Crushvember 16 - Auriia the Lucario
A little unorthodox for this one, but dammit, I freakin’ love @pencil-rebagels‘s Lucario OC.  Check out Auriia’s own ask blog at @pencil-arts!  It’s great.
Auriia is strong, adorable, and I want to hug her... from behind... or with pillow protection... don’t want to get hurt by that spike.
But seriously, it’s all the things I already love in a Lucario, except in an extremely adorable playful and fiesty body.  How can anyone not like Auriia?
Give the blog a look and ask her some questions, has some absolute amazing art too.

Crushvember 21 - Toriel
Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love goat mom?
But seriously, I think a side effect of getting older (and possibly having a child) is it’s made me quite fond of motherly characters, and Toriel is definitely no exception.  She’s warm, caring, friendly, loving, and definitely will kick Asgore’s ass (if you get the good ending that is).
If there’s any negative that Undertale has, it’s the fact I can’t just decide to live with Toriel forever at the start of the game.  That sounds perfectly lovely to me.

Crushvember 14 - Fidget
I know I can’t be the only person who played Dust and fell in love with this adorable smart mouthed goof of a nimbat.
She’s got by far the best dialog in the game, an adorable yet unique design, and a cute voice at that.
I can’t think of any reason not to like Fidget... outside the fact she is tiny... but honestly, I think that just adds to her adorableness.

Crushvember 27 - Tiffany Lords
Tiffany Lords from Rival Schools/Project Justice is beautiful, WONDY-FUL, EXCITING!!!
Okay, I know stereotypes are offensive, but MAN, I won’t lie to you guys, I FUCKING LOVE stereotypes of white Americans in Japanese media, and Tiffany Lords is a prime example of this.  She’s blonde, busty, speaks poor Japanese, speaks equally poor Engrish (“WONDY-FUL”), she wears America of her clothers, doesn’t take things seriously, and just a complete joy in the games she appears in.  I mean for God’s sake, in Project Justice she doesn’t do a walk around menacing like other fighting game characters, NO, she gleefully skips about the playing field without a God damn care in the world and I frikkin’ love it, and I love her for being like this.
I also like that she has a cartoon-ish power up punch where she spins her arm around repeatedly to gain power before letting it out.  I love it!
Tiffany may be a stereotype and a bad inspiration for women everywhere, but dammit, she is a frikkin’ fun character, and I love her for it.
Now I’m going to go eat 15 hamburgers while playing an American flag flies behind me and a bald eagle lands on my shoulder... AMERICA!

Crushvember 30 - Son Son
I’ve been a fan of the stories of the Monkey King, Sun Wukong, for quite sometime.  These are not just interesting and fun stories to read, but they’ve had a mass influence on video games and manga over the years.  Examples would be Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball and Capcom’s Son Son.
However when Capcom decided to revisit there Son Son character for Marvel vs. Capcom 2, they decided to put a spin on the character, and turn Son Son from a he to a she.  Well... technically the Son Son in MvC2 is supposed to be the grand daughter of the original Son Son, thus the gender difference.  Granted no American media explained this, I only found this out by getting a Japanese artbook that referred to her as Son Son III.
Son Son is an adorable take on the original Monkey King character, she childish, naive, cute, hilarious, and hyper active.  She had many moves that literally made me laugh when I first played MvC, like the one where she literally runs up the borders of the screen like a damn cartoon character, or the move where she turns her foe into a peach just so she could devour them (doing so by spitting out a trademark Capcom POW).
She is such a fun character, I’d love to see Capcom bring her back someday.
And with that ends, Crushvember.
I’d really like to do this again some time, as there are many characters I love that I never got around to using in this like Deedlit from Record of Lodoss Wars, Ochaka from My Hero Acadamia, Tifa from Final Fantasy 7, Mirage from Aladdin and many many more.
So maybe some month in the future I’ll do this again with many of the characters I didn’t get to draw this month... but no promises okay.

Crushvember 13 - Peg Pete
Goof Troop was a show that I honestly didn’t care much for... but man, did I find Pete’s wife Peg extremely hot.  She had a feisty personality and a body to match.  PJ’s mom had it going on.
She was a great character, she was the only person who seemed to be able to put Pete in his place, and man... her hips... *ahem*
It’s a real pity she wasn’t in the following Goofy movies, it would’ve been nice to seen what she would’ve looked like on a movie animation budget.

Crushvember 19 - Meowkie
While she first appeared in the Mappy games, I didn’t like Meowkie until she appeared in the Namco mock dating game, Namco High.  Meowkie is so adorable and wants to be a strong authoritative hall monitor, but she’s shy and terribly afraid of getting angry.   The latter being a fear I have as well.
But yeah, I think she is an absolute cutie.  I really should stream Namco High again some day.

