We are getting all up in our feels this hiatus with COLOR ME RIVERDALE—an all ship, all character inclusive event. Edit-makers, gif-makers, artists, and writers alike are invited to participate. Let color and/or emotion inspire your work, wherever it takes you— any AU, genre, trope, or canon content is welcome. This event will run from June 7th-30th. Don’t forget to tag #riverdaleevents in your first 5 tags!

If it’s created content, you can submit it!

If your piece is a multichapter fic, you don’t have to complete it before the event ends. It is eligible as long as you start posting it during the event window. Make sure to keep tagging us on your chapter update posts!

M and E rated content is welcome for every theme!

HOW DOES WORK GET SUBMITTED FOR THIS EVENT?

To submit work, please tag us with #riverdaleevents in the first 5 tags of your work or at @riverdale-events​ on your piece. We will reblog every submission here at Riverdale-Events over the course of the event. If we miss reblogging your content, send us an ask!

Be sure to indicate which theme/prompt your content is for. You can put it in your tags or on your piece, just let us know so we can reblog appropriately.

We also have an AO3 collection. AO3 has a really great tutorial on how to post to a collection! Check it out for in-depth instructions. The easiest way to join is to go straight to the COLOR ME RIVERDALE collection on AO3, and click the “Post to Collection” button. That will take you to a screen to upload your fic as normal! That button fills out the specific collection for you, so you know your work is going to the right place. Your fic will still show up under your works, and you will be listed as the author of your story.

THERE ARE MULTIPLE FANDOM EVENTS GOING, CAN I INCLUDE IT IN ALL OF THEM?

Absolutely! We support all fandom events! If there is another fandom event running at the same time as this one, and your content is applicable, feel free to submit it/include it in all of those available! Make sure you tag ALL applicable event tags in the first 5 tags of your post.

A Small Crime

It isn’t supposed to be like this.

Betty tightens her fists, digging her nails into the palms of her hands. The sting is familiar and grounding. It doesn’t lessen the pain she’s feeling. It doesn’t make it go away. It doesn’t make him stop looking at her like she’s the worst type of human being – a heartbreaker, a cheater, a liar.

His words echo in her ear. It's over. I can’t trust you anymore.

Betty let out a full on belly-laugh.

"Why do you know that?"

"Mr. Flootsnute's third grade science project," he shrugged.

"Sometimes I wonder what goes on in that head of yours," she laughed, taking his hand and dragging her husband away from the bar and outside into the cool night air.

Color Me Riverdale Extension!

We know, we know. Today is supposed to be the end of Color Me Riverdale, but your admins realized this made no sense. We’ve got a never ending hiatus upon us, we love how these events bring us together (now more than ever), and it’s Pride month!!! The event will now run through June 30th and the masterlist will go up on July 2nd.

Remember, your content can fill a theme by being COLOR based, EMOTION based, or BOTH! 

Edits, gifs, art, fic (any length multi, one-shot, ficlet, drabble), videos, recs, and even playlists for ANY ship or character are welcome! Honestly, if you’re making content, it’s probably applicable.

It’s alright to include a piece of content in more than one event! It’s Pride month and multiple events may be running consecutively. If your content is applicable, feel free to submit/include it in all those available. We support all fandom events!
