It feels like the editing for the "im pregnant" scene is really weird? it takes her an hour and lots of dramatic faces for her to spill it out and then another hour of them weirdly smiling to each other lol idk, i understand she was nervous and then they were happy but i feel like it could have been edited better. Not bashing the acting of course, they nailed it

I'm not sure why it felt so long and awkward to you, I checked because I'm me, but between the moment Peter stops hugging Olivia, followed by her pregnancy announcement and them kissing, only one minute goes by. I wish we'd had actual hours of them basking in that happy glow 🥲

Because that's what we see all over Olivia's face and in her body language in that scene. Happiness.

And I think that what may seem a bit disconcerting to watch. Olivia is hardly ever shown happy. Hell, the woman was LYING DEAD WITH A BULLET HOLE IN HER HEAD 10 minutes ago. She's in shock from that. She's in shock from learning she's pregnant. She's genuinely overwhelmed by the fact that she's going to have a child with the man she loves.

PLEASE LET THIS WOMAN BE HAPPY

Anna NAILED the hell out of this scene. Like, the quiet bewilderment?? Nearly vibrating from nerves while waiting for Peter to stop rambling so she can tell him??? It looks strange and brand new because Olivia literally never behaves like this at any other point in the show. Because she's never been in this situation until that very scene.

Okay I lied. The only other time before that scene I remember seeing something similar on Olivia's face is at the end of Bloodline when Altiv holds baby!Henry.

Anna Torv was pulling the pregnant/brand new mommy glow like the queen that she is.

if i have to see one more person say that the show downgraded gabe from being abusive to just bad im gonna get my head stuck through a wall out of frustration. sally had to ask him permission to leave her own home with a car she probably pays for as the only person with income. our first impression is him being verbally abusive to a repair person. percy has to brace himself before going inside because he knows it's not safe in HIS own home. gabe ANSWERS SALLYS PHONE WITHOUT HER PERMISSION. he only backs down from making fun of percy when he finds out he was kicked out of school for violence- he's almost impressed. we didnt see gabe physically assault anyone but we have a whole season left to see him go on public tv and frame his own stepson for murder. please please understand that sally yelling back at her abuser does not make him any less abusive or mean he has any less power over her