Crushvember 29 - Arina Makihara
One of my favorite games on the old Neo Geo is Waku Waku 7, a bizarre anime parody fighting game, and my favorite character in it is Arina Makihara.
The girl is strong willed, fiesty, and fun, but under her tough exterior she simply wants to fall in love, so much so she pretty much pulls a Bulma and searches out the 7 Waku Waku Balls so that she can wish for the perfect lover (yes, the whole game surrounds around a parody of the Dragon Balls).  Needless to say things don’t work out like she would hope.
Regardless I’ve always had a fondness for Arina since I first played this game, and still do.  Thus why she is here.
Oh man, guys... just one more to go.

Crushvember 22 - Lum Invader
Lum from Urusei Yatsura was my first real anime waifu. Sure I saw other animes before it, and they had girls I thought were attractive, but none of them I felt were on the level of crush...
Then I saw Urusei Yatsura and I instantly wanted to be Lum’s “darling”.  She’s pretty, she’s fiesty, she’s electrifying, she’s adorable, sexy, and so many other words I could throw up here.  Lum was great, and while my tastes have changed over the years, I still think Lum is ultra adorable.
I’d love to give her a hug, even if it would result in electrocution.

Crushvember 9 - Applejack
If you’ve been on this tumblr for a while, you should be well aware that I love this filly.  Honesty, hard working, friendly, cares deeply for family, a Southern Accent, these are qualities AJ has that I absolutely love.  Also apples are great.
In fact the only negatives Applejack has is her extreme stubbornness and the fact that she’s a horse.  That second one is a big one, but hey, I guess no one is perfect.

Crushvember 10 - Felicia
My favorite Darkstalker, Felicia, has always been a personal fave.  I mean there was a time where I REALLY REALLY LIKED HER to a degree I almost find cringe worthy now.
Regardless I do still have a fondness for the flexible catgirl, who introduced many people (myself included) to the catgirl trope made popular in anime.  She’s cute, fun, and super adorable.  It’s hard not to like this kitty.  At least I find it hard.

Crushvember 23 - Lt. M’Ress
Even before I got into anime I seemed to like catgirls.  I mean, there was the aforementioned Cleo from Dic’s Heathcliff cartoon and then there was Lt. M’Ress when I watched reruns of Filmation’s Star Trek cartoon on Sci-Fi channel.
She didn’t get as much development as I felt she deserved in said cartoon, especially considering the elaborate design they gave her, but what personality they gave her seemed fun.  She was playful yet serious and possibly got it on with Scotty in an episode.  I also liked the purring she’d do in her voice.
Supposedly she’s appeared in Star Trek novels and comics, but I doubt I’d ever get around to seeing or reading those.  It is nice she’s not forgotten though.
I wonder if any other girls from Filmation will appear in this list... hrmmm... doubt it.

Crushvember 24 - Reika
Reika from the game Time Gal is a cute time traveler from the future in search of a bad guy who stole a time machine.  Her game is pretty much the anime equivalent to Dragon’s Lair, ie the game uses animated Laserdisc footage where you play the game merely by hitting the right buttons at the right time.
Our hero Reika doesn’t exactly seem to be the brightest bulb, but she is energetic, bubbly, and cute.  She seems like a fun person to hang out with, plus she can travel through time, which is pretty cool... if you can ignore how much damage to the space time continuum she does in this game.
If there’s anything this game has over Dragon’s Lair, it’s the death scenes, which are mostly hilarious as Reika goes chibi while exaggerated things happen to her, from being stomped on by a dinosaur to a panther biting her in the butt.
Regardless Reika is a character I’ve always found to be adorable and I like her completely impractical 80s future outfit, even if it’s pretty obvious her creators took queues from The Dirty Pair

Crushvember 28 - Penny Pillar
Penny Pillar is from the Pebbles and Bamm Bamm Show, a spinoff to The Flintstones.  I always thought she was adorable, great outfit, a cute kinda’ scratchy voice, and had a fun “I don’t take shit” personality.  I didn’t get why she got jokes made at her weight, I think she looks healthy and fine the way she is.

Crushvember 25 - Ororo Munroe aka Storm
When I was a kid and saw the 90s X-Men cartoon, all my friends were in love with Rogue, but I wasn't, instead I was completely fascinated by Storm.
I thought she was a far more interesting both visually and personality wise.
I think I also liked the fact that they gave her a legit fear, ie claustrophobia. It was nice seeing that such a powerful character could have a perfectly human and understandable fear.
  Also her voice was AMAZING

Crushvember 11 - Captain Syrup
The best thing about Wario Land: Shake It on the Wii, was the vastly improved redesign Captain Syrup got.  In my opinion it’s the best redesign in Nintendo history.
Regardless this pirate queen is as beautiful as she is greedy and a perfect rival for Wario.  I really don’t understand why Nintendo doesn’t use her more.
