Drawn To Key West is the first-ever graphic novel to explore the vibrant history of Key West, Florida, the development of the famed Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square, and contains a series of interviews with the street performers who make their living there.

Drawn to Key West, is the first graphic novel to explore the vibrant history of Key West, Florida, the development of the famed Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square, and contains a series of interviews with 14 street performers who make their living there.

In 2019, I left my entire life in New York for Key West to create a graphic novel about Mallory Square’s street performers. My life was soon entirely consumed by my drive to learn everything I could about being a busker and has revolved around Mallory Square ever since.

With this comic, I wish to shed light on the art form in hopes of garnering awareness of a largely unrecorded history, increasing appreciation for the craft, and helping preserve a tradition that I love and respect dearly.
