La masterclass en comedia Americana por Adam Sandler

¿Existe algo más sinónimo a una película de comedia que Adam Sandler y sus amigos? En mi opinión no lo hay. Cuando se trata de un humor para todas las edades las películas de Grown Ups y Grown Ups 2 son exactamente lo que buscas. Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, Kevin James, David Spade y Chris Rock se unen en esta primera película para ofrecer comedia americana en todo su esplendor.

La comedia como ya hemos aprendido en clase es completamente cultural y las películas de comedia de Adam Sandler son un ejemplo perfecto de lo que le es gracioso a las personas de Estados Unidos. Es un humor muy característico de la región, utiliza lo que podríamos llamar técnicas básicas de risa o comedia para obtener risas del público. En este caso Grown Ups (2010), dirigida por Dennis Dugan utiliza los subgéneros de comedia física, comedia escatológica y comedia sexual para su película. Estos tipos de comedia son presentados a lo largo de la película con las típicas normas de un filme de este género.

Utilizan una estructura narrativa convencional con la introducción siendo el reencuentro y presentación de los personajes principales; este sucede en el funeral del coach de basquetbol que los unió a todos. Al mismo tiempo que nos presentan a los personajes principales, muestran en cierto modo los clichés o estereotipos de cada uno de ellos. Comenzando con Lenny ‘Hollywood’ Feder (Adam Sandler) y su esposa Roxanne Chase-Feder (Salma Hayek) quienes son la pareja adinerada, con tres niños malcriados y una niñera. Luego tenemos a Eric Lamonsoff (Kevin James) y Sally Lamonsoff (Maria Bello) una típica familia con dos hijos que vive en los suburbios intentando salir adelante. Continuamos con Curt McKenzie (Chris Rock) como el imperfecto “stay-at-home dad” y a Deanne McKenzie (Maya Rudolph) la mamá trabajadora, ellos viven junto a la dogmática y terca suegra de Curt y sus dos hijos. Rompiendo con patrón de personajes con parejas nos presentan a Marcus Higgins (Davis Spade) el solterón y promiscuo miembro del grupo de amigos. Finalmente la última pareja en el grupo es Rob Hilliard (Rob Schneider) y su esposa mayor Gloria (Joyce Van Patten) un par espiritual, holístico y extraño. Este grupo de cinco amigos desde la infancia se reúnen y durante la semana del 4 de Julio viven experiencias chistosas, incluso en los momentos serios y enfrentan todo sus obstáculos con gracia.

Los diferentes estereotipos permiten que la narrativa fluya de manera tranquila mientras que sus atributos individuales le dan una ligereza de tono a toda la película. Le permite hacer un pequeño arco a los personajes, en especial a la familia Feder, pero estos son los valores que los demás ya tenían y solo era necesario sacarlos a la luz. Esto los vuelve más unidos y permite que disfrutemos juntos con ellos cada escena donde se comportan igual que cuando eran pequeños.

Aunque la mayoría de las bromas son muy obvias, y no requieren de mucho para entenderlas sigue brindando entretenimiento y una característica emblemática de las películas de comedia de Sandler que son que siempre terminas de verla con una sonrisa en la cara y un “feel good” ending.

"𝑨𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒔: 𝑬𝒏𝒅𝒈𝒂𝒎𝒆"

“Avengers: Endgame” is an-American film, based on Marvel comics that premiered on April 22, 2019. It is based on “Marvel Comics”, the story is the end of a saga made up of four films. Avengers is a group of superheros, in which Iron Man and Captain America stand out. In this movie, the group fights an enemy called “Thanos””, he wants to destroy fifty percent of the universe, to achieve an exact balance. To achieve his goal, he must collect six “gems of infinity” which are hidden around of Galaxy. At the end of the movie, we see how they get them all.

“Avengers: Endgame”, begins some time after the end of “Infinity War”, when the “Blip”, it is what they call the disappearance of fifty percent of the universe. The “Blip” already worked and even some of the Avengers team disappeared such as “Spiderman”, “Falcon” and “The Scarlet Witch.” With the passage of time, the avengers want to go back in time, and this is how the movie goes, they try to beat “Thanos” again and we get to the end of the movie. I think it would have been the best ending, if it weren't so sad, because I cried a lot with him.

Personally, I really enjoy these types of movies, the action is very good, and the characters are funny and I have fun. "Iron Man" or "Tony Stark" is one of my favorite avengers, I think his personality is very strong. I think he should have been the best superhero of the movie. I think they should have done another movie, because the plot is amazing.

My rating for this movie is 10/10.

“Grown ups” is an American comedy film, the story is about 5 friends who won their middle school basketball, their names are Lenny Feder, Eric Lamonsoff, Kurt McKenzie, Marcus Higgins, and Rob Hilliard. They reunite 30 years later learning about the sudden death of their basketball coach.

Lenny Feder is my favorite character; he is a successful talent agent. He lives in Hollywood with his wife Roxanne, she is a very popular fashion designer. They have 3 children, Greg Keithie, and Becky. They are millionaires. Eric Lamonsoff has two children named Donna and Bean, his wife is Sally, she is very beautiful and Bean is very cute. Kurt doesn't have a job and is at home with his two children, his wife's name is Deanne and she is pregnant with their third child and her mother Ronzoni lives with them. Marcus Higgins is very nice and happy, but he is lazy. Rob is married to his wife Gloria; she is much older. It is very funny because they might have been mother and son.

Lenny rents the lake house for everyone to stay over Fourth of July. He wants his children to play in nature and enjoy the trip without cell phones. That's where the various activities in the film take place. My favorite part of the movie is when they go to the water park and everyone is having fun. They must have been good friends when they are kids because everyone enjoyed the weekend

This movie is one of my favorites and I would have recommended this movie many times because the plot is very funny. I think everyone should see it. Also, the actors are very good, I have seen the movie more than 10 times and I love it.

To all the boys I've loved before is a movie from the United States of teen love, based on the novel by Jenny Han from 2014. There's three to all the boys I´ve loved before movies . This is the first one, which is ”To all the boys Forever”. Ok, first of all, this movie is centered in Lara Jean´s Covey, and one day, suddenly, her most secret love letters came out. I like that Lara Jean is a very passionate person and sentimental, and I like the fact that her essence is present in the whole trilogy. But, this movie also is very cliché, cause Lara Jean is a typical high school girl that is a very shy person, and then there is Peter Kavinsky, one of the guys who Lara Jean sent a love letter. After Peter gets the letter they start a relationship. Peter Kavinsky is the typical popular guy who all the girls fall in love for, he is a member of the school team, this is why I say it is cliché cause Lara Jean is the unpopular girl in highschools and Peter the opposite to her. But, they helped each other to heal their minds and their problems. I think they could have made more in the second movie, maybe they should have done a different idea more far away than the original story. Like based on it but not too similar, and again another cliché, Lara Jean between two guys, John Ambrose- Mclaren and her boyfriend Peter Kavisky. The third movie is the most real in my thought, because it shows a very real problem between a couple of teens, the separation when the university begins. I mean they were allowed to make a really good story, with a very mahure end, Peter and Lara Jean making the most good decision for the both of them, their careers, hopes and dreams. They must have been very much in love and i really recommend the trilogy just for the third movie.

My score for this trilogy is 8.5
