a small note left in axel's room, in saix's neat script- "check the freezer. i've warned off the other members and made sure they're yours. share them as you please. oh, and on an unrelated note, i'll be in radiant garden tomorrow from noon till sundown. in case you feel so inclined to visit. merry christmas, lea. -isa". inside the freezer is a box of sea salt ice cream.

Taking his hairtie out of his mouth to pull his hair back, he picked the note up and instantly recognized his friend’s handwriting, quietly reading it over and pumping his fist in a victory with a grin on his face, heading to check out his little gift in the freezer. His eyes had briefly scanned the last half though once he slowed his pace he reread it and stopped, raising an eyebrow before letting a rather soft look cross his face- he’d definitely take him up on that offer.

But for now- the freezer was calling his name, and so were the treats left behind by the diviner. He’d most definitely share them with Xion and Roxas, maybe Demyx? It’d depend on who wanted to have one- even if he could eat an entire box in a week, three days given the challenge. And oh he’d most definitely give one to Saïx, a thank you to put it simply. Shrugging he opened the door, snagged the box and opened it, grabbing a bar, opening that as well then popping it into his mouth and closing everything down- he’d figure out the dilemma later, for now he had his treat to enjoy this fine Christmas day.At least some parts of their friendship was salvaged, it was all he could ask for.

‘Just be careful.’That just made him stop and stare at the floor, how could he be when they’d inevitably have to fight one another- it made his stomach turn in knots but swallowing his fears down only proved to worsen them, so instead he just sighed and faced his friend with a frown.

“And yet you know I can’t keep that promise.” Lea muttered, folding his arms over his chest, “With Xehanort out there and-” a hand raised so he could bite at a finger, having to advert his gaze for the time being. It was hard. It was REALLY hard, facing him like this and meeting golden eyes instead of the marine ones he used to harbor. It made his blood boil, everything they went through had been for NOTHING. And even if it seemed that way, he’d find a way to get him back. Back to normal.Back to Isa.“…..You’re the one who needs to be careful.” Finally reaching a hand out to hold onto his shoulder, he gave him a smile. “I promise I’m gonna get you back.”He’d die trying if he had too.
