dodie jane weston is a twenty and six year old woman, who was born and raised in london, until the age of sixteen, when her family decided to relocate to vienna, austria, in order to help care for her maternal grandfather, who had fallen ill. before her tragic move, the weston family was quite close to the bridgertons, their mothers being childhood friends and gleefully allowed their children to play with one another, despite the eldest bridgerton child being two and a half years her senior. dodie was close with the second eldest, benedict, the two bonding over their shared love for the arts, though, dodie preferred to read. she also got along well with daphne, who looked up to her quite often, and dodie adored her as if she was her own sister. as for anthony, well ... at the age of thirteen is when dodie realized she had feelings for the boy, at least, that's when she was able to recognize such crush. the two had always had such underlying relations beneath their friendship, everyone could see it, including benedict and colin who would tease anthony, all while young eloise would playfully joke about the two becoming wedded when they reach of age. and maybe that would have been true, if certain events had never happened.
when dodie's family relocated, it was hard on her, saying goodbye to her second family, saying goodbye to anthony. but, she was at ease knowing she'll write with them and possibly visit in the future. sadly, the letters between her and her childhood crush would halt after seven letters. she remembers her own becoming unanswered, from all of the bridgertons, until a fortnight passed and her parents informed her that edmund bridgerton had died. when the news broke, dodie wrote until her hand was numb, writing letters to each family member, and two towards anthony, telling him that she was deeply sorry for his lost, and to please let her know he was okay. each member that was capable of writing wrote back, all besides anthony. in fact, he never sent her another letter again, much to dodie's heartbreak.
the weston family resided in vienna for a decade, even after her grandfathers passing, her parents decided to settle there to keep her grandmother company. what brought them back to london, was their fortune decaying. for years, did the assure dodie she could marry whomever she wanted, whomever she loved, but when she sees her family's financial struggle, she decides marrying for duty was far more important, despite her initial belief that marriage was sacred. cue the weston's moving back during the social season, in hopes to find their only daughter a groom. being back in her hometown was wonderful - what wasn't, was having to face anthony bridgerton after he left her in the dust all these years.
dodie is a doe eyed woman portrayed by rose williams. as for her personality, she's a very intelligent book worm, who has a kind heart, but could be as fierce as many if needed to be. though easily flustered, she isn't afraid to make a move and call out anyone on their bullshit, and sometimes, she should probably bite her tongue, but it's hard to do when you're strong willed, and even more so, stubborn. here you can find her pinterest board.

One of the most original time-travel thrillers since 12 Monkeys. A brilliant subversion of the Time Paradox trope, with enough plot twists to keep you entertained until well after the movie is finished. Predestination is an amazing movie with great performances from Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook. It’s a movie that will feel like Inception, when it comes to messing with your mind and barely anyone has heard of it. It is highly underrated and unknown, sadly.
4. Train to Busan (2016)

A zombie virus breaks out and catches up with a father as he is taking his daughter from Seoul to Busan, South Korea’s second-largest city. Watch them trying to survive to reach their destination, a purported safe zone.
The acting is spot-on; the set pieces are particularly well choreographed. You’ll care about the characters. You’ll feel for the father as he struggles to keep his humanity in the bleakest of scenarios.
It’s a refreshingly thrilling disaster movie, a perfect specimen of the genre.
3. Serenity (2005)
Genre: Action, Adventure, Science Fiction, Thriller

Serenity is a futuristic sci-fi film that serves as a feature-length continuation of the story-line from the TV program Firefly (2002–2003). The story revolves around the captain (Nathan Fillion) and crew of the titular space vessel that operate as space outlaws, running cargo and smuggling missions throughout the galaxy. They take on a mysterious young psychic girl and her brother, the girl carrying secrets detrimental to the intergalactic government, and soon find themselves being hunted by a nefarious assassin (Chiwetel Ejiofor). The first feature-length film from Joss Whedon (The Avengers), Serenity is a lively and enjoyable adventure, replete with large-scale action sequences, strong characterizations and just the right touch of wry humor. An enjoyable viewing experience that stands alone without demanding that you have familiarity with the original program beforehand.
2. Sorry to Bother You (2018)
Genre: Comedy, Fantasy, Science Fiction
Actor: Armie Hammer, Danny Glover, David Cross, Ed Moy, Forest Whitaker, James D. Weston II, Jermaine Fowler, John Ozuna, Kate Berlant, Lakeith Stanfield, Lily James, Marcella Bragio, Michael X. Sommers, Molly Brady, Omari Hardwick, Patton Oswalt, Robert Longstreet, Rosario Dawson, Steven Yeun, Teresa Navarro, Terry Crews, Tessa Thompson, Tom Woodruff Jr., Tony Toste, W. Kamau Bell
Director: Boots Riley
Tumblr media
In the year of the Netflix TV Show Maniac, another absurdist title stole critics’ hearts. Sorry to Bother You is a movie set in an alternate reality, where capitalism and greed are accentuated. Lakeith Stanfield (Atlanta) is a guy called Cassius who struggles to pay his bills. However, when at a tele-marketing job an old-timer tells him to use a “white voice”, he starts moving up the ranks of his bizarre society. A really smart movie that will be mostly enjoyed by those who watch it for its entertaining value, and not so much for its commentary. It is like a Black Mirror episode stretched into a movie.
1. Ex Machina (2015)
Genre: Drama, Science Fiction
Actor: Alex Garland, Alicia Vikander, Chelsea Li, Claire Selby, Corey Johnson, Domhnall Gleeson, Elina Alminas, Gana Bayarsaikhan, Oscar Isaac, Sonoya Mizuno, Symara A. Templeman, Symara Templeman, Tiffany Pisani
Director: Alex Garland
Rating: R

