Do Tim fans live under a rock, why are there so many of them still claiming that DC "hates Tim"?. Like...have DC put him into limbo for over a decade...have they tried to make him a villain...did they kill him off...did he run around with no memories and a stupid name for two years? Do these people know what it's like when DC actually hates a character?
Tim is literally one of the most important characters in Chip Zdarsky's Batman run right now. And the writer seems determimed to crap on everyone else just to make it clear that he thinks Tim is the best partner to Batman ever. Sorry, but I really don't understand how someone can look at that and think DC dislikes Tim.

Can I pleeeease see some Joseph staring at Dean like a creep. again 💕
Yes right away, one self indulgent Jo being himself and Dean being done with his shit wip coming right up 🫡 (This is is set at St. Francis, during one of Dean's many long stays with Jacob, he's too tired and hungry to care about Jo rn)
Joseph's eyes locked with Dean's as he sat down and he felt any of the words he'd been mulling over in his head trickle away like water down a stream. It was dark but Joseph could make out various cuts and bruises on the deputy's face and arms, his eyes tracing over the cut on the bridge of his nose and blood dried on his temple. He shakes his head gently and sighs, Dean frowns. Neither of them say a word.
In the dark Dean's brown eyes were like dark pools of molten syrup, an endless void staring back at him with only flickers of those dangerous embers rearing their heads. There was also a distinct fear shimmering within their depths, usually hidden so well by that raging inferno ignited by the sunlight shining in them. Joseph couldn't quite determime where that fear originated or what it was for but it was unmistakable, especially as Dean pressed his back against the bars of the cage and stared him down similar to how a caged tiger would stare down its captors.
He wasn't scared of Joseph, he'd made that clear since they first met; no Dean Sinclaire wasn't scared of men or wolves—his fear went deeper. And if Joseph could only follow down that winding path obscured by vines and thorns perhaps this whole process could move forward quicker. Dean wouldn't be in a cage, he'd be where Joseph had wanted him all along.
But the honey covered chocolate eyes gave up no key to see more than those glimpses, the crease in his brow and downturn of his lips gave no indication of anything other than that grinding furnace that never seemed to quell.
"Are you gonna stare at me all night or do you have another tragic story to regale to me?" Dean cuts through the burning silence as he pulls his knees closer to his chest, further closing himself off from him.
Joseph blinked. Then he smiled.

Why is the wine always gone?
Al-Haitham: Where is my wine?
Kaveh: I have no idea.
Al-Haitham: No, you know where it is, so tell me where now.
Kaveh: I don’t have to tell you anything because it isn’t my wine. You tell me every time I so much as I raise a complaint. ‘My plates, my food, my furniture, my rooms’ and all of that. So I really have no obligation to do much of anything in this case.
Al-Haitham: (inhales) Kaveh, please stop being so difficult and just tell me.
Kaveh: It’s mostly gone . . .
Al-Haitham:
Kaveh: . . . down into my gut.
Al-Haitham: Well, it’s your wine now. Have fun paying for it.
————
Only in Sumeru will people find this entertaining.
Kaveh: Al-Haitham, look at this!
Al-Haitham: What now?
They look upon one of the message boards, except some people took the time to arrange one of their arguments in chronological order along with other papers that act as references to quotes they make, their sources, references to other arguments in the past, and a public discussion forum with a scoreboard and other commentary.
Al-Haitham: Who would even have the free time to do this?
Kaveh: And for what reason? Are our debates really that entertaining?
Al-Haitham: Huh. I don’t understand how they could be to the outsider.
Kaveh: And why don’t we have anything on the scoreboard yet? Who took the time to determime that there were 36 draws?
Al-Haitham: (reads off one of the comments) “Recently, I was lucky enough to witness one of the debates firsthand in the cafe. The scribe holds a more collected composure than the other, but I couldn’t really bring myself to choose a side as the both of them had really good points. However, I personally find that if they could come to an agreement on certain things (and if they were applied), Sumeru would be better off for it!”
Kaveh: (reads off another one of the comments) “As much I find myself more comfortable with the scribe’s pragmatism, I find the architect’s takes on our culture and values to be quite refreshing. It’s broadened my approaches to things and I have found myself better for it. I would love to have a debate with them myself one day, but I feel as if I would hardly be able to keep up with either of them!”
Al-Haitham & Kaveh: Huh.
Kaveh: Interesting.
Al-Haitham: Quite.
————
“You’ll get your payment when you open this damn door!”
Kaveh: I don’t regret a thing.
Al-Haitham: You should.
Kaveh: No, you should because you fucked around and then you found out.
Al-Haitham: You’re the one that did this!
Kaveh: You’re the one who took the keys! What else was I supposed to do, wait for you to get home?!?
Al-Haitham: Yes, like a sane person.
Kaveh: And how long would that have taken, days? I couldn’t risk that!
