I will always love G1 but the fact they threw out (almost) all their interracial relationships. Like they screwed over Leharold and made Duncan leave Courtney for a white woman. Even worse is one of the only two interracial “relationships” we had left was Coderra. And both of those ships were with characters that were just introduced in that season. Also I’m only including the whats 100% canon, I’m some people hc X character was wasian or Y character as Latino but that’s all fan head canons and not true to the story. The rest of the canon ships are all white people.

They get better at this in later seasons but it just makes me sad because ik seeing healthy interracial ships as a kid would have been great for a lot of people (including me!)

imagine a hispanic yuu. imagine them speaking spanish just to confuse ace and deuce, i feel like azul would be able to speak spanish and idk why. like imagine yuu talking shit in spanish thinking no one knows what their saying and then azul responding in spanish to it. yuu would say smth like “El burro sabe mas que tu” to crowley or smth and crowley’s just like “what.” i feel like if yuu was hispanic and happened to speak spanish as well would be funny and they’d probably teach grim spanish bc he wanted to. they’d also probably wash grim in the sink or smth as well.
