I really adore the depiction of the differences between og Jttw lore and lmk's lore as told from the seer's perspective it is really nice to see a fic of the isekaish nature acknowledge potential differences and when they were rambling I had yet another oh no they're just like me fr 11/10 will read again

It was fun writing about it. Honest to god, I was obsessed with Macaque's character when I was in high school. The amount of content I consumed of him was ungodly.

It's a bit fun (and weird) to acknowledge that the story won't be 100% accurate to JTTW. It forces me to either bs the blanks or wait out for the full story. I've gotta figure out how the story went in LMK because it doesn't follow JTTW. Like who was the demon that Guan Yin had to flush out? It wasn't Red Son, that's for sure.

Some demons in LMK never appeared in JTTW. Spider Queen, for example. She doesn't actually exist in the original JTTW text. That's a whole ass thing only for LMK. The Scorpion Queen, however, is definitely based off the Scorpion Demoness that the group encounters in the Kingdom of Woman arc.

Dealing with the difference is so fun but DAMN DO I KIND OF HATE IT LMAO

your tighnari oneshot is positively scrumptious, i adore the depiction of the relationship and the way it was told as like individual moments loosely connected throughout the course of their relationship it was really fun and cute and just over all an absolutely delectable oneshot

how bc of his origins as a being, he sees humans as inferior. but also everything to humans he deems to make them weaker, he must be yearning for those too (to belong, to be able to feel the emotions people write about and so on) so having allowing someone to be around him, but perhaps realizing too late that the person is in fact, as much of a shell of a person as he is, that the very human he wished to witness, they lack a part of it too.

it'd surely be a shock for him. well good news scara, some things you were insecure about are the very things that makes humans human but also bad news... bc, well... no need to explain lmao

its still early for me rn so i dont have much to offer further on this dynamic ;-; i think i need to divert my focus more on work/studies and less on the gremlin for a while.

but i think he would weirdly find comfort in mc, for making him accept the fact that humans can be a little lke him (though not to the same level of intensity) it'd be too late by the time he would come to realize and before he knows, he would be a puppet again, wrapped around a finger, he would refuse to yield but secretly harbor that weak spot. you've been with him for so long now, know so much, more than anyone else in his life (besides ei and yae) ever did. how can you understand so much of this, so much of him and still... go on, how do you keep living knowing your days are numbered? it'd slowly grow into something fascinating to observe for him, and soon enough with the constant observations, comes the attachment, the growing used to your presence. it's no longer just him, he is not the only flawed one, deeply screwed, a shell desperate for a true name so he gives himself one, what does he enjoy truly, what does he like and dislike? so much he had to experiment to discover the simplest of things and would you look at that, maybe he is not, never was, alone in this...

Thinking about Jason Todd and the happenstance of the pay what you want bookstore that opens only a block away from the infamous crime alley of Gotham. The store is so very out of place, it looks clean for starters and well kept. He can't seem to enter it either, every time he tries he fails. Both as red hood and Jason Todd. At least the kids are getting something to read now, he's noticed that some of the street kids would use the books for kindling but within a week they would be given coats and mittens and a wood along with the book to avoid such. It is odd and strange.

It isn't until a month or so of trying and failing to get in into the store is he confronted by you, strange is his first thought. Accented tone he thinks he could maybe place but fails to; he stares as your words barely register in his mind.

"I thought it was a ghoul trying to enter my shop, but you seem to alive for that." The words are almost soft and delicate in a way, curious as to what stands before them. Jason finds himself immobile as they step further out into the light. The scaring on their face is so patterned and precise it must have been carved on purpose, the sigil one he cannot name. "Well? Are you here for books or what?"

Comment: This was such a good fic, I really enjoyed reading about Sirius and Remus getting reacquainted with each other, and there was just all the angst and unresolved feelings and pining and horniness that you want in a good exes-to-lovers fic!!
