I honestly don't think the Glamrocks are affected by the Glitch or the Mimics or MXES influence anymore in Ruin.
Just saying... Like if I suffered HALF of what the Glamrocks suffered through, I WOULD be angry and lashing out.
This is them actually being free of the glitch....
With Monty, every part of him is broken and his casing is stripped entirely. Only his anger remains and there's nothing left for him to think rationally but lash out at all around him.
Chica is walking on her last legs. We literally see her die twice. She only pursues us cause she fell into a charging station, and she's just trying to pursue her favorite comfort.... Food. Before she collapses in Roxy Raceway, as the charge doesn't last. Chica, when she eats, also rotates her head to look behind her occasionally. Paranoid someone will shove her in a trash compactor again.
Roxy is just desperate to get her eyes back and hunts at every little sound. Hoping to maul Gregory to death. But retreats when she comes across a child in her database she remembers from her voice.
The little music men are kinda minding their own business. As I noticed in my playthrough, the ones who are sleeping only wake up when you RUN by them or get close enough. They're sensitive to sound and they're just vibing. You make noise running by and annoying them, they'll eliminate the source of the noise.
All MXES is doing is sending a distress signal to the animatronics. And in their broken programing, they sense an intruder and go after it.
They're actually working as intended.
They're just suffering under severe trauma and are lashing out at anyone they come across.

how come u an danachan always bash yugakure? yes they pulled out of bein a shinobi village, but its not like they did it when there were wars going on, theyd have no choice but to fight. countries like switzerland, and canada (most of the time) do the same thing, where they stay impartial, and they aren't weak countries. yugakure wanted a more peaceful living where no on had to die and they could make esy money - whats wrong with that?
ups I just saw this after Dana ranted ^-^’ I think she basicly covered all the things I would say honestly :D
you can check it here.

It's so fascinating the circus themed mini games in Helpwanted2.
It's fascinating that the FNAF4 house burns outside of the carousel mini game.
It's fascinating how Moon is the most reoccurring animatronic in this game as a whole, even playing a pivotal role in one of the endings.
It's also double fascinating that Sun seems to understand Fazbear Entertainment has scummy practices, like making children's art their international property if created on their property. He knows he's neglected, knows no one will fix him. (And only desperately approached Cassie in ruin cus she had the tools. )
Sun knows that Fazbear let's things fall by the wayside if they're not bringing money, like the carousel itself.
All of this new info has me thinking....
Maybe the Daycare Attendant wasn't even a theatre bot for Fazbear Entertainment in the first place.
I wonder if he was an animatronic designed for a Carnival or the Circus, and Fazbear Entertainment bought him out for their theatre.
Things like that are not unheard of in this universe. Especially when the books are concerned.
So it could be a possibility.
Consider that the balloon boy world minigame found in Sun and Moon's room, you play as a Balloon boy, who runs away from the circus to go on a journey past the mountains.
...I don't know. It's a thought.
I feel it gives Sun's passive agressiveness and self awareness of Fazbear's shitty practices a bit more sense. Cause he was never made for them to begin with.

Things from the ruin dlc that keep me up at night.
Spoilers under the cut.
SERIOUSLY DO NOT READ IF YOU'RE AVOIDING SPOILERS.
Disclaimer: I wrote this before I had seen Everything the DLC has to offer or all the endings yet. I was on the wrong track, but I think my cooking before I knew everything was good cooking. I have more concrete theories now under #danachan's rants
Something that I was 100% right about that I was going to write into Lofi eventually.... But I guess I'll talk about it now since the dlc confirmed it.
But Balloon Boy world was literally Eclipses cage as I suspected. It was suppressing them. It wasn't an evil arcade or Eclipse was living in there. Eclipse's AI was being suppressed in the arcade cabinet.
Eclipse is how they talk to eachother, and Eclipse was asleep and completely blocked off from the Virus. So Sun and Moon had no communication with eachother anymore. Which is why they were both so stressed and lost.
I was astounded I got that completely correct in regards to what Eclipse is, and what the balloon boy game is.
(the dlc does not explain the Dcas weird connection to Vanessa and why the arcade cabinet was in Afton's boss fight room though)
Bonus points Moon talks exactly how I write him when speaking about the Sun and the Moon.
Another thing that has been mind-blowing me that all the comic book endings are scenarios that GREGORY DREW.
And according to the dlc....
The Afton Burntrap Blob ending is another one of those endings that he drew.
Which means Peepaw Afton and the Blob were never real in the first place.
Which is why no one could really figure out what the blob is.
It doesn't exist.
Princess Quest ending was the canon ending.
Vanessa leaving the Pizzaplex with Gregory is the canon ending.
The ending where you fight Afton in the basement.... Never happened and was just Gregory attempting to make sense of the FNAF lore that Vanessa probably explained to him. Since in the DLC, we do find a book about Fazbear History in Vanny's room.
I honestly don't know if Steel Wool retroactively made Burntrap non-canon due to everyone making fun of him, not taking him seriously and hating the blob, or if this was always the case. Because despite the Afton ending being the hardest to get.... It's still a two star ending.
So it's hard and too early for me to tell if I want to give them points for that soft retcon. I mean I don't blame them honestly.
But yeah. Skeleton man Afton in the basement and his best friend the Blob isn't actually real, and neither is Freddy's "I am not me" speech either.... Which honestly makes sense. Because it's all Gregory's comic book trying to make sense of FNAF Lore he doesn't understand.
Also, I can say definitively, and finally, Afton is not the Mimic. Glitchtrap exists as its own entity in this, and the Mimic seems to have its own agenda. It's unclear if Afton is possessing the Mimic via virus corruption, but for now, I believe the Mimic is acting of its own will.
And man oh man. I feel so sorry for people who haven't been keeping up with Tales of the Pizzaplex Books.
The ending of the dlc is just really "who's Henry???" From pizzasim all over again huh....
Anyways. Those are my thoughts. I will be streaming the dlc again tomorrow. Gonna try and get a better ending, but I have a suspicion they're all sad.

