I am proud to introduce my CINDER TATTOO!!!
This is something I've wanted since I was first introduced to Cinder around the age of 12, and I could not be more happy with it.
It's based on the opening line of the book, "The screw through Cinder's ankle had rusted, the engraved crossmarks worn to a mangled circle." The tattoo is on the inside of my left ankle in the same spot as that screw, but it's a cybernetic crescent moon for obvious reasons :) It almost looks Death Star-ish if you just glance over it, which I love!
Cinder & the whole TLC series mean so much to me, she has been a huge influence on who I am as a person and I am honored to have a representation of her on my body.

Little ILW Crack Fic
Basis: Jocelyn kills a spider. Elvira holds a funeral.
Pairings: Abel x MC (mine is called Elvira!)
Warnings: non except spiders, the killing of an insect, and a funeral. it's not a serious fic though.
Characters: Abel, MC and Lincoln all have bigger parts, Jocelyn has some lines, and the rest of the gang are there but have no lines.
Word count: 741
A/N: This is not meant to be serious, at all. I wrote this a while ago and then the question about who kills spiders in the relationship got brought up and I'm posting this, no matter how silly.
It’s quiet…
Quaint..
Uneventful.
All silent, all serene as the gang sits in Connor’s cabin– a brief reprieve, the time to sit back and take a breath.
But nothing lasts forever…
No…
It never does.
“Jocelyn! You’ve got a spider on you!” Elvira exclaims suddenly, a tad too excitedly.
“Ugh!”
Jocelyn’s face twists. Elvira screams.
Time seems to slooooooooooooooow…
“No!” Abel’s scream joins Elvira’s, gesturing desperately at Jocelyn as her hand drops in a fatal arc, an anguished cry passing Elvira’s lips as her hand shoots out to stop her, to no avail–
THWACK!
“Nooooo!”
Abel opens his arms to his inconsolable partner, nestling her into his embrace as she wails louder than a siren’s song, the two cringing in tandem as Jocelyn’s hand meets her mark.
…Jocelyn turns around.
“Hey guys! I got the spider!”
Elvira only wails harder. Abel releases her, hands forming frantic crossmarks at Jocelyn... Elvira wails some more.
“...What?"

Abel’s face is sheepish as he approaches his former best friend, hands braced before him like a little pangolin’s.
“Lincoln. Can you host a spider funeral for my girlfriend?”
“...A what?”
……
……
“Hello, everyone…” Lincoln starts, hands outstretched as he begins his– rather unconventional– eulogy, the crowd of Jocelyn, Amalia, Connor, Devon, and friends– and even Noah– looking on at him with varying looks of incredulity and intrigue. The front row is a line of frowns, Amalia’s sympathetic– but confused, Noah’s an authentic melancholy, Elvira-- the very portrait of devastation--, and Abel, nuzzled sympathetically beside her.
The atmosphere is dark and depressive, if not a little bewildered, no light but for the candles lit in memory of the deeply deceased arachnid, Noah’s ghostly eyes devoid of all light as he observes the rather irregular ceremony with a sorrowful air.
As Lincoln clears his throat, Abel’s sympathetic frown mouths “thank you”, one scarred thumb raising up in affirmation.
Without further ado...
Lincoln begins.
“Welcome to the celebration of life of this spider—” Lincoln gestures towards the spider, situated near a make-shift tombstone.
“Mr Spider!” Elvira interjects from the crowd.
“...Spider was his son. This is Mr Spider.” She corrects, fiddling with her hands self-consciously as all eyes fall on her.
Lincoln stares for a while, before breaking back into his speech.
“Mr Spider, we may not have known you well, we may not have known you long, but– but…”
Lincoln’s eyes widen, nonsensical sounds escaping his agape mouth that can’t quite decide whether to stay shut or open, a puzzled look colouring his features as he tips his head this way and that, hands tipping as words fail him.
After that startlingly convincing goldfish impression, Lincoln starts anew.
”You had… Eight legs.” He clenches his fists, a shaky exhale masking his laughter.
“...That’s… A lot of legs.”
“It is! So many legs! ” Elvira sobs against Abel.
Seemingly overcome by his own words, Lincoln slams a fist to his heart. There’s an excessive nod to his head as his eyes meet Abel’s... Abel, who offers him an appraising nod, before returning to mutter soothing words into Elvira’s hair, stroking his fingers through.
The procession proceeds much the same, a mixture of very confused bystanders and sympathetic mourners honouring Mr Spider’s name with mixed sincerity, and when it’s over, Elvira has one last request.
“Lincoln… Give him a goodbye kiss.” She says, twiddling the flowers she’d picked for the spider in her hands.
“A what?”
“A goodbye kiss. To send him off.”
He waits for the punchline. For her to say it’s all a big joke, and he can stop now.
…It never comes.
Abel stares pointedly and pleadingly at him, unbeknownst to Elvira, who is still sobbing profusely beside him.
Lincoln sighs, relenting, bringing his lips in for a stage kiss.
When he's done, Elvira approaches him.
“Th-that was s-such a.. beautiful speech..” She sniffles as she sidles forwards, hugging closer to Abel, who has returned to muttering reassurances against her hair.
The gang share incredulous glances as she places down her flowers with a broken sob, before Abel stalks off with her still nestled into his side, his continuous murmuring a soothing stream of thoughts cascading against her hair and all the way out to the door, cuddling her closer as he promises her ice cream, sweet things, and all things nice.
A final question leaves Elvira's lips before the door swings shut, shutting out all sound.
"...Abel? Do you think spiders have ghosts?"

