Ninerose and tenrose are inseparable. Their story is one story. They share an official soundtrack starting with Westminster Bridge (their meeting) and ending with Love Don’t Roam (literally a love song about them). Yeah they’re two different seasons of a TV show but they could easily be made into one soul-destroying 20 hour movie. THEY ARE THE SAME!!!

Thinking about how they didn’t use Song For Ten (Reprise) in The End of Time, again.

Matt Smith’s Doctor Who seasons didn’t need to go that hard with the music but they did and it is glorious

kind of obsessed about how murray gold reinvents the doctor's theme to fit the doctor it's being used for. the bad wolf motif which becomes nine's theme sounds haunting and mysterious just like how the post time war doctor was. nine's variation of the doctor's theme has no instruments except a single voice which fits nine because he's very much a lone wolf. then ten's variation of it sounds tragic and full of yearning and guilt. and it has a lot of instruments and builds up over time just like how ten wasn't all alone like nine was. he found so many companions (tho he lost them all rip) and it's the most heroic sounding variation of the doctor's theme. same way ten looked most heroic out of all incarnations of the doctor. when the women in gallifrey recognizes the doctor in hell bent another variation of this theme is played which just consists of flute which fits twelve in a way i don't know how to explain. it's definitely the most different sounding variation of this theme and it's perfect that it's for twelve. and i love that the music in doctor who is one of the few things that connect all the doctors together. at the end of the day it's that same silly old alien from gallifrey <3

i love that This Is Gallifrey plays in Wild Blue Yonder not when gallifrey is mentioned, but instead when the doctor is talking about a city being built up and falling down around the tardis. it's just such interesting symbolism, particularly in an episode that discusses the timeless child

i think its incredible how music artists who make soundtracks can perfectly capture a character's personality and essence in sound

What’s your guy’s favorite song from the soundtrack? (This also implies to songs that weren’t their own songs, toxic for example can be one)