Remember I first started to write Lofi Beats to Capture Children to, around two years ago based on the entire Concept that the Daycare Attendant was built with child napping, and nefarious purposes in mind?
Wondering who could have possibly made him and that I basically said the Daycare Attendant seems built with similar purposes that Circus Baby and the Funtime Animatronics have? That the Daycare Attendant is meant to be a death trap for the children outside of the Virus? A Child-napping, and Child-sleeping machine built to bring the Children to Vanny specifically and the Virus had very little to do with this???
That he was Meant to be Vanny's Puppet from the start? To do her bidding?

Been meaning to say this for awhile, but I hope more mascot horror going forward takes more pages from Amanda the Adventurer's Book.
Stop worrying about marketing to the children so much, and make an actual horrifying scenario based around a warped sense of Childhood Nostalgia. Amanda dealing with themes of abandonment, loss, and entrapment and can also be a deconstructive look at how some child actors get treated if you look deep on it. (and these are all my own opinions btw.. I haven't watched any game theory or whatever ppl are saying about it.)
Which is way more interesting to me then "evil science experiments, or a serial killer turned these mascots evil now."
I really loved this game since it's Beta premise and I'm glad it is gaining traction on youtube.
I hope that we haven't seen the last of Amanda. There's probably plans for a sequel, or even a whole franchise.
I just hope that the creators keep Amanda how it is, and try not to lean into that kids horror marketing. Not that there's nothing wrong with horror for kids, but I feel mascot horror is always stronger as a genre when it's appealing to "adults who remember growing up with this stuff" rather then "children who will buy our toys"

