Thoughts on the “200″ Commentary

I’m watching the AJ Cook & Erica Messer commentary of “200″ right now. These are my thoughts:

* It’s REALLY ANNOYING that their voices are so quiet. The volume has to be turned up so high that the explosions, bangs, shouts, gunshots, etc., of the episode are excruciatingly loud just so I can hear AJ. Sometimes AJ and Erica truly MUMBLE. * “Jane, we love Jane!” and “Hashtag Willifer!” vastly decrease the impact of the “Yay”s for Emily/Paget. Sadly. I mean, AJ doesn’t ever say “Hashtag Jemily!” Oh, and then there are AJ’s comments on what’s-his-name’s good looks. (I literally don’t even know his name, because I’m a lesbian, and all men are the same/irrelevant to me, tbh.)

* ALTHOUGH... Am I hearing things, or does AJ actually say “Goosebumps...” the first time Emily appears on screen?! (Is it actually Erica?)

* When Emily comes on screen, in her high-up office overlooking London’s Interpol office, Erica comments on how impressive it is that she’s in charge of all that, and AJ says, “Queen B!” Cute!

* During THE scene, when JJ hallucinates that Emily’s rushing in to save her and caressing her face, ERICA IS BLABBING ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE. UGGGHHHH. Just stop talking!!! Once it’s over, AJ says “I loved shooting that scene with Paget,” and talks about how hard it was for Paget because she felt so bad to see AJ so tortured.

* AJ on the jet scene with Paget: “I loved recalling this moment; it just shows the relationship between the two...” (then something else mumbled that I can’t hear?)

* JJ says to Emily, “Or you could get another tattoo,” and AJ says in such a teasing voice, “Another... that means she has one already...hehe...what could it be?” POINTS FOR AJ, because that’s a Jemily moment I didn’t notice until she pointed it out!! It never occurred to me that JJ saying “another” tattoo obviously means she knows Emily already has one and has probably seen it, and it’s probably somewhere usually covered by clothing, soooo... infer what you will. :D GO AJ GO. * Oh, Erica. Erica talks about how she likes the flashback-to-JJ-and-Emily-on-the-jet scene because “All we saw when Paget left was [JJ] meeting [Emily] in Paris, and we never talked about this scene, we never presumed that, we thought [JJ and Emily] had made a deal to meet on that street corner in Paris. So it’s nice to show that this happened.” Um, nooo? The whole Jemily fandom, thank you, knew that JJ and Emily didn’t just make some random deal to meet on a street corner for a 30-second exchange with an envelope....we knew that there was so much more to it than that. Like a solid week of sex.

* After shooting this ep, AJ sent a photo of herself from this ep to her agent, saying, “Um, I have to do an action movie. NOW.” How freakin cute is that.

* AJ’s thoughts on JJ and Emily battling Hastings on the roof: “Girl power! Charlie’s Angels style, except much more bad-ass. No stilettos involved. We had our flats!” DOES SHE KNOW the stereotype about lesbians and their sensible shoes??

* Regarding the scene in which JJ starts to fall off the roof and Emily saves her: “I love this move. [...] Paget was freaking out; she was so nervous.” But the scene was much more physically dangerous for AJ than Paget, so was Paget “freaking out” on AJ’s behalf, the way she had a hard time shooting the other scene because she couldn’t take seeing AJ so tortured? That’s so sweet.

* When JJ says “No more lies,” AJ laughs, “JJ the pathological liar...everything’s been a lie up until now!” HMMM.
