary). As this collab has a longer runtime than usual, this will likely be the final deadline

I was meaning to ask if you had recs for solo/single-player TTRPGs from the big Itchio bundle. Then I saw you made a post on it, but I'm gonna ask anyway.

(With reference to this post here.)

Great question. The Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality does seem to contain a fair number of solo/single-player tabletop RPGs, though owing to its eccentric organisation it’s difficult to pin down which ones they are. These are the ones I’ve spotted so far.

(Note that these should not be construed as recommendations in my usual vein, as I have not had the opportunity to play most of these titles. This list is provided without warranty of any kind!)

Arch Angel Dating Simulator - Pretty much exactly what it says on the tin. It’s unclear from a quick read-through how many players are expected, but I think it supports solo play.

Alone With Your Ghost - A solo journaling game about exorcising a ghost; a hack of the previously plugged Alone Among the Stars.

The Bonds That Tie Us - A game about relationships; by default it expects 3--5 players, but an optional solo mode is included.

Cage of Sand - A time-loop horror game for 1--4 players, inspired by the framing device -- if not necessarily the content -- of video games like Undertale and When They Cry. Currently in beta.

EGO - A game that’s basically about gamifying your daily to-do list -- you “level up” by performing acts of self-care and self-improvement.

The Gateshead Engine - A solo journaling game about a steampunk inventor building an dangerous machine; also a hack of Alone Among the Stars.

Hero Too - A solo journaling game about trans superheroes. To be clear, that’s not super powers as a metaphor for being trans: player characters are trans and superheroes.

The Land Whispers - A collaborative storytelling game about building communities in the wilderness. Wants 2--4 players by default, though the author claims it’s also playable as a solo journaling game.

Mapping the Catacombs - A singe-player dungeon crawler whose mechanics mostly revolve around randomly generating dungeon maps -- a bit like a tabletop roguelike, I guess?

MATR1X 0VERL0AD - A self-described “cyberpunk solitaire game about killing the rich by hacking the internet”. When it says “solitaire” it literally means the card game, though Tarot spreads are also supported.

Mnemonic: Lost in the Grey - A solo map-drawing game about charting a mysterious wilderness. Bring graph paper!

My Welcomed Guest - A structured storygame in five acts, about escaping from fairyland.

No One Dies Alone In Revolution - A prompt-based poetry writing game where you play as an oracle composing battle-prayers to a series of invented saints.

Procession - A prompt-based solo storygame about a mysterious parade of fantastical creatures visiting a small town.

The Queen Returns - An epistolary (i.e., letter-writing) game that uses a tarot deck to generate current events for discussion. Supports both solo and GMless two-player modes.

Savior - A twist on the journaling game genre that uses audio recordings based on a series of read-aloud prompts. Bleak as hell.

They Stole the Moon - A game about the theft of the Moon. I think this is actually supposed to be a chaos magic ritual in tabletop RPG form.

User Is Typing - A card-based solo game about social media and anxiety. Notable in that its mechanics involve creatively mutilating its playing pieces, including -- in some cases -- literally setting them on fire.

With These Phantom Hands - A game where you play as a ghost with a message to deliver, except you can’t remember what the message is or who it’s meant for.

World Maker - A single-player guided worldbuilding exercise with a novel “bottom up” approach that starts with character creation, then builds out to imagine what sort of world they might inhabit.

The Wretched - A deep space horror game that pairs Dread-like Jenga tower mechanics with playing-card-based random events. Two third party setting hacks, My Way and Unmoored, are also part of the bundle.

your body, an altar - A short narrative game about communing with monsters, available in both tabletop and Twine formats. The illustrated version is very slightly NSFW -- fair warning!

Your Magic Circle - A... game, of some description? Created for a game jam about games that challenge the definition of the word “game”, and in this it succeeds!

1. The amount of information about crops’ total cost and income, etc is now in excel form by very enthusiastic players - Neoseeker, my hats off to you. I deeply appreciate them. (Cucumbers. Don’t sleep on the cucumbers. I struggled so hard to make money by diversifying my crops in the beginning. Broccoli and Leeks are the next biggest crops to grow. A+)

2. I played too early. Some of the customizable features like different eye colors and skin tones did not exist when I created my character. I had to restart my game to customize. I should have waited a couple of hours lol, all that time I wasted… (This is not a problem anymore, all the features promised by the game is there. You can make a pretty androgynous character. I love it.)

3. Compared to the previous games, this is clearly trying to draw in a new customer base. The map and features are Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing inspired. This isn’t an update for longer Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons fans. The map has been simplified and the character list is practically the same number of people as the original Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. You can decorate your farm in ways we couldn’t do before but it’s a huge disadvantage in the beginning.

The dialogue is pretty awful in the sense of “Wow, is this small town talk or what?”. There are only two events per month, one romantic based and one pet/animal/competition based. Any time an event is about to happen, everyone only talks about the event. Nothing else in the world exists besides how excited they are about the event. It’s a little creepy.

4. Selective hoarding. Part of the charm of Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons is how much you can hoard in the game. Eventually you get to understand what is important to hoard and what isn’t and how you can use it to your advantage but it’s different this time. Storage space is hard to come by. You have to constantly build storage boxes that take huge amounts of real estate on your farm. Between the maker machines, storage boxes, unusable land due to sea and mountain sides, there is very limited farm space. ALSO, you should not occupy all the usable space. Trees, rocks, grass, flowers, etc will randomly appear. The less “free space” you have, the less things generate and therefore less materials to make items. You are in a constant race to clear your free space so new things can generate. (There are technically three farm fields eventually but every farm field generates different trees, rocks, flowers, etc so you have to have “free space” in every location.)

The backpack/rucksack is practically useless for holding large amount of items. Different quality items do not stack and in the beginning, it’s hard to allocate money to update the rucksack into final form (a full 32 item storage). You have to live with 24 item storage for quite some time as there are other things that need money. This leads to mining or any stamina draining activity to be a chore.

5. Stamina drains so quickly. I can use up all my stamina and the day hasn’t passed halfway. My quick tip for this is to (after updating your tent to log cabin therefore kitchen) make shellfish soup and fried eggs. Less stamina is used per task when you drink soup. Entrees fills up the most stamina hearts but gives you the “full” mood (you cannot consume more food). Shellfish is easy, the shells on your beach, just saving one or two in case someone needs for a townhall mission but any others can be made into soup. Fried eggs is the easiest thing to make after you’ve restored the chicken coop and tamed the free chicken. (Soup first and then entree if you are running out of stamina)

There are plenty of other walkthrough advice videos available but this is my first season advice. Other than the obvious, restore chicken coop, sell medals given to you by title advancement rewarded from town hall, fulfill town hall missions to make easy money, sell at least one of everything you find or make so they show up in stores for purchase (seeds, logs, made items, etc), don’t sell (all) the flowers found on your farm (you really need them later), get on using the lumber and ore maker machines as quickly as possible, store the tools you don’t use into your tool bag and bring them back out if you need them, donate any sea creature to museum… that’s all I can think of.