I'm still saying Afton is not the Mimic
Spoilers for the Ruin DLC under the Cut. I wanted to include this in my mega post... but I know that the fandom is flooded with "the Mimic was Afton all along" theories right now actually.
There will be a lot under the cut, explaining some personal theories and the ending of the RUIN DLC so... be warned.
The Mimic, if you read the books, (but you probably haven't so I'll explain it in a few short sentences) is a character from the Tales of the Pizzaplex Books that was built by a Faz Engineer who made a robot to mimic his son to keep him company while he worked long hours while he lived in a factory. The child died in a car accident, and the Mimic kept miming his son's behavior. So in his grief, the engineer beat him to death in rage and grief. This infused rage in the machine.
So now the Mimic mimes behavior of a four year old, but it's corrupted and twisted. It will mime the action of 'scooping icecream' but will be scooping out your brains. It also has an adaptive learning AI so the violent pain it experienced, along with a four year old teaching it, it's a very dangerous thing.
It's also buried into the foundation of the Pizzaplex. And was reprogramed by some dumb lazy tech to clear the debris down there. By disassembling the robots and putting them in a pile. Which it did to all the human construction workers by disassembling them and putting them in a pile.
"This pile" I think is the Blob. Or as the game files refer to it.... "THE TANGLE."
Tumblr media
(hard to see but take my word for it. that's him)
Tumblr media
(cheating camera angle)
I think "The Tangle" is a infused pile of machinery, robots, and bodies that have all wound up down there.
So, we know that the blob is real. But I really think it's "The pile" that the Mimic has been stacking in the Book Epilogues. And it got out. Gregory/Mimic or Grimmick, says that something tunneled out of the building... And I believe this is 100% true. Because in Base Security Breach, we see this thing in the underground where Afton's room is.
But in RUIN.... This thing is on the top level??? HOw Did he get up here???
Easy..
He tunneled up.
So... the reason why RUIN looks like it does, and HOW it looks how it does...
Is because The Tangle got loose. And has been using the Pizzaplex as it's own series and network of tunnels like a burrowing snake or ant. Causing the entire building to fall in on itself. The Pizzaplex is it's ecosystem now. So that's why everything is falling apart how it is. He's breaking the very foundation and walls of everything.
So we do know the Blob IS real.
And let's assume that he's "the pile" that the Mimic has been building in the Tales of the Pizzaplex Epilouges. Just... sorting all the garbage, bodies, and endos into piles that he can find and stack.
So we know the Blob is real... but is Afton Burntrap real?
Forgive me I don't have the proper collectable screenshots so I'm pulling from the Wiki:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Throughout the game, you collect these real collectable comics that include all of the endings of Security Breach. And Cassie can recognize this as Gregory's art style, and has no idea when he had the time to make these or when he made them. EXCEPT Princess Quest. Which is pretty important I think. Which I think cements that Princess Quest is the definitive three star ending.
It's also worth noting that in Vanny's Room in the RUIN DLC... there is a book of "Fazbear History" by Vanny's Bed. So if Vanessa was freed and got out... we can assume she was talking to Gregory about the Fnaf lore as she knows it.
Also, it makes sense why some of these endings are a little insane now. cause it was just Gregory trying to process everything that happened to him at the Pizzaplex.
Gregory: So, I thought you had a twin sister for the longest time and-
Vanessa: Try again...
But anyway... if None of the previous endings were real.... Is Burntrap even real?
Tumblr media
We collect this before we face the Mimic.... of Afton and the Blob. So we know The Blob/Tangle is real.... but was Afton ever real? Was Burntrap ever real? That's what we need to answer...
But if he isn't.... Why is his charging station down here in the furnace room all clouded up? ....As if it never was opened. As if he rotted inside with no more remnant to collect???
Cause here's the thing... I can accept the soft retconning of Afton. And if he was never real to begin with, and this is just Gregory's personal interpretation based on what Vanessa told them about what she was suffering through, I will take that. Or maybe Gregory saw the Mimic and interpreted it as this... I will take that as well.
However....
From what I said earlier... The Mimic... All his motivations in the game don't line up with Afton's.
He is doing exactly what he wants to do.
The Mimic is sealed in the back with Concrete... he's using Helpi and the VANNI Network to get Cassie to let him out. He just wants to get out of the basement and get Free.
Now... if Mimic is Afton the whole time...
and there is a case for it... they have almost the same idle animations as an endo, the Mimic does have Burntrap's claws on one hand. And he does have a similar pawed foot to Burntrap's design and they're practically identical height and pose.
And the Mimic is almost one-for-one linked with Hepi and the VANNI network. And I don't doubt that Vanny the person was using the VANNI network to get around the pizzaplex and become invisible to certain animatronics.
.....But...
here's a big But...
If the Mimic's goal is to kill people with his bare hands... and to get out of the concrete sealed basement, and break all the Security Nodes so he can get free???
WHY DOES THE PIZZAPLEX HAVE SO MANY MISSING PEOPLE/CHILDREN?
Why was the Human Staff all killed in the Pizzaplex?
Why are their children missing?
Why is Vanny hunting children and adults alike to kill in the first place?
This is not the Mimic's MO.
Because Vanny WAS working under influence of Glitchtrap and not the Mimic.
Because if the Mimic just wanted to get out... He would have told Vanny/Vanessa... head of Security.... To break all the Security Nodes A WHOLE LOT SOONER. Cause she literally has a VANNI Mask/suit and access to all of that.
The Mimic has no need for remnant or child killing or human killing if they aren't doing it themselves. The Mimic has always been very hands on with their kills.
But If Burntrap Afton is REAL... HE DOES have a reason for gathering this much Remenant.
He is growing in the charging station and trying to regrow his body.
And while the Mimic moves in a similar fashion to Burntrap, I think that's because he witnessed his behavior at one point and is copying it. But he never saw Afton in his prime. So he literally can't mimic the serial killer behaviors Afton is known for. Just likely his walk and how he breathes.
Because He literally can not copy Afton as a copy-cat killer, if there is NO Afton to Copy. There is no way that he could have learned who Afton was from all the way down below into the foundation. Especially with MXES keeping it hidden down there. And by "hidden" I'm sure it's hidden from Glitchtrap to even possess or check out that low.
People have to remember. The Mimic doesn't have access to illusion disc technology from the books. he can't replicate a corpse face. He's just a learning killer AI who has access to crappy mascot costumes. He can't look one-for-one like a person, even if he can sound like one.
So, there is a possibility that Burntrap Afton DID exist... He just rotted into dust once Vanny stopped collecting remnant for him.
Or there's also the possibility he was never real to begin with.
But.... Glitchtrap certainly was at one point. And Vanny was working with Glitchtrap to kill employees and children.
Not the Mimic.
Just their motivations and modus operandi don't add up if they are one in the same.
It wouldn't make sense for the Mimic to just tell Vanny to parade around in a bunny suit, kidnapping children and killing employees.
He would be telling her to disable the Security Nodes.
There is also the possibility that Vanessa sealed the Mimic in concrete after the events of Security Breach. But even then, I really don't think that she knew about it before hand until she went down to the basement to unplug Burntrap from his charging station.
Anyways... The only way I will see "Mimic is Afton" is that if Afton was using it's body. But then, it's not the Mimic anymore, it's just another Afton-clone.
And from everything from how I've seen the behavior of the Mimic in the DLC, it is operating completely divorced from Afton with it's own motivations and morals of it's own accord.
Oh, just to be clear, I'm not mad at this soft-retcon of burntrap. It's fine. Lol I actually prefer if he didn't exist.
And even if Burntrap was never real in the first place....
Then it means that Vanny was purely an agent of Glitchtrap.
Then when the Glitchtrap Virus got destroyed.... the Mimic hijacked the VANNI network and took it's place.