Ex Machina is the directorial debut of Alex Garland, the writer of 28 Days Later (and 28 Weeks Later). It tells the story of Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson from About Time), an IT developer who is invited by a billionaire CEO to participate in a groundbreaking experiment — administering a Turing test to a humanoid robot called Ava (Alicia Vikander). Meeting the robot with feelings of superiority at first, questions of trust and ethics soon collide with the protagonist’s personal views. While this dazzling film does not rely on them, the visual effects and the overall look-feel of Ex Machina are absolutely stunning and were rightly picked for an Academy Award. They make Ex Machina feel just as casually futuristic as the equally stylish Her and, like Joaquin Phoenix, Gleeson aka Caleb must confront the feelings he develops towards a machine, despite his full awareness that ‘she’ is just that. This is possibly as close to Kubrick as anyone got in the 21st century. Ex Machina is clever, thrilling, and packed with engaging ideas.

Colin’s brother Ian had brought one of the most popular broadsheets to him: on it he was depicted with Satanic horns and a pointed tail and wielding a ridiculous knife—more a scimitar, really—dripping blood into a pool.
In a rare note of authenticity, the artist had seen fit to sketch him in a Weston-cut coat.
“Looks just like you,” Ian had told him. Because that’s what brothers were for.
“What bloody nonsense.” Colin handed the broadsheet back to Ian. “My horns are considerably more majestic.”

dodie jane weston is a twenty and six year old woman, who was born and raised in london, until the age of sixteen, when her family decided to relocate to vienna, austria, in order to help care for her maternal grandfather, who had fallen ill. before her tragic move, the weston family was quite close to the bridgertons, their mothers being childhood friends and gleefully allowed their children to play with one another, despite the eldest bridgerton child being two and a half years her senior. dodie was close with the second eldest, benedict, the two bonding over their shared love for the arts, though, dodie preferred to read. she also got along well with daphne, who looked up to her quite often, and dodie adored her as if she was her own sister. as for anthony, well ... at the age of thirteen is when dodie realized she had feelings for the boy, at least, that's when she was able to recognize such crush. the two had always had such underlying relations beneath their friendship, everyone could see it, including benedict and colin who would tease anthony, all while young eloise would playfully joke about the two becoming wedded when they reach of age. and maybe that would have been true, if certain events had never happened.
when dodie's family relocated, it was hard on her, saying goodbye to her second family, saying goodbye to anthony. but, she was at ease knowing she'll write with them and possibly visit in the future. sadly, the letters between her and her childhood crush would halt after seven letters. she remembers her own becoming unanswered, from all of the bridgertons, until a fortnight passed and her parents informed her that edmund bridgerton had died. when the news broke, dodie wrote until her hand was numb, writing letters to each family member, and two towards anthony, telling him that she was deeply sorry for his lost, and to please let her know he was okay. each member that was capable of writing wrote back, all besides anthony. in fact, he never sent her another letter again, much to dodie's heartbreak.
the weston family resided in vienna for a decade, even after her grandfathers passing, her parents decided to settle there to keep her grandmother company. what brought them back to london, was their fortune decaying. for years, did the assure dodie she could marry whomever she wanted, whomever she loved, but when she sees her family's financial struggle, she decides marrying for duty was far more important, despite her initial belief that marriage was sacred. cue the weston's moving back during the social season, in hopes to find their only daughter a groom. being back in her hometown was wonderful - what wasn't, was having to face anthony bridgerton after he left her in the dust all these years.
dodie is a doe eyed woman portrayed by rose williams. as for her personality, she's a very intelligent book worm, who has a kind heart, but could be as fierce as many if needed to be. though easily flustered, she isn't afraid to make a move and call out anyone on their bullshit, and sometimes, she should probably bite her tongue, but it's hard to do when you're strong willed, and even more so, stubborn. here you can find her pinterest board.

2. Do you listen to music while you write? If so, what do you like to listen to?
Yes, I do. Right now I am listening to Til Death Do Us Part by Kait Weston. Which is my to go to for anything, Merthur. Lately, I've been stuck on Hold Me Now by Red. I basically like pop/rock and indie/alterative. I listen to alot of artists I have found on TikTok because alot of their stuff is often looked over. Mainstream music doesn't appeal to me. They also have the best covers. 5. What is the most difficult thing about writing your current muse?
Probably I have so much bloody muse for Merlin but he gets overlooked mostly and my Arthur is more requested. It can get frustrating because its so high alot of the time and I just love Colin Morgan's movies n shows.
20. If you could tell your muse something, what would it be?
Stop being a worry wart. Honestly, I thought I was a big one but Merlin takes the cake. He always worries about the small stuff and overthinks constantly. He's just a nervous bean.
