Tinkaton line in Galar

Motions to completely ban the Tinkaton line in Galar were not well supported, however the laws surrounding them are very strict. 

Trainers must have a specific license to have one, as well as insurance for any damage they may cause. When entering the region (or receiving them via transfer), the trainer must sign an acknowledgement that any damage or injury received due to negligence, or releasing one into the wild can result in prison time. The maximum sentence for releasing one is 10 years. Local law enforcement also must be made aware of their presence. Naturally, Corviknight Taxis have banned them from their services, and any interference with them can result in a trainer losing their license.

Dangers of Tinkaton!

I knew of its strength, pokedex info and how high it can jump, I saw videos about Tinkaton.

I was inside a Corviknight Taxi, I saw something pink flashing by. I looked outside of it and then, with the expressions there can tell you that we were in deep sh#÷:

No joke, it was during a huge fever-nightmare I had on Wednesday-night because I caught a viral infection. I was not having a good night, with a freaky weird digimon/transformers/pokemon mix nightmare and very sweaty pyjamas. I can´t really remember much what happened, but I only remember this scene.

I´m doing much better now, fever´s gone and those nightmares were only 1 night phew. I´m off to a good recovery.

Tinkaton are considered an incredibly dangerous invasive species in Galar due to their potential to completely disrupt the ecosystem, and as such there’s incredibly strict guidelines and legal requirements to bring one into Galar, and an incredibly hefty fine for failure to follow these guidelines.

Here’s a scenario for Phoebe if you’re up for it:

A Tinkaton going after Crowley due to him looking similar to a Corviknight. Or him being stalked/ used as target practice by a group of Tinkatuffs. Both groups do so with the enthusiasm of Rook Hunt.

A random Tinkaton came to the school and darts to Crowley while ignoring the students. Like its a cartoon chase scene, the Pokemon is smashing away while Crowley tries to throw things on it's path to deter it.

The staff decided to have a coffee/tea break before getting Phoebe. Of course, evenif they went to Phoebe they'd graciously indulge in some malasadas and cookies since the housekeeper trio were so kind to offer.

As soon as Phoebe was told of the situation. She can hear Crowley screaming at the top of his lungs somewhere... up high?!

The Tinkaton managed to chase him to the highest point of the school building.

Of course, she's not sending HER Corviknight to fight it off. But she does use Ditto who tricks the Tinkaton into chasing it instead.

Either they send it back to where it came from or Phoebe manages to catch it. She'd be surprised though since she has never seen Paldea Pokemon before and just guessed it.

Now maybe if she did catch it, there's a Tinkaton she has to keep an eye on to make sure it doesn't hurt the Corviknight.

okay hear me out.

if Gladio's signature 'mon is Aegislash (one of my top 10 favorites and has the signature move King's Shield, which makes this non-negotiable),

every other Chocobro MUST ALSO have a Steel-type 'mon (because Insomnia is technologically advanced and Steel-types are objectively cool even if some of them are butt ugly imo)

I propose Empoleon for Noct (that was a Prinplup for the longest time because Noct took a hella long time to develop into a proper king himself);

and Togedemaru for Prompto (because it reminds me of kid!Prompto, and also because it learns Pin Missile, which is basically his Trigger-Happy technique, by leveling up in S/M/US/UM);

but I'm split between Lucario or Metagross for Ignis. I was leaning towards Metagross a) to give everyone a Steel-type 'mon from a different gen and b) because it's extremely intelligent, but Lucario is intelligent too as well as highly empathetic and extremely loyal.

and then i remembered fucking Corviknight. which is just hella cool (and, you know, corvids are also intelligent af) and the color of shiny Corviknight kinda reminds me of the exact color of Ignis's hair lmao. it's also used to carry taxis in the region it's from, which ties into his driving everyone around...

but you know what, Corviknight being a Galar-native Pokémon will kinda feed into British Ignis (which is not my intention at all). and Lucario has this massive Anubis theme that's really not Ignis either... Metagross it is, then!

I'm done packing! Or I'm at least done packing the boxes. Sleeping stuff can't go until Friday night, and some of the Pokémon stuff stays out, too. I bought their foods in bulk last month, do that'll be packaged after I feed them Friday night, and we'll grab breakfast on the way to the airport. I bought a seat for Chomp last time I flew somewhere, which was late July last year, but he didn't really like being up in the air in the plane. Something about it made him feel anxious, so this time I've only gotten the one seat.

Stars I hate flying, though. It's truly the worst experience. Last year we drove to Paldea, but my mother can't get the time off work this year and I don't want to put her and my brother through that again. So this year I'm flying. Except that's my least favourite thing to do ever. I might honestly die.

Airports are the worst place to be and I hate them so so so much!! But it's fine I've bought extra luggage (another suitcase) for my boxes to be stuffed into and I've packed them up tight and secure, with everything labelled and tracking on all of it. And I've got a service picking up my other boxes that I won't need right away the afternoon before my flight, which is fine. Im just not looking forward to the actual experience of being in the airport and getting on and off the plane. Last time I was on one was when I was coming back from Kalos last year, and the landing made my ears pop in the most excruciating pain I've ever been in lmao.

But it's fine! I'm sure it'll be fine! I'll be fine, and as soon as I'm out of security in the Paldean airport I'll be able to have my Pokémon out with me to help me out. Maybe I'll even get pumpkin approved to fly with me on my lap if I'm there early enough. They always make me feel safe.

But holy shit am I anxious.
