brain dump about lyric references in apollo death machine

the word "reap" is used a lot. maya calls herself the reaper. in draw5 "the reaper shows and *he* picks five" (which made me think that it's actually referring to either misha or a generic "grim reaper" and not maya). in red hour there's "a lame attempt to reap and remain faceless," "another life to sow & reap," in theory of i there's "reaping sorrow"

obviously the kerosene verse in red hour

but also "always asking for more" vs "ill do anything but ask for more"

"you're not the one that i'm aiming for" (red hour) feels similar to "you're the one holding the gun" (enigma) and maybe even "if i'm the one, tell me why i'm alone" (privateer)

"watching my blood spill under morning dawn" (red hour) and "dawn won't rise over your broken corpse" (kerosene) are pretty clearly referring to the same event. firing line also has "if dawn won't come then let me go"

"fall harder for me, my catastrophe" (red hour) vs "i'm your catastrophe" (kerosene)

there's a lot of talk of "lives" as being quantified things- i'm not sure how to explain it, but "give me another life to please" (red hour) "with each life comes a new meaning" and "a brand new life is all i need for more" (kerosene), "a life that's lived is no more fun" (theory of i), "thousands of lives through my eyes" (enigma)

"drawing lines through every word you wrote" (red hour) seems to be a reference to enigma's "when you write the words i ignite"/"when you mark the lines i ignite" and enigma's general theme of words