Al-Haitham: Look at it, you clown. Look at was used to be a perfectly fine door. The door that was violently ripped off of it’s fucking hinges!
Kaveh: I know, it was really well-aged mahogany too!
Al-Haitham: Then why did you rip it off in the first place?!?
Kaveh: Why do you think I’m so pissed in the first place? I had to do that to a high quality door - the only decent thing you had in this house, mind you - and I wouldn’t have had to if you didn’t take the keys, you little shit.
Al-Haitham: Maybe if you occasionally remembered to take them with you whenever you went out, we wouldn’t have this problem.
Kaveh: How hard can it be to just have a key underneath the welcome mat like a normal person.
Al-Haitham: As if I’m stupid enough to let people just walk into my house like that.
Kaveh: You are the worst roommate I’ve ever had!
Al-Haitham: Well, I have to live with you!
Kaveh: Archons, you’re such a bastard-
Al-Haitham: And you irritate the hell out of me-
Random Person: (above them, from another residence) Quiet down! I don’t mind your debates, but could you kindly not have them outside when I’m trying to get some sleep?!?
Kaveh & Al-Haitham: (shuts up immediately)
Random Person: (mutters) Archons, these scholars think they can do whatever they want and get away with disturbing the peace . . . (shuts the window)
Al-Haitham: . . . can you at least fix it?
Kaveh: Pay me first.
Al-Haitham: Me feeding you and covering your tab this month is payment enough.
Kaveh: Fine.
————
Oh my God, they were roommates . . .
I can't tell you how happy I was when I saw this.
Tumblr media
God, I love them both so much. They are such an interesting pair and I'm really hoping now that Kaveh is revealed and Al Hatiam being in 3.4. Kaveh will be out with him because that would just be hilarious to be honest.

hello! im always looking with respect at traditional astrologers, and the art feels super refreshing after years of thinking the only astrology there is is the popular stuff. im kind of interested in learning? but im also kind of unsure about how deterministic the aspects of it are?
one thing i enjoy about modern astrology is the ability to look at difficult houses and see the possibility of transformation within them. my 12th house north node and part of fortune are not things i consider curses. im overall hella fascinated by humans ability to evolve and heal. (though thats SO fucking rare even who people who try to. i know potential doesnt equal result) im thinking that traditional astrology might be the way it is because at the time people just truly had no way to become better in any way. if someone now is born poor they can work on my relationship with finances and eventually create a beautiful stable life for themselves, they can heal the relationship wounds caused by abusive families etc etc
what do you think? is it worth learning about traditional astrology if im going to have this type of approach?
Not all traditional astrologers are super deterministic. If you go to the medieval astrologers you'll see they were also dealing with magic, so they're examples of traditional astrologers who definitely weren't fully deterministic as well. I don't like determimism either and I've talked a little about this here. I'm more on a middle ground. A lot of the ancient hellenistic astrologers were stoics and believed in a very closed kind of fate, so they thought every little thing could be predicted, but this is not an inherent characteristic of the art, it was their own beliefs projected on it. Studying someone's techniques doesn't really require you to subscribe to their beliefs. A level of predictability also doesn't imply hard determinism. Otherwise all of us would be that, after all modern astrologers are also predicting by looking at the birth chart and telling what a person's life has been like.
Some idea of fate is still there in modern astrology even if the content on the internet will try to tell you it isn't, I believe some modern astrologers have too many contradictory beliefs because of this. And of course, it actually gets even more difficult to sell astrology and keep a following if you're going to tell people some disappointing stuff, so obviously modern evolutionary astrology is popular also because it's so "optimistic". And even if not done in bad faith, they're selling the idea that their service will be fundamental for you to get out of a bad situation, and that's a little scammy.
I don't believe your 12th house north node and part of fortune are curses either.* I myself have a 12th house Moon and north node, which is actually an eclipse, I have 5 out of 7 planets in bad houses that don't see the Asc, 2 of them also combust, everything in squares. The other 2 are Saturn, my malefic out of sect and Jupiter in fall in a cadent house ruling my finances. But still, considering the family I was born in, I'm in a very good situation compared to all of them. Despite difficulties, I'm one of the less than 1% of the brazillian population that is attending a public University (which is extremely competitive to get into, and they have the highest demand because of their quality), I have a high change of actually finishing it and not dropping out. And that poor eclipsed Moon in the 12th with a malefic fixed star and the north node is the one ruling my 9th house and holding this up for me. I've seriously never seen an uggliest chart than mine, so I could never be the kind of astrologer who looks at a 12th house planet and already imagines the worse case scenario. And I've actually seen charts that looked kinda okay, but they were charts of people with very troubling lives.
