They're bi4bi. They're coworkers. They solve crimes. Nobody comments on the crimes they commit together. She's very pretty and fashionable and he's a guy in a suit (affectionate). They didn't sleep together but they didn't not sleep together. Their favourite mode of communication is the double entendre.

30 Days of “Ashes to Ashes” - Day 21
Tumblr media
Day 21 - Name a scene that made you sad.
I started writing down all the bits of dialogue that make me feel like my heart is literally squeezed and shattered into three billions of pieces during this scene. Then I realised... I couldn’t write them down because I started crying... again!
“Ashes to Ashes” is one of the most brilliant shows ever. You all know this, I’ve said it every day for the last 21 days at least. It also has one of the most beautiful, heartbreaking series finales you’ll ever watch. So good. SO GODDAMN GOOD. So unbelievably beautiful! And so so SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SAD! You don’t know sad until you watch this! I barely managed to watch it once and haven’t been able to rewatch it as a whole ever since. I cry too much.
I want to say so many things about this particular scene that feels like a cataclysm of emotions. But I can’t won’t. I’ll only say...
“See you around, Bollykecks.”
That better be a promise, Guv. *ahem*Lazarus*ahem*

favourite musicians: sufjan stevens, japan (the band), david sylvian, of montreal, they might be giants, st vincent (specifically daddy's home), aurora, cocteau twins, kraftwerk, talking heads
it's a coincidence but half of the people in the things i'm into have been called david (david sylvian, david byrne, dave charnley)
i occasionally post my drawings on here, tagged as #my art
all my fics are under the cut bc it's a very long list
this is extra information which is why it’s under a read more

I have finally read finished the tatemae series and it’s one of the best fanfiction that exists. I have some few questions , i hope you don’t mind ( and if you do just delete this ask 😅) 1- why doesn’t taehyung hire some help ?2 - Since dany is staying at home , she has a lot of free time , why doesn’t she visit her friends? 3 - how did aria and aiera families react to their sudden engagement and marriage? 4 - how will jimin react to rei getting another job?
Tumblr media
whoa whoa whoa whoa, i am going to have to stop you right there. best fanfiction???? um???? uhmm??? y'all need to stop putting me on the 9th cloud.
Tumblr media
and no, i do not mind answering your questions bb. that's just stupid if i do because i am the sole person who knows what is happening in the tatemae universe as its creator. if i am putting it out there for people to consume, i should also answer questions. which i love to! jaim loves discourses. 🥰
i remember there was this enouement ask where i had replied this question in the tags lol. no, i am not judging you for not reading the previous asks (it's very easy to miss stuff written in the tags) but it made me think 'oh, what a coincidence' cause that ask was about something else and after answering them, i had just casually written in the tags that taehyung can just hire a maid but he grew up in a house where everything was managed by his mom. his mom is a trophy wife as well, much like hoseok's mum euna. and yes, taehyung can always get a maid or other house-help and multiple servants to get everything done in the house but he doesn't. that's cause of his mentality. he is not trying to save money or anything but just trying to break tanaz's spirit. the day she will cower down and accept how things are, he will get all the servants for her and make life easier for her. it's like a power play,,, does that make sense? 😅 i am not sure how else to explain it, i can't even think of an example. 😭
true, dany surely can. i am not sure what your point was bb. hoseok has never stopped her from going out or having friends and stuff. he is the last person who'd be jealous.
okay, this is a good one because other than rei's family, i have never formulated much about the other OC's families. mhm, let's see. with aeira, i think her parents would be hella impressed with the whole "cop-son-in-law" aspect. idk what is it about asian parents (i am asian, i know what i am talking 😘), they get too distracted with the sparkly things, like a lucrative title, but turn a blind eye to the personality / emotional side of people. feel like that will be both aeira and aria's (the realization has dawned upon me that i have chosen two names that are way too similar to each other. i am a clown 🤡, and this is my circus 🤹‍♂️) parents. namjoon is a senior experimental physicist, i mean can you imagine how much aria's parents would be excited to just hear that lol. they would be drowning in "omg he's so smart". oh, a quick note: this is not to say that the OCs are korean or asian for the matter. all my stories are reader interactives and i try to keep it that way. maybe aeira and aria's parents have been in korea for too long and have adopted the general mentality as well.
i don't think jimin would mind. nodus tollens couple is dysfunctional from both sides. rei is scared to ask for the things she wants because she is afraid that she would be disrespectful (read, age-gap conundrum). you can refer to this ask where i tried to explain her mindset a bit. rei is also scared that if she gets a new one, maybe he would create a ruckus there as well. also, according to the timeline, she only lost her job about a few months ago from the present time so she has not really thought much in-depth about it.
thank you so much for the a2a! please feel free to ask me anything!! ❤️ and thank you so so so so so much for enjoying my content. 😔💋