Fnaf Movie thoughts!
I wanted to ramble some of thoughts and theories I had about the Fnaf Movie.
Cause the brainrot is real and won't leave my brain.
(wow just read back that sentence. Excuse any grammar errors or dumb shit, I'm still very sick)
Below the cut will feature heavy spoilers, so unless you want to be spoiled of the major twists this movie has, I would recommend wait to read this.
I unfortunately couldn't see the movie in my theatres, cause I got horribly sick and wasn't able to get the full theatre experience.
I was able to watch on Peacock, with all my fnaf plushies with a super sinus clogged headache, so that's the mindset I had. lol
Anyway.. Movie time
I absolutely LOVED Mike and Abby. First off.
I didn't even mind a lot of time of the movie was spent AWAY from Freddy's. Because so much is just about learning about Mike and his family and connection to Abby.
Sure, we could have spent the WHOLE movie at Freddy's. But that is not what this movie is about. And it's clearly trying to tell a bigger mystery and this felt a very introduction friendly entry point to anyone confused about the fnaf lore.
I love how completely obsessed Mike is with Dream theory. To the point he's taking heavy duty sleeping pills on his job that he clearly doesn't need and just is doing it so he can relive his dreams/fabricated memories.
The intro credits with the 8-bit style graphics of the minigames in fnaf2-4??? Like bro? I cried. That was so iconic and they fill in the backstory for the purple guy, who actually appears as his sprite??? Like... Man iconic.
Also... Dude... Mike Schmitt in the movie is like... what the Fans wanted Mike in the games to be for YEARS. Like... Mike in the games is nothing. He's a silent face. We know so little about him, and everything else is purely speculative. Even the whole "he was foxy bro and has regret over his brother" ...That's all theory and not confirmed. As far as we know, Crying child and his brother might not even be Afton kids.
But this Mike is EXACTLY the motivations we wanted Mike to have? If that makes sense? He laments his brother was taken at a young age and expresses regret and motivation to want to get him back. he has the motivations that the fandom built for him for years and ran with it, and I LOVE THAT.
FNAF Movie actually gives good reasons why Mike comes back every night, as said in Living Tombstone's iconic song "why do you want to stay?" Cause of his regrets with his brother and his obsession with dream theory and doesn't realize the animatronics are a threat until like... night four.
THE ANIMATRONICS?? THE PUPPETS??? THEY LOOK SO GOOD??? HECK YEAH!!!!
I SCREAMED when I recognized Matpat's voice, and then I saw his face. Reconized him for his voice WAY before I saw his face. I didn't think he'd have a speaking or face cameo and get to say his iconic "it's just a theory" line and about food too??? King shit.
Letting the animatronics have moments where they can just be cute and friendly as well as creepy and bloodthirsty is so great! I want to give them all pets.
THE CHILD ACTORS ARE ALL SO GOOD! To the point you don't even notice! It's often hard to get children to play a convincing performance, but these children acted really well! They must have a real talented director who knew how to get the best of their child actors. You don't even realize that the child actors are great, cause they're so good it's unnoticeable. AMAZING
VANESSA BEING WILLIAM AFTON'S DAUGHTER IS NOTHING SHORT OF BRILLIANT!!!!
I MEAN, I SCREAMED WHEN SHE SAID "William Afton My father"
I was screaming about this in my group chat.
I was screaming for a thousand years.
AND IT makes sense why the cops never found the bodies. Vanessa is a cop! She's covering for her father!
I absolutely LOVE what a girl failure Vanessa is too!
Like she shows up, HEAVILY flirts with Mike (like she was laying it on so thick my demisexual ass was picking up on her vibe) and just shows up to give him exposition on the FNAF lore. fheogheahf. Like. It's great.
(no doubt she was flirting heavily with Mike at the start due to manipulation from her father, I do believe it grows to genuine fondness later)
I've heard people complain about her flipflop nature... BUT THAT's the POINT!
Tumblr media
(a literal arcade game in security breach.)
She let Abby play with the animatronics, knowing it was dangerous. Her original plan was to kill Mike, but she changes her plans when she sees he has a kid. (who she thought was his daughter at first) It was only after Abby got injured by Accident, she realized that what a danger she posed by brining them here at all. She only threatened to shoot Mike because she hoped that such an extreme threat would get him to quit. She even tells him about how many security guards quit. But it doesn't.
She even said she tried to warn in her own way. She's terrified of her father. And we get deep foreshadowing about that throughout the movie.
I really hope that in some sequels we will get to see Vanny at some point. Maybe even Springtrap and Vanny working together in the same movie??? CAN YOU IMAGINE THIS?!?!? I WOULD GO FERAL
Anyway, Vanessa is such a girl failure and my girl blorbo. I support her and her woman's wrongs
The minor look of regret after Will stabs his daughter... peak cinema.
The springlock scene... The quiet of the stabs, giving such a realistic collapse... the "I always come back" ...Embracing the monster he knows he is. He is the mask. He isn't hiding behind the mask, like he is being Steve. he is the mask now. Just... Chefs kiss.
The animatronics dragging springtrap away mirrors the ending of Silver Eyes so well, and I'm glad, because that was the best part of the Silver eyes. <3
THE LIVING TOMBSTONE GOT TOP BILLING FOR THE FIRST CREDITS SONG! PERFECT
Garret is 100% going to be the Puppet in the Movie Series. He was the one taken in the car, the spelling out in the minigame sounds at the very end says: "COME FIND HIM" And after Living Tombstone ends, the credits music fades into Grandfather's clock music box... Puppet's song..... Garret will be the Puppet in this universe and I so look forward to that.
I enjoyed the movie. I'm glad that they left the overarching mystery of Garret open to be explored in the sequel.