I don't agree that today in general people have more oportunities to get out of poverty, because meritocracy is a monstrous lie. Life is difficult, some lives are more difficult than others and some people have more of a feeling of control than others. And there's an issue if you're telling everyone that they can do anything they put their mind to, when context actually makes things impossible, if that's just wishful thinking and simply not true. This does put pressure and blame on people to tell them that if they haven't achieved something that's because they didn't do enough "work". Some things you can't change, sometimes there isn't even enough time to understand and try to change things, so all you can offer is an ear. But I do also have an issue with the deterministic idea that tells people there's no way around things, that they should accept things the way that they are because that's the destiny their soul chose or whatever.
But the point is that you will fry your brain over the issue of fate vs free will forever and no type of astrology you study will give you an answer. This is an ages old dilemma in philosophy and any astrologer who tells you they found the answer by themselves through astrology is just mistaken and probably being a little arrogant.
*Just an observation: the nodes aren't really all that important in "western" astrology, much less their house placement. Modern astrology puts a lot of importance on them after appropriating from Vedic and the way this is done is really not good.

crack deltarune therory aka: The shadow crystals are effectivley substitutes for souls
I see a lot of talk as to who the secret bosses are, but ive seen almost nothing on the shadow crystals. Today i wanna fix that by throwing this idea out there.
one thing before you read fruther, assume 1 thing to be true. Darkners do not have souls. Without that assumption nothing i say will make sense.
basically, i think that the pure crystal in the code is a surrogate soul, and that the shadow crystals are pieces of the pure crystal. My evidence?
1: spamton and heaven
spamton's whole motivation is to go to heavan, right? To get big (non sexual). Now what is heaven? I've seen some interpret heaven as a realm above the light world, but here i'm assuming he just means the light world.
Tumblr media
The thing i want go draw attention to here is how this connects to freedom. Spamton seems to think that a soul will bring him closer to that goal, and he seems to just... know this without prior explanation? He brings it up in his first encounter too so clearly he knows that a soul = freedom. So they why does he want the neo body and by proxy a shadow crystal if he didnt also think it achived freedom?
2: darkness and determination
for the sake of this theroy, lets assume teo things that i could support but i dont wanna make this post longer than it already is. 1: Lightners have determination 2: Darkners are given determination and the will to live through thier fountains. Now that we have established that determination and life are connected, lets look at the shadow crystals. Thisr name itself is well... darkness and they perist in the light world. Therefore its notnthe crazy of a leap to assume that the shadow crystals carry determimation. What else carrys determination? Souls.
Tumblr media
the pure crystal btw is likely the combined form of the shadow crystals, freed of all darkness and ready to truly step into the light or something along those lines
Now im sure this theory isnt fool proof and i missed some seam line where he says "the shadow crystals help me go to your mother's house" or something so if i missed something, pls tell me.
toodaloo!

So, while DownFort (the current name of the TF2-inspired concept I keep talking to you about) is meant to be more of a simple world idea rather than a fully-blown game, I do have a few ideas for mechanics of said fully-blown game.
The weapon system would be a mix between TFC and TF2. 4 customizable weapon slots and a pre-determimed grenade slot.
The Scout would be an offensive-support type class. While he can be used similarly to his TF2 counterpart in quickly attacking the enemy team, his loadout revolves around more killing enemies from the sidelines or defending against opponents (which is evident by the fact that his grenade slot is occupied by a knockoff of TF2 Demoman's sticky bombs, detonator and all). Like in TF2, he is the fastest class here, only having that speed being matched by one other class.
The Pyro would be a fully offensive role, having more focus on close confrontation and burn damage (with a molotov in her grenade slot and an axe as her default melee) whilst managing the same speed as the Scout. Unlike other classes, she isn't able to do much damage from afar.
The Soldier would be the closest to his TFC counterpart, but with a few changes. He may be a bit slower, but he can still rocket jump and can still be as much of a nuisance as his counterpart in either game. One of the noticeable changes he has would be the fact that he wields a mallet instead of a crowbar.
And that's just what I've come up with so far.
I wanna learn how to make a shooter game so maybe i could help u with this :0

Wise As Serpents and Harmless As Doves.
10/16/23 1:14 a.m. Circle K
Technically it's the 17th of October, but for the sake of this entry, it's 10/16. One of.the ways I started memorizing Scripture, or sort of quizing myself on it, was every time I looked at the clock and seen what time it was I would try to recite a Bible verse that went with it. I also did the same thing with dates.
An example of this would be looking at the clock at 10:16. First verse that came to my mind was Matthew 10:16, "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves." That's from the King James Version of the Bible, but the NIV translation says, "Shrewd as serpents, and harmless as doves." I also did the same thing with dates, such as 10/16. So just like I am doing now, I think of the first verse I can, or look one up, and then do a whole study on it.