Getting to Know You Meme
Tagged by @liz-squids, and glad she did. Hello again!
1. Nicknames: Tweets, but it goes back decades before Twitter, and only my husband uses it. 2. Gender: Female 3. Star sign: Capricorn, a fact that has no meaning to me. 4. Height: 5′2. I used to be 5′3″. It’s a sensitive subject. 5. Time: 8:42 EST (US) 6. Birthday: Dec 29 7. Favorite bands: Talking Heads (I keep coming back to them), Beatles (they live in my brain and defined my childhood), Velvet Underground, Clash, Ramones, Devo, Kraftwerk, Cigarettes After Sex (just discovered them, don’t know anything about them), Crash Test Dummies. That’s what randomly comes to mind.  8. Favorite solo artists: Joni Mitchell, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Donovan, Patti Smith, Billie Holiday, Hoagie Carmichael, David Byrne, Grace Jones. Again, just off the top of my head. 9. Song stuck in my head: “Common Disaster,” Cowboy Junkies 10. Last movie I watched: Lady Bird. 11. Last show I watched: DS9, but I’m also going to say Ashes to Ashes, because I don’t really sit down and watch DS9, it’s more something I put on in the background while I’m doing other things, whereas I’m in the middle of a serious LoM and A2A binge. 12. When did I create my blog: August 2010. Like @liz-squids, I was wondering where all the LJ people had gone. But I didn’t start using Tumblr regularly until sometime in 2014, and I still think it’s the most annoying blog format ever. 13. What do I post: Mostly whatever fictional world is consuming me at the moment; I also make gifs that amuse me. At various times I’ve posted about Star Trek in every iteration (my first and forever fandom), Doctor Who, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Farscape, Babylon 5, Valerian, Life on Mars, Sleepy Hollow, X-Files, Murdoch Mysteries, Grantchester, Endeavour, Agents of SHIELD...etc. 14. Last thing I googled: Star Blecch Mad Magazine. Because that’s what The Orville reminds me of. I read the Mad ST spoof a thousand times when it first came out, because rereading favorite bits of Mad Magazine a thousand times was something one did in the dark days before bringing a smartphone into the bathroom was a thing one did, or a thing that existed, and because back then any mention of Star Trek in pop culture was a big fucking deal. For the record, Mad Magazine is clearly where Seth MacFarlane learned everything he knows, and that’s not a good thing.
15. Do I have any other blogs: Not on Tumblr. I was posting so many words on Tumblr about ST Disco, and Tumblr is so bad for words, that I created It Started With Trek. Maybe I should move it to Dreamwidth? I don’t know, that seems like so much bother. Also for more serious topics I occasionally use the blog Smoking Toward New Jersey.
16. Do I get asks: Almost never.  18. Following: 277 19. Followers: 293 20. Free space: We really should.  21. Average hours of sleep: 7-8. 22. Lucky number: No. 23. Instruments: I wish. I live vicariously through the musical talents of my kids. I tell them that music is magic to me because I can’t make it but I love it, so I feel like the muggle parent of wizards.  24. What am I wearing: PJs. Shit, I really need to get dressed and go to work. 26. Dream job: Astronaut. I have given this same answer nearly all my life, but never did anything about it. Another sensitive issue. 27. Dream trip: Anywhere and everywhere that’s not a war zone. (I have lived abroad for a year at a time three times in my life, though not recently: Jerusalem, London, Bucharest.) 28. Favorite food: Really good sushi. 29. Nationality: Do I have to answer this? Because I’m deeply ashamed of my country. 30. Favorite song right now: This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody). At my funeral I want everyone to hold hands and sing this.
I tag @bluecityrose, because she appreciates Harpo as much as I do.