Where's my unhinged Sun?
And not in a murder, manipulation yandere way.
I mean in a constantly screaming, foot in mouth, horribly passive aggressive, can't hide his emotions crying if a music shaker knocks over kinda way.
This man couldn't manipulate his way out of a paper bag.
His daycare only has ONE rule because he has no boundaries with anything and is just desperate for attention to be on him.
Where's my unhinged Sun?
The Sun that screams at you.
The Sun who, is very forward in his actions about what he wants even if he doesn't explicitly explain himself. (Constantly grabbing Gregory if he moves one foot away from him cus he doesn't want him to find the security desk or turn the lights off or leave his sight)
The Sun that throws children out of the Daycare if they piss him off to literally die.
He has the mental stability of a fainting goat.
I do think these traits are just a result of being abandoned for so long....
But I just think that he's always had these issues. So even if the story takes place before or after the events of Security Breach, I do think he should still exhibit some of those behaviors. Even if to a lesser extent.
I think the idea steamed from, "oh he works with children so he's good at manipulating kids to do what he needs them to do" hahahaha... No he's not. He can't hold Gregory in place for five seconds before he gets ignored and Gregory goes awall. And the messages in the dufflebags claim kids are scared of Sun as well as Moon. It's both of them.
Everytime I see Sun act with some level of level of passive agressive master manipulation like he's Kira or something....
Cool characterization. Appreciate it. Like to see a new side of him cus there's not much to work from in the games.
Not my Daycare Attendent tho.

The FNAF character Encyclopedia is weird.
It has a lot of details that don't make sense.
Such as the Crying Child called the Protagonist of FNAF4, when he is only for the minigames...
A weird two page article of Helpy that calls him awful and the worst....
Weird typos and contradictory information...
Now... I know this is likely because it was rushed out the scholastic house from people who probably didn't care...
But...
It's SO MUCH FUNNIER to me...
If Michael Wrote it.
As he did for the Official guidebook.
It explains so much if that was the case.
His burning hatred of Helpy, his insistence that his brother experienced the nightmares
It could even explain why there's a lot of weird errors and inconsistencies. And why it complains about Helpy so much, and why there's NO entry for mike himself.
It's probably not true, but it's Sooooo funny to imagine
Mike going 'yeah that's probably right" on his seventh cup of coffee.
So that's my headcannon now.

