Hi there! Aww, thank you so much for this. I really do appreciate it! I was going to wait to respond to you until I'd gotten through at least some of the other Asks/Anons in my inbox, but your message came in just when I received this comment on my blog (on this post):
I'm sure this person was just doing a drive-by and has never actually read anything else I've written, but I genuinely felt and feel a bit upset by this comment, so I'd like to address it.
One thing I have mentioned many times on my blog is that I more than welcome people to disagree with me. I've gotten Anons of every stripe and color, and I've never felt the desire to not publish or not engage with people who do not share my opinions. So I am actually sad for this person, that they decided not to do that. I'm perplexed that they saw a post they did not agree with, and rather than engaging in a civilized way--or just scrolling on by and saying nothing, which they absolutely could have done--decided to leave that comment instead.
As an autistic adult (diagnosed as a child), I have spent the majority of my life feeling like I need to "fix" myself, like I could never be accepted or have friends--or simply exist as a person in the world--because of who I am. This feeling that something is so inherently lacking from the very core of me that it automatically makes me "the other"--different. Not human. Not the kind of human that counts, anyway.
So to the person who left the comment above: I could easily repeat your words back to you. That there must be something deeply wrong with you as a person to think it is acceptable to say something like that to a complete stranger. But what I will say instead is that I hope you never know what it's like to feel that broken. I hope no one ever throws the concept of therapy at you as an insult, a weapon to tear you down disguised as benevolence. And I hope you know that I realize your ultimate purpose is to shut me up, because you don't want to hear what I have to say. I'm just sorry to disappoint you, because I'm not going anywhere.

Hey, I just want to clarify. About Lyrica and Virginia (Ginny), you did say that they were the rl couple, but then Lyrica's agency gave her an ultimatum about her and Ginny's relationship. Was it real? And another thing, they said that they fight because of a guy, Ginny's ex. When for all we know, Lyrica has already had a bf since back then before Runaways. So why will she be seeing Ginny's ex like last 2018(?) Or was it just a cover so that Ginny's and Lyrica's relationship won't be out? I just miss their friendship. It's like Emma Myers and Jenna Ortega friendships while they were still shooting the series.

I just need everyone to know that avatrice is, in my opinion, one of the best slowburns ever and is one of the first times that I feel like a queer storyline hasn't been rushed or forced or anything ....... also if I think about how amazing their story/the show is for too long I actually start happy crying because I've never been truly this invested in a show in this way and for these reasons ..... idk but I love them and the show so much I just need to tell everyone about it constantly

I really think that wenclair is the she fell first but she fell harder trope x100 because Enid definitely falls first but because of how wednesday is she just sorta buries it down and deals with it but then when wednesday falls she's got it real bad and, because of how she is, can't cope with her feelings and can't tell Enid so it takes Enid a while but she does finally notice that her roommate can't look her in the eye without being (at least Wednesdays version of) flustered and that Wednesdays threats on her life don't hold any sort of actual malice anymore so despite wednesday falling harder Enid makes the first move after a lot of pining on both sides
I'm not sure if that actually makes any sense but iykyk

Chess is easy. Pawns and the King move with one turn in every direction. Bishops move sideways as much as they want. Rooks move up ,down ,left and right , Horsey's move like a candy cane and the Queen does whatever she wants. Technically you win the game by taking the King. Realistically you win the game by talking so much the opposing players just starts screaming shut up shut up and flips the board.
this is... the most comprehensible explanation of chess that anybody’s ever bothered to give me, i think. i enjoy that it shares the same victory method as catan and monopoly 😌💕

I hated the new Sara suit at first but when I heard that Caity specifically requested it because it helps her move better and keeps her safer I grew to love it. Yes my Queen be comfortable!
And just like that, I made my peace with the new White Canary suit.
