Carl Evans shot this full moon photo from Broadhaven, Pembrokeshire. The outcropping in the middle is known as Church Rock. The image consists of two photos stacked to show the moon through the clouds and the birds in flight around Church Rock. "I stood on the beach at Broadhaven for a couple of hours waiting for the Moon to rise. The clouds initially hid the Moon and as I was walking away it appeared among the clouds, adding a nice effect over it," Evans said of the photoshoot.

"desperately safe" I feel this basically summarizes Gemini's mental states, grasping and clinging to whatever's familiar and safe. Between their need for home and the persistent undercurrents of hunger and LV, Gemini... is barely hanging in there. Just barely, but it is just enough.

Webb didn’t observe the atmosphere of a giant, Jupiter-sized planet orbiting its star in THREE DAYS over 1000 light years away, just for everyone to ignore it. just because it isn’t a pretty picture doesn’t mean it isn’t an astounding feat of science and technology.

Played around in Paint 3D yesterday.

#paint3d #mspaint #samus #metroid #samus aran #by no means masterful modeling but I wanted to play in the space #it's surprisingly flexible for what it is #she is tired from all of the space bullshit she deserves a break #i noticed she kind of looked like a mii when i tried to incorporate 2d-lines-as-3d-objects around stuff like the chin #so i leaned into it on the nose and such #had to do a bit of color adjustment in another program to get closer to the atmosphere I wanted #the modeling tools aren't super sophisticated but i appreciate the feature where you can draw a 3d object #you can rotate your almost-flattish little model to pull at it from different sides and manipulate the dimensions that way #if i worked with a simpler shape with less moving parts i could probably make something that looks pretty cool #that way I'd have to think about less composition-wise