How does the Mimic know so much about Cassie?!?! Theory Speculation
Something I've been wondering on the course of my playthrough was how the Mimic knew a lot about Cassie.
Maybe not her personally...
But here's the thing...
The Mimic is shown to have communication through HELPI. The message he sent to Cassie was Gregory and when Cassie arrives she says:
"Gregory, are you there? I got your message!"
So this means that the Mimic sent Cassie a message OUTSIDE of the confines of the Pizzaplex.
(Unless you get into the theory that it was real Gregory who sent the outside message in the first place and then from then on out since she got there she was being manipulated by the Mimic through the Roxy-Talky but...........We don't have time to unpack all that... and it does line up with what we know about Patient 46 and GGY..... bbuuuuuuuuttt One theory at a time... lol )
Let's say for the sake of the argument that the Mimic was the one who sent the Outside Message for Cassie for help.
Because... We know what Gregory's message is.
We heard it in the trailer:
youtube
Gregory's message in Text:
"Cassie I hope you get this message. I'm trapped. Here at the pizzaplex or what's left of it. I don't have time to go into how I got here. But you have to help me out! Save me Cassie please! It's so dark down here!
Don't give up on me yet."
(granted the "don't give up on me yet" is more trailer bait line as Steel Wool talking directly to the consumers then what I think was actually in Gregory's message... but I do think the first part is definitely the message Cassie gets.)
This is the message that the Mimic left Cassie. I would say... on her cellphone... But... we know Cassie doesn't have a cellphone at her age.
We can safely assume so because she would have tried to use her cell phone a LONG time ago to try and reach Gregory.
I think that Grimmic left this message on Cassie's home phone. And we know her Dad is out of the picture right now. Steel Wool makes it REALLY intentionally vague if her Dad is alive or dead considering he was a human Staff at the Pizzaplex. She always uses past tense or ambiguous tense when talking about her dad, but it's always unclear if she's speaking in past Tense about Bonnie or her Dad.
But.. We do know that her Dad is not in the picture AS OF THIS MOMENT...
Because in Roxy's Salon, when you use the AR mask near a Fazwrench Door, (remember her Dad has a Fazwrench apparently) you can see this note:
Tumblr media
The reason I say this note is written by Cassie's Dad, is that in Roxy's Salon we see so much of exposition about Cassie's past throughout Cassie's favorite areas. And throughout the game it is severely hinted at that the AR mask does display things based on what the wearer wants to see. or based on memories the wearer has.
aka: Monty soda machines turning into Roxy machines... Sun and Moon's Room being tidy in AR cause Cassie was a daycare kid and remembers Sun and Moon being kind and good daycare attendants. Roxy being the only animatronic that appears as Cassie remembers her fully cause she was her favorite. The mask functions as literal nostalgia rose-tinted glasses at times.
There's also the Brazil/Hallucination ending... where Cassie just sees what she wants to.
Sometimes AR does weird stuff for the sake of weird stuff, like floating objects everywhere and enlarged objects, but because Roxy Salon was so relevant to plot details, and explaining how Gregory and Cassie were friends and how she was devastated when he went missing.... Yeah. I'm saying this note was from her Dad.
So he's not in the picture..... right now of this moment.
So Cassie probably heard this message on her home phone when her parent.... parents?? Parent. Her Dad wasn't home, so she went to investigate the Pizzaplex herself.
Now... How did the Mimic get Cassie's number? how did he send a message to the outside world? We already know that he's connected to HELPI. So I'm not surprised that he can send messages from way below the foundation in concrete...
But.... How did he know how to Mimic Gregory effectively.... How did he know to prey upon Cassie's loneliness? How did he know that she would do everything to help him and she would do it if it was Gregory?
Now... I don't think he knew all this... But there are often times where the Mimic preys upon Cassie's loneliness in a very effective way.
And if you look at the mission objective hud... It keeps changing to things like this:
"Don't you want to save Gregory? Try harder!"
"I'm lonely."
He also says things like: "I'm so scared and alone. It's dark down here. Save me Cassie please"
When they meet for the first time, he even says: "You saved me!"
He preys perfectly upon her loneliness and manipulates her from the very start of the game from the moment he speaks till the moment you get HEPI and the mission objective hud starts saying crazy stuff.
Cassie is a very lonely kid. And I wouldn't be surprised if Gregory is her only friend and she feels she owes him for being there for her when no one else was. Roxanne Wolf and Gregory are all she has. Her Dad isn't even there for her. Either left to "get milk" or was killed by Vanny.... but... in her mind her Dad might have "Went missing" as well... All we know is that her Dad is not in the picture currently and Roxy and Gregory are all she's got.
.....How would the Mimic know this? How does he know to prey upon Cassie's loneliness insecurity so expertly?
....How does the Mimic know how to MIMIC GREGORY???
Well....
We know that Gregory was down here. Cause we do find a backpack with his name on it, right outside the door where Mimic is sealed. Which is probably where the Mimic got the Fazbear Walky Talky from in the first place....
But that's not enough evidence.
We just know that Gregory was down here at some point to probably seal the Mimic with Concrete.... Maybe with Vanessa, but that part is unclear.
But... I think Gregory knew the Mimic before this.
With the Mimic being canon, getting a better grasp on Cassie's character and who she is as a character...
I can say definitively My speculations about her being patient 46, and connected to Charlie in some way......... Since Charlie from the Silver Eyes tends to have weird connections and parallels to patient 46....
But my idea that Cassie would be connected to 46 or Charlie in anyway..... Are completely wrong.
But do you know who seems to be connected to Patient 46 and Charlie More now?
Gregory....
And I don't think Gregory being homeless was a fabrication. He just wasn't living in a cardboard box.
He was living in the Pizzaplex....
And you remember.... that one room... In Security Breach... that everyone theorized about but we had no definitive answers?
Tumblr media
Yeah.
The post-it note room.
This room is written with a lot of notes.... some in binary... some in English. Some in drawings.
But... people pieced together, that this room seems to consist of a Robot coming into consciousness and communicating with a second party.... And I think that it's the Mimic.
Because.... when you EXIT this post-it note room.... You can find a trail of post-it notes... Leading to a workbench... with...
A TRANSISTER RADIO THAT CAN BROADCAST OUT FREQUENCIES AND ENDO SCHEMATICS
Tumblr media
We now know that these are definitively about the Mimic And the Mimic Probably stayed in the Post-it note room for some time.
The post it note room leads a trail that takes us directly to these Schematics...
So... The Mimic was in that room for a long while.... Talking to someone.....
Who do I think they were talking to?
Gregory.
We already know that Gregory is homeless, and we find many of his hideouts scattered throughout the Pizzaplex.... and while we don't know if Gregory has any direct connections to the Afton Family other than being a parallel... This is the only thing that fits given the information we know right now.
And we do know that the Mimic is a Learning Adaptive AI... And it might not have killed Gregory at first cause he was reminded of the boy it used to grow up with.
I don't believe Gregory taught the Mimic things maliciously or manipulatively... I really think Gregory found a robot that crawled into this room he was hiding in that copied him...
And if we know Gregory... this isn't even book text... This is in-game Text.... Gregory sees animatronics as cool robots and toys/tools to mess around with. (I'm saying... climbing into a unconscious animatronics stomach hatch is not the first thing I would do when avoiding mall security......) Like it's part of the reason Gregory's first thought was upgrading Freddy to make his night easier.
Gregory views the animatronics as Robots and tools, while Cassie tends to view them more as people/characters.
So once Gregory comes across this creepy endo that copies him and has his own sign language, they write back and forth and he talks to it. He talks about his friends like Cassie probably, and rambles about stuff... Cause Gregory is excited this thing can learn, and he wants to talk to it and teach it.
Are there holes in this theory?
Sure.
Like Gregory's reaction to the Endos in the base game doesn't line up if he's seen the mimic endo before. Nor his reaction to Burntrap in the Afton Ending. "He? What is that thing???"
There's way too much Afton Family and Charlie/Puppet symbolism in the post-it note room to say definitively that this was the case....
But... The post-it note room leading to a trail of Papers where the Mimic Schematics are....
I really do think the Post-it note room is where the Mimic learned a lot of things... And if Gregory was in there teaching him stuff and talking to it, he Was probably learning about Cassie too.
Anyway, that's what I think and wanted to throw it out to the void before Matpat starts swerving all over the DLC.

