You guys remember when Xros Wars/Young Hunters had all the previous main leads (and a fair amount of other main characters) show up? I remember seeing uploads of this scene on YT back when it had aired and was really hyped by it.

I'd love to see that for another Digimon anime again one day, especially if we get more character interactions. It'd be amazing if the main cast of Tamers and DGG get to interact.

Yeah I don't really have anything new or interesting to say about hunters other than it's a pretty big downgrade in comparison to the previous two xros wars seasons... and the worst sequel series the anime has made... and so far the worst episodic season of digimon (though there's only two of those so far with the other one being ghost game).

You know what it's time someone said it.

Young Hunters deserves not only more credit as a good season of Digimon but it deserves a remake where the ending isn't rushed.

It's plotline at its core is the same thing that we all like about Cybersleuth and Ghost Game

Protagonists investigating weird yokai/ghost/haunting type mischief caused by Digimon appearing in the real world/ internet episodically with an overarching story tying things together.

It's funny how Tagiru & Gumdramon (and Young Hunters) have this strange status of either being included in a pic of all digimon protags or not...

Because Hunters is not technically counted as its own series. Unlike Adventure'99 and 02, Hunters is officially classified as the 3rd arc/segment from Xros Wars series, which means sometimes they just count Taiki and Shoutmon to rep XW and call it a day.

Tagiru and Gumdramon are truly the Schrodinger's Digimon Animation Protagonists and i find it very fitting to their characters lol