This quote from the Gospel of Matthew is a very strong warning. Not until now have I felt like I was completely surrounded by wolves. It's intimidating, and frustrating. I am not certain on what the original manuscripts say, slo I can't determine if the word 'shrewd' or ''wise' is the best translation but both words are similar in definition. Oxford Languages on a Google search defines shrewd .as 'having or showing sharp powers of judgement.'' Beimg able to clearly discern somepnes motives is a very handy gift or skill to have. Jesus warns us that we need to be shrewd as serpents. To determine how to be shrewd, or wise, as serpents we have to determime characterisrcs of a person whhl is a serpent. The word serpent can also be snake, and most people define people who are snakes as 'sneaky' or 'shsdy' because they'll bite.you. The Bible describes the serpent in genesis as 'crafty' or 'cunning. They use their craftiness to lure you into snares, or to trick you. Being wise or shrewd as serpents means we can have the ability to see the snares they are setting for us and to avoid them. We are to be as smart as them but not use this knowledge in evil ways. Because Jesus also says to be harmless as doves, so to use our shrewdness or wisdom in a wrong way would be sinful. A few ways would be for selfish gain, to hurt people, or to seek revenge. Because we are told to pray for our enemies, and that vengeance is the Lord's. (Romans 12:19, Deuteronomy 32:35)
I am the biggest fool I personally know, and i wish I would have been much more wise. Many times I had high levels lof intuition and discernment and dodged many snares that were set for me, as well as being able to see through peoples facades and see their true motives. But sadly it seems I have walked right into many snares and also was completely oblivious to who someone truly is, or what their true motives were. I suffered dearly for my lack of knowledge and also for my lack of discernment.
Driven by addiction for many years, when I first started to actually follow what Jesus said, I was tempted many many times. Trying to stay sober, i went to a well known 'grocery store/whatever you need store' one day and at the self check out i noticed a bottle of whiskey bought and paid for sitting inside a bag in the bagging area. I had the choice of walking out with the bag or leave it. Regardless of my addiction I wasn't the type to shoplift so of course I wasn't going to walk out with it. An easy no. But then it made me think, "what if someone didn't just forget the whiskey there, what if someone knew my struggle and purposefully set it there?" Could this have actually been.a snare set there to tempt me into drinking and also breaking the law by shoplifting if the whiskey wasn't actually already paid for? This idea of someone tricking me into commiting a crime or tempting me into sinning might sound slightly paranoid to you, but this kind of thing turned out to be an actual tactic used by the enemy in the Bible.
Numbers 22 tells a story about a king who offers a prophet named Balaam riches to place a curse on the Israelites. After talking to God on a few separate occasions, Balaam tells the king he can't curse them because God told him he isn't allowed to, so he must decline his offer. Later on in Numbers 31 that Balaam is killed. In Revelation 2:14, we find out that although Balaam wasn't allowed to curse the Israelites, he gave the king the idea of sanding women and other things to them to tempt them into sinning. And by sinning, the Israelites would actually place curses on themselves. As you can see from this story, if the enemy can not place a curse on you, they will attempt to trick you into placing one on yourself.
Addiction brought brief moments or days of relief, followed by severe repercussions. A lot of the time I was blaming everyone and everything else, but not realizing I was bringing curses on myself simply by my choices, actions and reactions. (The story of Adam and Eve in the garden in Genesis teaches us a lesson about accountability for our actions.)
Take heed of this story and be reminded of Jesus' words. Wise as serpents, harmless as doves. Self examine and take.note of all your weaknesses and anything you could be tempted by. This is where the enemy will likely hit you-- any way they can. Then formulate a plan to combat against such temptations. Read Matthew 4 where Jesus is led to the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. The devil tempts him three different times and each time Jesus replies with Scripture. Jesus calls himself The Way for a reason. Not only is He the only way to the Father(John 14:6) and the only way to salvation, He also showed us how to handle certain situations in life and also instructed us on how we are supposed to live as followers of His..
I may very well be a fool, but please take heed of the Word of God. For anyone struggling with alcohol or substance abuse, food, gambling, sex or pornography + Any and all addictions, I pray that you may break any chains of addiction, and I pray that you overcome any temptation and find the strength to persevere through any difficulties or trials that you are faced with. May God protect you and your family and may the Holy Spirit give you the wisdom to be shrewd as serpents and harmless as doves. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Hexquad incinerate Colli's wanted posters
Good morning! Thanks for the request!
Drabble: Burning Posters
Luz took a lot of fire glyphs. She, along with the rest of the Hexsquad, decided to finally incinerate Colli's exaggerated wanted posters. The celestial boy with otherworldly fluffy lavender hair and a heart of gold didn't deserve to be seen as bloodthirsty creature.
Colli was the opposite! He was sweet and selfless. And he was as cute as a button. He never would hurt anyone. "Ready?" Hunter asked. "Ready!" Luz said with determimation. Soon, the wanted posters bursted out into flames. A few minutes later, only ashes remained.