Honestly? All your evidence against Ruin is very very true, very very sus, and very very convenient for him.
I think the only reason why I want him to be innocent to some degree (either revealed he's still being controlled and not that just being him) is I don't want Moon's paranoia to be validated. That is literally it. If Moon is right to be suspicious, that he was right in doing everything he did with Ruin-
I just really really do not want that paranoia to be justified. That is literally it.
All your evidence is probably right though, Ruin, please be a better actor you have gained the ability to be subtle but that is really not helping you.
The thing is that, Moon feels he was disproven in his paranoia and that he decided to give Ruin leniency.
Which is why Ruin was able to get away from Moon, and ask for dimensional travel.
I have a feeling Ruin put a lot of things in place to assure that he would infiltrate Sun and Moon near perfectly.
Considering the latest MAFS episode (which I feel is very important considering how Daycare Attendant centric it is)
youtube
"Cured" Ruin and Bloodmoon have not met up yet.
And I have a feeling they will very soon. And Bloodmoon was built with the sole purpose of being Ruin's minion. And Bloodmoon hasn't outgrown that purpose. Right now, Bloodmoon has no directive, and is taking orders from Stitchwraith, but once his maker comes back into the table, I feel all bets are off the table.
Also, lets rewind for a bit... What if Moon's earlier paranoia about Ruin is proven true...
THAT would have MASSIVE benefits that we aren't even thinking about. Like at this point, Moon's paranoia proven right would just help them rather then help them.
They'll trust Eclipse
Eclipse will be taken more seriously and less like a madman or feral child that Moon needs to manage.
Eclipse will get to be something else other then a villain or just an inconvenience for once.
THIS WILL NOT HELP MOON'S EGO AT ALL. For those who think Moon would gloat like "ha! I was right!" I don't think it'll be like that. HE'D FEEL BETRAYED and utterly devastated. It's one thing to be suspicious of someone. But to have those suspicions disproven and not being proven and put your trust into them despite all that and then the evil villain you've built in your head (Eclipse) turned out to be right the whole time and you fucked it all up by not listening to the untrustworthy one.
Remember Eclipsev3 was crying when he was captured because he knew it wouldn't matter what he said, no one would ever trust his word against Ruins? Eclipse would be given trust for the first time ever....
And you know what. AFTER ALL THIS TIME. SUN AND MOON DO NOT KNOW ECLIPSE'S BACKSTORY. As far as Sun and Moon know, Eclipse was a killcode that became sentient and started evil shit for no reason. I hope this will open the door for that conversation to be had.
Not to Mention, Evil Sun today told Moon that he should actually LISTEN to Eclipse. Cause if he doesn't, it just means that this universe will die faster.
I am also surprised that none of the characters call Ruin out specifically for lying. As I have caught him lying several times and none of the characters seem to be wise to it.
Eclipse when he was threatening Ruin did not even think to bring up the Magical Barrier he has encountered twice now. He didn't think to bring up how he was made from Arcade machines either.
All Eclipse thought about was his rage, but if he defused Ruin with logic, he could have easily caught him, other then just going "BUT YOU DID IT! WAH"
Ruin contradicts and changes his story so many times in the span of a few seconds and it has been proven in his Interrogation under the Virus he is a chronic lair. Lie detectors don't work. You have to catch him verbally in a contradiction. Which he has Spouted MANY.
So I always hoped that Moon, Solar or Eclipse would point out these purposeful contradictions but No characters do.
RUIN LEGIT SAID ALOUD "I don't know magic."
Okay. Then he said way earlier: "I constructed this magical barrier to trap you"
....... Okay. YOu can copy a spell, but even COPYING a spell itself is KNOWING magic. The mana has to come from SOMEWHERE. He's not pulling it out of his ass!
Eclipse NOR Moon called this out.
Ruin knows that NewMoon is not as experienced in Magic as OldMoon was. (WHICH MOON ADMITS) and Ruin is taking advantage of that.
Not to mention Eclipse’s magic circle is just an exact copy of Old Moon’s magic circle and wasn’t made by someone knowledgeable in magic.
Ruin being scared of Eclipse almost everytime he encounters him is interesting.
BECAUSE HE IS LEGIT THE ONLY ONE WHO IS. ALMOST LIKE HE'S OVERSELLING HIM.
One moment, Ruin will cower over Eclipse and act traumatized by him, but then he talks about plans about making Star-Powered type Nukes (LEGIT. HE DID.) and then gloat over Eclipse...
Not to mention, Eclipse had never tortured Ruin. He threatened him, sure, but he never physically harmed him. He left before he could do so. But Ruin told Moon and Sun that Eclipse physically tortured him for a long time... BUT THAT'S NOT TRUE. Because Eclipse just threatened torture and the moment Ruin mentioned the Creator, Eclipse went off chasing that wild goose.
So the question comes down to motive... Why do all this with Eclipse.
Well, to accelerate the Death of the Universe. Not just ours.
The Tsams universe is not the main universe. But it's a pillar universe. Meaning if it goes down it takes a few others down with it.
RUIN WANTS TO DESTROY MULTIPLE DIMENTIONS.
Why????
Where did Ruin come from?
What is his dimension?
He has a virus in him that makes him subservient to the Creator in his home world. (if not a little unhinged and bound for destruction and amplifying the violent parts of his personality)
What did the Creator of that dimension want?
He wanted to accelerate the death of the universe by star power so he could study it.
........well.
He already did that with his own dimension.
The creator needs more control samples for multiple dimensions rotting.
And why the hell does the Creator have a cure for the Ruin virus when it's beneficial to him in the long term?
Even Sun said he grabbed something he "thought" was a Cure, and Moon seemed unsure if it was a cure in the first place too.
All Ruin said it did was "cure the fog" from his head. Which makes me think that he's less focused on playing games... (like the Monty of Ruin's dimension thought he was a freakshow) so I think that Ruin is just more focused in long term goals... Also I think his goal was always to pretend to be cured. Looking back in how he acted and what he did when he took over last Halloween.
Ruin, He already knew Bloodmoon was rebelling against him. The protocols he put in bloodmoon to be obedient weren't working how he intended. So he made Eclipse with STRICTER protocols to not make the same mistake and to cause chaos among the Sun and Moon duo.
Eclipse is a distraction so that he can RUIN everything.

