Look at that face!

Here is my fur baby, Woody, he is 8 years old and was rescued from a shelter last February. He has become a light in my life I didn't know that I needed. He is a little older but when he gets his zoomies you would think he is a puppy again. He likes to take long walks, play tug of war, receive hugs and to sunbathe on our balcony. He is really sweet, patient and gentle. However, on his walks people steer away from him not knowing he is really friendly. This breaks my heart because he just wants to receive and give love but has been mislabeled.

Pitbulls are one of the most misunderstood dog breeds. They have a tough and dominant presenting exterior however they are the biggest babies. Really BIG babies like they forget they aren't lap dogs!

Many negative labels have been associated with the Pitbull breed such as: aggression, quick tempered, untrustworthy and unpredictable. In my opinion and experience Chihuahua's can be just as bad, not to offend any chihuahua owners. I am a huge animal lover!

I've learned that it's truly in how you raise them. If you raise them to embrace their aggression than of course they will live in that space. If you love, train and exercise them frequently, they can be the best pets to have. They are great family dogs that are loyal, love to protect, play and be your number one cuddle buddy.

If you are unsure how to approach a Pittie, first check in with the owner to make sure the owner and their fur baby are comfortable. Use caution like you would with any other dog and let them sniff you first, with no sudden movements. Many don't get a bunch of attention due to their lingering stereotype, when you get that green light with (their infamous kiss) you're all good to go. Enjoy their warm and loving embrace with a bunch of kisses and excitement.

Hello my name is Amanda. I am a reseller who loves vintage,antiques and collectibles. I also run my own business. My reselling is kind of my side hustle. But I enjoy older things with history. I have always wanted to own my own brick and mortar shop, but this is the next best thing. These two in my pictures are my fur babies.