Omegle Tales
Thanks Kartik for A2A
Qurantine proved to be the the the reason which made Omegle, once again the go to site for bored ones around the globe.
Warwrick Maths Professor- I expected this guy to be some teenage nerd, it’s not that common to find people with interest as ‘maths’. I opened up with Maths is gay, this guy didn’t say anything. I tired to seem smart by throwing some words like ‘you know complex analysis and group thory huh’, fella replied with ‘lol, who doesn’t’.
Later he mentioned he’s a professor at Warwrick University, he was realy into maths and entered college when he was just 17 (I did the same but I’m dumb). Ahter this basic introduction we talked about 3Blue1Brown, Numberphile, ZachStar (Major Prep) and other similar ones. Especially about 3Blue1brown’s video in which he plots the graph of COVID-19, algorithm and his approach.
Later he explained a better algorithm, he helped his students to design at University. I didn’t get most the things he was talking about but I kept humming along, pretended like it was obvious ‘yeah, that one is better hmmm’.
I got bewildered in buzzwords which I dropped earilier to look not complete outsider from the mathematical realm.
In the end he asked ‘You wanna keep in touch?’
Damn, that was a shit load of ego boost.
We talk about Modi on discord sometimes (okay, once).
E-Thot
After getting tired of bots spamming me to join their discord servers and “M27 horny” incel fellas, I changed my interest tags and bumped into this fellow Indian warrior who was in search of SeXtiNg. Then I reavealed that I trolled him becuase he was getting virtual BJ from a straight guy. #Mr.Prankster
This guy could feel the resentment and fear of dying virgin from my replies, he turned out to be omegle equavalent of Actor Varun Pruthi for me.
After some deep conversations like asking about my dick size and reason for being virgin, he gave me a proposal I couldn’t turn down. He turned sherlock mode on and started planning how we would execute this mission impossible 7.
It was time to explore my feminine side, I became his bi-sexual friend and he added me into a group chat and introduced me to this nymphomaniac. The dots started to connect, everything was connected, my dick size became my identity.
Objectification of women was an alien concept for me but now it wasn’t.
The first text popped up in chat ‘Do you suck a lot of dicks?’
Yup, that’s how the mafia works. I tried to ignore gay vibes and defended my masculinity by proclaiming myself as “Top”, followed by ‘squiddle my diddle’ to elucidate my intentions about what I was looking for.
I tried to act like a player and DM’d her, expecting some lame reply. Still I don’tknow why but she started speaking french, I mean c’mon. I can’t even speak english properly and you are flaunting your french. But I didn’t say anything, she was enjoying pussy-privillage.
Hardly two minutes passed and she sent ‘show me’.
Okay, that was quick, even our Indian boys don’t ask for bob-pics this much fast. *Incoming video call* adrenaline and cortisol nibbas rushed into blood, anxity bar was full . What if there’s some guy just trolling me or it’s a scam where she’ll record and blackmail me. I’m aware that no girl would want my nudes when they have unlimited supply of unsolicited dick pics but still I was scared and declined the call.
Now my friend cum pimp messaged and assured that there’s nothing sketchy. I was determined to see those majestic boobies for which I was lured into all this
I muster up the courage and call her and surprisingly she picked up immediatly, A dark screen shows up, my speculations were about to be the reality, I was sure that now someone from other side will say ‘chutiya bnaya’ laughingly and flash his penis before hanging up the call.
I had a sigh of relief when I heard her. Just like that Naughty America intro, her whispring voice ran a wave euphoric tingling in my whole body, the stress which was piled up earlier vanished. It was nothing less than ASMR voice, never thought my name could sound this much sexy.
She said: Show me now.
I was confused for a moment, show what? I wasn’t a salesmen who will just reach out to his bag and grab a full fledged erect penis to show her. I mean yeah, we go around popping random boners at un-expected places but this was just way too fast.
Things don’t work like this, at least mine doesn’t.
After explaining her about my need of visual stimulation to raise the bar for her, we did something (not going to explain).
As I explained earlier, she had a luscious voice, everything she said was arousing and surely it served its purpose. But she also wanted me to do dirty talk and *moan*.
So here I was saying Oh yeah (….) in my Punjabi accent which sounded something like “O jeh, phakk it bebi”.
Somehow she was okay with it and later swithched to Hindi for obvious reasons. Later she expressed her desire for a dominant male to treat her like a slave, call her all the cuss words one can imagine. All those hundreds of hours spent in watching BDSM were going to pay back, I started articulating my ideas for the script which will make me look like a chest-thumping alpha male.
It was showtime, I started shooting blend of swear words originating from both Hindi and Punjabi lexicon.  My delivery was flawless, each gaali filled with emotions, my accent added inroduced a whole new dimension to it. She was awestruck, probably after witnessing my command over the art of profanity.
At this point I almost forgot what the actual fuck we were supposed to do, my inner toxic-tenager was ragging to destroy the opponent like it used to do on facebook in good ‘ol days. My erection was gone, I was sitting there in front of camera, holding my flacid shlong.
I’ve to admit she was very supportive, even after all this she didn’t leave. She giggled when I apologized for all the mess, and decided to revive the fallen one.
She came up with this idea of using a pen to visualise as mine and proceded to give virtual BJ. To make things more realistic she decided to add an extra aspect of sound, which sounded something like this- “dok-dok-dok-dok”.
I was trying hard to control my laugh but then out of nowhere she said ‘Chod bhen ke lode’.
At that moment I lost it.
After laughing like an retarded chimp, I was certain that she will say fuck off and block me but again, she proved me wrong. She did call me immature but wasn’t mad,