Sure, the most frequent times he'd travel to other worlds had been on other, much more urgent business than sightseeing; but that doesn't mean he didn't notice. If anything he noticed more than others. He'd never seen proper grass or flowers before his brief visit to Radiant Gardens, and it'd been impossible to overlook them. Was this really how they lived everyday? In comparison to his own world, it struck a sense of envy. It almost pained him that it had to be so brief, or the idea it had to just be a visit at all. He couldn't be sure why - he should be grateful that he'd been provided the perfect grounds for honing his strength, that every day could be spent sharpening himself into the perfect weapon - he was. But that emotion was still there. For all his work and effort, these were the people who got things like this. He'd learned there that they didn't deserve anything close to what they got. They'd see just how much good their gardens would do for them when Xehanort's plans came to fruition.

"Well, I wouldn't really be alive if it wasn't for Ventus, now would I? I don't exist without him. Now, if that's the good or bad thing we're debating.. it'd probably be better, yeah."
That's all he mentions out loud, but the hypothetical what if creeps into his mind. What if he had managed to be alive without him? Being part of him was something his entire identity had been built upon. Something he'd resented, envied, wishing that he really was him and had that life instead of the unfortunate existence he'd been cast away with. The thought of not knowing him is almost disquieting. Part of him wonders if he'd like not having that standard to live up to, but he doesn't give that idea much time to further evolve. He just can't imagine a life without him - and he wants to know him even as he is now. There's no answer to the internal thoughts he's strung together other than the sense of unease.

The propaganda war between the blues and the reds; Intel compared AMD processors to snake oil
Intel's controversial ad campaign compares AMD's Ryzen 7000 laptop processors to the deceptive tactics of snake oil salesmen.

In the first of these facts, Intel states that AMD used an old processor architecture in its Ryzen 7000 series processors.
The chip that Team Blue used as an example is the Ryzen 7520U based on the 6nm Zen 2 architecture from 2019. This chip also uses RDNA 2 graphics architecture.
Although there is no doubt that AMD's new nomenclature for laptop processors is confusing, Intel's own naming method, in which chips with similar names use different architectures, is not so defensible. While Core processors are based on Raptor Lake architecture, Core Ultra processors use Meteor Lake architecture.
AMD divides its Ryzen 7000 processor series as follows; Note that the third number in the number of each series indicates the architecture used in that series:
Mendocino (Ryzen 7020 series) - everyday computing
Barcelo-R (Ryzen 7030 series) - lightweight mainstream computing
Rembrandt-R (Rysen 7035 series) - Lightweight premium computing
Phoenix Point (Ryzen 7040 series) - professional computing
Dragon Range (Ryzen 7045 series) - professional gaming and content creation
Below is how Intel's first generation Core (Ultra) processors are divided:
Raptor Lake Refresh (Core 120U)
Meteor Lake (Core Ultra 125U)
In continuation of the first fact, Intel compares the Ryzen 5 7520U processor from the Mendocino series of the competing company with its Core I5-1335U processor from the Raptor Lake series; Intel's announced statistics show that this model is 83% more efficient than the AMD competitor. The Mendocino series of processors are designed for low-end laptops with a price of less than US$500.

All the comparisons shown by Intel show the superiority of this company's processors over all AMD products; However, Intel's statistics are based on the overall Crossmark score, which cannot represent the performance of these processors in real scenarios.
In contrast, AMD's Zen 4 and Zen 4C hybrid chips use an ISA (instruction set); Therefore, Intel has a weak point in this field and their statements are a kind of self-inflicted flower.
On the other hand, Intel has not mentioned anything about pricing or performance, both of which affect the price of the laptop . Intel's new ad campaign is more reminiscent of Intel's real-world performance slides from 2020, which turned out to be full of misleading benchmarks to make AMD's desktop CPUs underperform their own products.
In the end, it must be accepted that regardless of any generalizations and advertising usages, the way processors are named by both AMD and Intel companies is not defined. However, AMD is using orange labels instead of the usual gray labels to help identify laptops that use processors based on the Zen 4 architecture