An alternate dream take of what Eclipse could have done with the Star
I had a pretty weird dream that was spawned on by a bout of "not-feeling-well" (no fever, just general sinus headache and fatigue)
But this dream gave a pretty alternate scenario and what I think they should have done when Eclipse had the star in tsams.
Eclipse basically gained the star, and took over. He wiped Lunar's, Sun and Moon's memories, and kept them as a pets/slaves, along with Solar.
However, Solar never had their memory wiped. My brain didn't give me a reason for this. But as far as I can figure, the most Eclipse reason is that "You're an Eclipse, you remind me so much of myself." Again, it's another case of companionship, and a case of that SOMEONE needs to Acknowledge what Eclipse is doing and look how bad he's being. And who can better understand him then himself? (well, a version of himself)
Solar meanwhile is playing the long game, and is loyal to Eclipse for now...
But Solar slowly was trying to awaken Lunar's memories, make him realize all the abuse and pain he's put him and his "brothers" through. But Lunar's memories never awaken. But Lunar ends up fighting against Eclipse anyway, cause Eclipse was mean, and the alternate scenario Solar was preposing sounded better. So he'll fight for that. Also Solar played with and engaged with Lunar in a way Eclipse never did. So he liked that one better. (like my dream has this image of Lunar and Solar laughing and throwing a goose around while Eclipse is just pissy and annoyed with those two but not doing anything cus they're still loyal to him techinically)
Also, in this preposed dream scenario:
Moon not having memories actually works to his benefit here. Cause he can just rewrite them if this is all he knows. Who's to say "the sun and moon show" is nothing but lies and propaganda? Especially if Eclipse got to Moon before he had a chance to watch that Show first.
Moon thus being the hardest to convince, the most loyal to Eclipse and the major threat once Solar and Lunar start opposing.
Sun found out the truth awhile ago cus Eclipse's power on the star is loosening. As Eclipse weakening from the Star power he's using is still a thing. But Sun's scared to go against Eclipse and doesn't want to lose what little of his brother he feels he has, and is convinced wiping Moons memories was part of Eclipses plan since Sun in this au wouldn't have gotten the message that OG Moon left before Eclipse starts fucking shit up. (Moon losing his memories was still a result of KC wanting to be his own person, and KC is trying to build his own body with the help of the AI with no one knowing he's around. Because he wants to stop his son and get things under control)
I actually think if the show dynamic changed like this for a month, it would have been a fresh take, especially since in multiple realities, we see that Eclipse likes to keep Sun or Moon (sometimes both) as pets or servants. Even Evil Lunar does a similar thing with his Eclipse.
So yeah. Thanks sick-haze brain for brining me this.

The stunning Revelation that Monty might just straight up hate Solar because he's an Eclipse isn't too far out of left field.
This was the same guy who killed a good Stitchwraith in another dimension just cause he was a Stitchwraith.
Monty has threatened Solar's life once, and the whole Podcast he made a point of "what does it feel like traumatizing your family every time they look at you"
Which, we know, is absolutely not true.
So yeah, sounded like Monty was heavily projecting. He threw it off as a joke, but then he circled back when Solar had to kill his Monty for self-defense like "when are you going to do that to me"
I'm not complaining. I think we're in need of character dynamics of characters on the same side who absolutely hate eachother.
But I think I'm just saying... if Eclipse is building toward a redemption arc, we need to watch out for Monty.

Something else that bothers me about the latest Sun and Moon show episode.
Bloodmoon has killed countless homeless people and will continue to do so.
It's where he gets his supply of blood.
Killcode, by not fighting back, by not choosing to live, despite the scarifies people could make for him to have this life....
Killcode condemned the homeless people he cared about to death.
If he didn't want to live for himself anymore.
He didn't even live for the people he cared about either.

Today I thank Help Wanted 2 for confirming all my Glamrock Chica headcanons.
Friendly, cute but that just hides her ravenous appetite beneath the serface. And she gets angry and pushy when not given what she wants
The way she hovers over employees for food, even before her shattering is much like an addict.
The "I need to be fit" coupled with the "IM STARVING"
Actually parallels a bit of eating disorder with metaphors for real life addiction.
Much like all the glamrocks draw parallels to the "Glamrock life"
Roxy being so desperate for attention to the point of getting angry if it's not about her or if your not paying attention to her.
Monty the jerk of the band. Trashing hotel rooms, not showing up to practices and being hard to work with by staff/roadie standards.
(Glamrock Freddy the one who is genuinely in it for his friends and maybe the one who founded the band with his friends. Just cares they're having a good time together)
Now they give us Glamrock Chica which completes the Glamrock flaws. Addiction.
What makes it worse is she is a robot.
She can't eat food.
She can't taste it.
It's merely a compulsion her programing drives her to as a robot meant to advertise food and fitness.
Leading to this conflict nearly borderline personality she shows the player.
All my headcanons for her were confirmed in the worst way and I love her for that.
