Deca-Dence's run was very short and left much up to the imagination. With this fic, I hoped to fill in some of the gaps in storytelling and worldbuilding, as well as process my own ideological struggles that peaked around the time I watched the series. This anime has an extremely unique and absurd twist revealed in only the very second episode.....but more than one internet reviewer completely misunderstood what was going on and even gave the series a negative review as a result!