Remember that time is money essay What is the idea behind the quote - time is money
However, the idea that time is money has a long history. Remember that time is money essay. Still have a question? Thanks to Kimberly Baskett for the A2A. Time is money ” is a much easier way to explain the concept of Opportunity cost — because time is money! It means time is a valuable resource (because our time in this world is finite), so it’s better to do things as quickly as possible. Alternatively, spend time and effort on things that get the results we are looking for. The phrase is usually credited to Benjamin Franklin, who used it in an essay ( Advice to a Young Tradesman , 1748). The actual phrase was recorded in 1719 in the magazine The Free-Thinker . The Oxford Dictionary of Proverbs cites two earlier references. Antiphon of ancient Greece (ca. Time is money, so I’ll stop there for this answer. I believe that the quote itself can have many meaning. Many of the above answers are correct in that time is a valuable resource so it’s best to do things as quick as possible in order to reduce the amount of time spent because spending time is like spending money (because it takes time to make money). After I got a job I saw price tags — for food, clothes, travel, and education — in a very different light. I thought about costs not just in terms of money but in terms of time. I had never appreciated this relationship until I first started working and began earning real money for doing real things. Therefore the cost of something is a monetary value and the monetary value can also be translated to time as it takes time to make the money regardless of the method of income.... View more ...

