I'm ngl I've tried quite a few times to get into critical role campaign 2, but I keep losing interest bc I specifically started listening for Cad, who won't show up until like episode 24 (I think). And episodes are like 4 hours long. It's genuinely going to take 4 full days of listening.

I’d like to think that Matt didn’t plan for Dancer to be alive or FCG to be an awakened Aeormaton. He just looked at Sam deciding to casually spill FCG’s tragic memories in the early episodes (Was it during the game of “what the fuck is up with that?” or was it brought up even more casually, I don’t remember) and thought “Fuck you, you’re getting a buckwild backstory reveal whether you want it or not” 

Objectively I know this is not what happened as Matt has literally stated that the awakening of Devexian in campaign 2 is what brought the warforged as a playable race to their world. I just think it’s funny to believe that’s what happened. If it sparks the serotonin, I’m just gonna let it.