De Rijksoverheid investeert in grootschalige woningbouwlocaties, om de bouw van woningen te stimuleren, maar ook een gezonde leefomgeving te realiseren. Hiervoor is er onder andere het Gebiedsbudget. Voor de ontwikkeling van de spoorzone CrossMark met 't Zoet heeft Breda bij het Ministerie van BZK een beroep gedaan op dit budget. Breda krijgt nu € 27,1 miljoen van het Rijk. Met dit geld investeert de gemeente onder andere in kadeherstel, de aanleg van een park op het Haveneiland, verwerving en saneringen van gronden in het gebied, de inrichting van de openbare ruimtes in 't Zoet het watersysteem met onder andere stadsgrienden.
In het najaar van 2022 kreeg Breda ook al een bijdrage van het Rijk van al € 49,7 miljoen voor 't Zoet vanuit het Mobiliteitsfonds. Dat was voor de realisatie van goede ontsluiting van de nieuwe woningen op 't Zoet. Die bijdrage was in het kader van de zogenaamde 'versnellingsafspraken grootschalige woningbouwlocaties'.
Wethouder Daan Quaars: "Dit is enorm goed nieuws voor Breda. Met 't Zoet en CrossMark wordt Breda straks een nog mooiere stad. We bouwen om ervoor te zorgen dat iedere Bredanaar hier gezond en met plezier kan leven, ook in de toekomst. 't Zoet wordt een plek die niet alleen voor Breda, maar ook voor de regio en de provincie van betekenis is. Ik vind het gaaf dat het Rijk dit ook ziet, en dat deze ontwikkeling nu weer een stap dichterbij is! Samen met de bijdrage die we vorig jaar al kregen voor de ontsluiting van 't Zoet, kunnen we nu met dit geld volop investeren in een groene en duurzame buitenruimte in het gebied. Zeker omdat ook onze gemeenteraad super enthousiast is over de plannen voor het gebied. Zij stelden 22 juni jl. het Toekomstperspectief voor 't Zoet vast."
Gebiedsbudget: ruimtelijke kwaliteit en toekomstwaarde
Voor woningbouwprojecten in 17 zogenaamde 'NOVEX grootschalige woningbouwlocaties' krijgen 25 gemeenten een bijdrage uit het gebiedsbudget. Hiermee kunnen gemeenten publieke tekorten bij de gebiedsontwikkeling (deels) afdekken. Voor de realisatie van nieuwe woningbouw is 475 miljoen euro beschikbaar gesteld. De spoorzone-ontwikkeling Breda (CrossMark en 't Zoet) is samen met de spoorzone-ontwikkelingen in Tilburg en Den Bosch door het Rijk aangemerkt als een van de 17 grootschalige NOVEX-woningbouwlocaties.
Het Gebiedsbudget is bedoeld voor maatregelen die nodig zijn voor de inrichting van aantrekkelijke woonwijken op deze 17 grootschalige NOVEX-woningbouwlocaties. Het gaat hier om maatregelen die aantoonbaar bijdragen aan de ruimtelijke kwaliteit en de toekomstwaarde van die woningbouwlocaties. Denk daarbij aan herinrichting van openbare ruimtes (bijv. parken, pleinen), verwerven, verplaatsen van hindervormende activiteiten en duurzaamheidsmaatregelen (biodiversiteit, recreatief groen en klimaatadaptatie).
Per gehonoreerd project is de Rijksbijdrage maximaal 50 procent. Verder moet minimaal de helft van de geplande woningbouw binnen het betaalbare segment vallen.
Meerdere locaties
Het Bredase voorstel gaat over meerdere locaties, zowel kleine als grote. Opgeteld gaat het om ongeveer 2.900 woningen voor 2030. Hierin zit de eerste realisatiefase van 't Zoet, waarin ook gebouwd wordt aan langgerekte water- en groenstroken. Dit watersysteem is gericht op de Grote Kerk en draagt bij om het gebied en andere delen van de stad klimaatadaptief te maken en de natuurwaarden in de stad te versterken.
Na 2030 groeit 't Zoet verder door, en streeft Breda naar een aantal van ongeveer 5.000 woningen in CrossMark als totaal. Naast deze grote woonopgave worden werklocaties en diverse voorzieningen voor onderwijs, sport, cultuur en recreatie gepland.
Over 't Zoet
In 2021 kochten de gemeente Breda en de provincie Noord-Brabant samen het voormalig CSM-terrein. Hier stond voorheen een suikerfabriek. De herontwikkeling is een grootschalige en complexe opgave, waarin Breda samenwerkt met de provincie Noord-Brabant. 't Zoet moet gaan bijdragen aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de spoorzone en het internationaal knooppunt Breda.