#SproutChat Recap: How to Teach Your Colleagues Personal Branding
Due to the nature of their jobs, social media marketing professional have a clear understanding of personal branding and its positive impact on an organization. While a social marketers number one priority is maintaining the social presence for the organization they represent, sharing social best practices with colleagues can help your brand raise awareness, improve community relations and positively impact recruiting efforts.
At this week’s #SproutChat, we discussed the do’s and don’ts of personal branding and how fostering an environment where employees feel supported to build apersonal brand can impact the bottom line.
Build the Foundation
Social best practices from managing a business carry over to personal branding. You’ll want to maintain a consistent tone of voice, visual aesthetic and make sure that the content you’re sharing is relevant. Depending on your industry, look into LinkedIn or Facebook groups, specific hashtags or Twitter chats in order to start growing your network.
@SproutSocial A1: A professional photo (with a smile!) that is consistent across profiles is a great way to start. #SproutChat
— Your Creative People (@ycpideas) April 12, 2017
@SproutSocial A1: Be real. Be consistent. Be passionate about what you represent. Be honest. #SproutChat
— b r i t t n e e (@hellobrittnee) April 12, 2017
@SproutSocial A1: Create a consistent theme across all platforms and add content that is both relevant + interesting! #SproutChat
— nicole (@nicolemaries__) April 12, 2017
A1: Be social! Be active, relevant, respectful. Don't spam and TAG people/services you speak about. Brings you on their radar. #SproutChat
— Val Vesa (@adspedia) April 12, 2017
A1. I like the advice of posting about what you want to be known for, but also 1-2 "extra-curriculars" – to prove you're human. #sproutchat
— pamelahughes (@pamelahughes) April 12, 2017
Keep Social Media Etiquette Top of Mind
As you’re creating and refining your online identity pay attention to social media etiquette. Use social to connect at scale but avoid overt self promotion. Be authentic and make sure that your profile design and tone represent the “real you.”
@SproutSocial A2. Do not self-promote your business the minute you connect with a friend online because that is blatant disrespect #sproutchat
— Cheval John (@chevd80) April 12, 2017
A2: Don't forget that whatever you post will live on, forever. Be genuine but conscientious #sproutchat
— Stephan Hovnanian (@stephanhov) April 12, 2017
Q2: Oh, and can we please cut the "thanks to my top contributors" stuff? Pretty please? #sproutchat
— Gill Andrews (@StoriesWithGill) April 12, 2017
A2 Don't over-hashtag in your bio #sproutchat
— Toby Metcalf (@Toby_Metcalf) April 12, 2017
A2a: Don't just jump onto a hashtag because it's trending. If your tweet is irrelevant to the actual convo, you look obnoxious. #SproutChat
— Mallie Rust (@malliefe2o3) April 12, 2017
A2) Being incivil. It's perfectly fine to disagree and argue; but getting nasty/combative is a terrible look. #sproutchat
— Kyle Murray (@TheKyleMurray) April 12, 2017
Bridge Your Professional and Personal Self
As you develop your personal brand, sharing news about the business you own or work for is a great way to help legitimize your efforts and add credibility. Ensure you’re engaging your community with a healthy mix of branded, industry-adjacent and personal content.
@SproutSocial A4: Some shares and kind words, but not constant postings about the company! #SproutChat
— Stephanie Zatyko (@ExperianDQSteph) April 12, 2017
@SproutSocial Q4 – Sharing content such as new blogs or company announcements on the relevant social channels is a good starting point. #SproutChat
— Daniel Bailey (@DaJoBa) April 12, 2017
A4) I think having opinions and expressing them on personal account is perfectly fine, provided you act like an adult. #sproutchat
— Kyle Murray (@TheKyleMurray) April 12, 2017
A4 So only share they want to, and use their own voice. Not just blindly RT everything #sproutchat
— Ed Davies (@edavieswork) April 12, 2017
A4. On @SenSchumer 's profile, it says that a Retweet does not equal an endorsement. I like that caveat for Twitter. #SproutChat
— Reva Minkoff (@revaminkoff) April 12, 2017
A4: Monitor your brand message as well as the company's. Your views are yours, but keep it professional to avoid PR nightmares #sproutchat
— Brenda Sailsman (@BeeAllison_) April 12, 2017
Understand The Broader Impact
Don’t underestimate the value a strong personal brand can have on your organization’s bottom line. As you grow your personal brand, work to find ways to quantify the value of these relationships bring.
A5) they bring in their contacts – "your net worth is your network" #sproutchat

