Hahaha OH GEE I have to rank them too?! This is the fast five I can think of at the top of my head.

1. “Home is here with you” ending bit

2. The whole stars scene before Buffalo Gun

3. The scene where they ride off in a field of poppy

4. That scene where Eli is sticking sticks in the ground and Cornelia is in full outfit with wind in her hair and they are kinda looking at each other when each of them don’t notice. (AND ALSO ELI FULL THIGH BUTT IN FULL GLORY)

The docks were bustling with activity; they had been since early that morning when Cornelia had taken a seat by the window of her hotel room, drinking cup after cup of tea as she watched the sea, waiting for the steamliner to make its appearance amongst the sailed ships. She had arrived a day early, and had learned from the Guion Line office that the Wyoming would be a day late. This had done nothing to soothe her anxiety as she paced the room, the streets, regretting declining Neil’s offer of an escort, until reminding herself how awkward it would be for him when Eli arrived. Not just for him, truly.

There were hundreds of questions bouncing through her mind, but she willingly ignored most of them, only focussing on those pertaining to their imminent reunion. Reunion… even the word felt odd. A second union. Had there even been a first ? Had it been real? Had it-

No.

Once more, she deflected. Brought herself back to Liverpool, to its docks, to where she would soon meet the man who had saved her life, in more ways than one. Who had fought and killed for her. Who then had let her go… why had he let her go? Why had he not fought on? Had he-

No.

A man she was about to meet once more, any minute now, after ten months apart… why ten months? Why so long? Why-

No.

After ten months apart, how would their meeting go? What would it be like, to face him, once more? Would he be changed, or just the same? Would he find her changed, a long winter later?

Lord I have many other wips but what if a fix-it fic where the Hoxem community (sheriff, Martha and her son, Jed) plus Cornelia and Eli with White Moon live happily ever after as a sort of a family.

I wished for a possibility that Martha and Cornelia could have bonded more. They seemed to have friendship potential.

And Stephen Rea made the sheriff Marshall radiate dad energy with the power of the sun. Would the others give him grief or give an old man something to smile about when he enjoys a cup of coffee? Perhaps, both.

Also I’d be interested in developing Jed’s and White Moon’s characters more. Both of them have things in common like moms with some steely maternal instincts. They also might be around the same age. Could they become fast friends who wind up causing mayhem like teenage boys are bound to do?

Naturally, Cornelia wouldn’t be sick. I want my fellow scorpio girl to be happy and get some good dick between the lines.

But yeah a total sappy wish-fulfillment fic just because. Would anyone be interested in that?