A5. Strong personal brands drive business and employees to the company. #SproutChat
— Reva Minkoff (@revaminkoff) April 12, 2017
A5 Strong personal brands set you apart from the noise on the internet. Back up strong branding w/ strong products and services. #SproutChat

A5 It also shows that a company is built of humans – something we as customers can forget sometimes (when annoyed for example) #sproutchat
— Ed Davies (@edavieswork) April 12, 2017
A5. At a past job, an employee came in w/a personal e-mail list of 3K+. He retained ownership, but pushed our content regularly. #sproutchat
— pamelahughes (@pamelahughes) April 12, 2017
A5: People relate to people, not brands. So my answer on this would be: Strong! 😄 #sproutchat
— Gill Andrews (@StoriesWithGill) April 12, 2017

A6: The easiest way is awareness. Awareness of policies. Workshop on best social media practices… #SproutChat https://t.co/JKmr7XwYvb
— Selena Devore (@SelenaNomNoms) April 12, 2017
A6) Nurture their personal growth; good work/life balance does wonders here. People aren't just their work. #sproutchat
— Kyle Murray (@TheKyleMurray) April 12, 2017
A6. Promote their content when it makes sense to do so. Remember they are an arm of your brand. #SproutChat
— Reva Minkoff (@revaminkoff) April 12, 2017
A6: For newbies, some basic social media training would benefit them. Just getting started is difficult for many #SproutChat

30 Days of “Ashes to Ashes” - Day 18
Tumblr media
What’s your favourite Ashes finale (1, 2 or 3)?
UUUUUUUUUUUUGHHHH!! You cannot do this to me. You just can’t! Wasn’t it bad enough that I had to choose a favourite series? Now I have to choose a favourite finale? You’re cruel!
All of the Ashes finales are pieces of art. They’re masterclasses in all aspects of TV production: performance, music, direction, photography, storyline, structure, character development... I could go on. And they conclude each season’s arc so goddamn well I want to scream at the magnificence. Take the series finale for example. What show has ever ended its run with a finale that made you cry so much, made you feel so loco, but it was so exceptionally good that you can’t say “damn you writers, you ruined this!” but you clap in a standing ovation and exclaim “damn you writers, you are GENIOUSES!”? None that I’ve watched, for sure. (LCDP could go into that category... but then Netflix happened. Poor GOT can’t relate...)
That said... and since I’m obliged to choose... I’ll go back to my Day 2 post and repeat that the series 1 finale is one of the best things that’s ever been on TV. It tricked me until the last moment. It made me cry my eyes out. It made me laugh my eyes out. It made me love Gene and Alex’s unique relationship even more. It made me outrageous that Keeley hasn’t won all the awards just for that scream. It reaffirmed my belief that what I was watching was not just another good show, but a bloody incredible one. And, like I said yesterday, the best part of it is that when you finish it... You know there’s more of this brilliance available for you to watch and you are a happy person because you just don’t want this show to end. Ever.
Ever ever ever...

Teams of One Should Take Note
Productivity tools aren’t just for teams. Individuals can benefit from tapping into productivity tools for reminders, automation, content scheduling and so more. When you’re wearing many hats and managing various tasks, prioritizing the productivity software features that save the most time is crucial.
A3a. Collecting research is crucial to a marketing strategy. Use our Web Clipper to save web articles → https://t.co/4PVa12cpME #SproutChat pic.twitter.com/FNhPThg3QX

A4a. Voice recording! Capturing interviews or brainstorms into a note w/ your phone is a game changer. https://t.co/uKVfHgGtBc #SproutChat pic.twitter.com/3EbPYgKY7q
